Are these tests known for false positives?

Picture doesn't show very well but I took this yesterday (think I must have been around 6DPO) as was having some symptoms and although it is very faint there is definitely something showing as a potential second line.

I will of course test again in a few days but thought I would try find out if anyone else had experience of using these tests and it being a good/bad outcome in terms of reliability

I used these myself and didn’t believe my faint positives that I got at 8DPO due to some of the reviews I’d read. However I tested with other brands that also had faint positives and then this one which says it all. So it is possible to find out very early.

Thank you! I’m currently sat with the outcome of those faint lines 😅 she was 1 on the 21st January. I wanted this post to reassure and give hope to anyone on their TTC journey x

@TTC2021x thank you for this thread!
I had my first pregnancy which ended is miscarriage in February it was a prolonged process but finally completed in early March!
I now find myself in exactly the same situation as you regarding your first line and I don’t want to get too excited but reading this has made me hopeful.
Congratulations on your little one!

Hi, I've just found your thread. Trying to conceive my 3rd and I'm in the same boat. Using the same tests and just got a faint positive at what I believe to be 6dpo. I had a chemical pregnancy in November so I've been pretty down about conceiving recently. I tracked all my tests from last month and none look like they have a line on them, just the one I've done from today. Just a little about myself. It's been nearly 9 years since I had my daughter and my son is 14 this October. I had him when I was 20. I'm going to make my own post to share my journey as you have inspired me. Such an amazing post. Congratulations on your Baba. Such a lovely post to read ❤️❤️

Hey I know it’s been so long since you post this but I saw your BPF congratulations girl.
so basically I’m going through the same thing. My early tests are showing so faint like where you can’t see it and keep thinking u need extra part of eyes. But it’s there a faithless line. I’m Dpo 8 today I’ve token a test the more I look at it looks like there’s a line a shadowed or something. I’ll upload some photos

7 days after or 8 days after can you test? My test was done on 7 days but I'm getting a lot of messed up symptoms getting extremely hungry puking indigestion etc I took a test I think it said negative so I assumed I'm not pregnant

@hollie29x I’ve just come across your thread as I have a similar 7dpo line, I’ve had many evaps on this brand so taking it with a pinch of salt at this point. I was absolutely routing for you when I started reading it and was made to see it turned out to be a bfp and to see your updates. I hope your little girl is doing well :)

@hollie29x Congratulations Hollie...sat here with same thing and I see it's a long time since you went through it. I'm 5/6dpo and all day I've had negs then suddenly at midnight I had a positive. So confused.. can anyone advise
