Are these tests known for false positives?

Picture doesn't show very well but I took this yesterday (think I must have been around 6DPO) as was having some symptoms and although it is very faint there is definitely something showing as a potential second line.

I will of course test again in a few days but thought I would try find out if anyone else had experience of using these tests and it being a good/bad outcome in terms of reliability

@hollie29x how many dpo is that??

I just gave in and tested and got a super light line but I'm only 8dpo, with a chemical last month I'm cautiously optimistic. 🤞

@VixFromThe6ix lovely strong line for 8dpo!! Congrats🥳 Fingers crossed for you ❤️❤️

hollie29x · 19/05/2021 21:59

@VixFromThe6ix 9DPO! Your line looks great for 8DPO. I also had a chemical, mine was in April so I have had one period in between and now pregnant again. Congratulations lovely. FX for both of us! 😘

@extrababydust123 thank you! Not holding my breath till its gonna get darker... Had enough bad experience not to get happy too early. Even though I really really really wanna get excited.

@hollie29x mine was in April too!! First time... Imagine my reaction getting a slight line last month and it never progressing. I didn't even know about chemicals. So I'm so cautious this time around...hoping and praying it's the one that sticks... My double rainbow baby

hollie29x · 19/05/2021 22:05

@VixFromThe6ix if anyone deserves it we do! I have had two miscarriages, two healthy full term pregnancies/babies and now trying for #3. After two losses you'd have thought I'd have known what a chemical was but I had no idea what it was, truly heartbreaking experience and like you will remain cautious this time around x

VixFromThe6ix · 19/05/2021 22:09

@hollie29x I agree... I also had two miscarriages which were both tough to go through. And I still have no babies and I'm 37... So I'm just so so hopeful that it sticks and blessed me and my partner to be parents finally. The whole ttc process has been nothing short of absolutely soul crushing for me. But whatever... New cycle new hope. Hope our lines continue to get darker, babe. Baby dust for you ✨✨✨

Now that's a proper line there @hollie29x

@Bundaberg84 feels strange to not have to move it around at every angle or squint 🤣

@hollie29x this thread is incredible! I see so many people seeing faint lines and results to nothing but you were so adamant and so right and then literally the next day they are as clear as day!!! Wishing you all the best in your pregnancyThanks

hollie29x · 26/06/2021 10:35

Thank you @CTMcG ; I definitely knew I was seeing lines. I understand they don't show up great in pictures but want this post to be reassuring for women who may come across it in the future. 🤞🏼

I love this thread gives a strong example of trusting yourself and going with what you feel is right for you as sometimes those on here like to impose their stance on to you…Congratulations ✨✨ and thank you for coming back with an update

hollie29x · 23/11/2021 08:40

Thank you @Lotus1702

I am now 31 weeks pregnant. This thread feels like a lifetime ago now! Xx

I was just reading this thread without noticing the date.. I could see all the lines and was SO happy when you posted the 9dpo FRER, then your early scan which made me check the date 😂

Biggest congrats, im 34+4 and I often read back up on my thread of my line eyes (used the same tests and had the same lines) and can't believe where the time has gone!

Lotus1702 · 25/11/2021 03:42

Oh great Wishing you continued success ✨✨
