@Crazydoglady123 how are you doing? Have you got your scan booked in yet? Can I ask if your clinic said anything you about exercise you should avoid post egg collection or post ET? I normally swim three times a week and see my PT twice and I'm not sure if I'm going to have to take a break. Im only 8.5 weeks from my wedding now so would really like to carry on with something at least! Im going to ask the clinic tomorrow but I'm impatient!

Sorry, struggling to keep up atm! I've been really struggling with being so bloated 🙈 I had a progesterone blood test yesterday to make sure the added injections were enough and my level was at 600 and something! I asked if BETA bloods would indicate if both implanted or not and nurse said could do so she did that too and the result came back at 527 so not really concluding yes or no to that one. Scan booked for 8th June...honestly girls, this is going to be the worst three week wait 🤣😭

@Motherofkittens28 my clinic on their care sheet says no heavy lifting, swimming or baths in TWW. I'm not too sure how soon after that it's okay to do it again? You feeling any better now?

@Crazydoglady123 ooh that's a good progesterone level! Annoying that the other one Disney give you a conclusive answer if it's one or two though! I bet it will feel like 3 months rather than 3 weeks! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

@Sjhigs sorry about the bfn and bleeding but good that you are starting ivf now! I’m also scheduled for egg collection on/around 28th June! 😬

Thanks everyone for the luck, I'm starting to feel quite nervous. I'm just hoping there is at least 1 egg! I'm not feeling too bad physically, just a bit twingy. I'm due in at 9:15 tomorrow, last time they wouldn't tell me the results for ages, I think they were worried how I'd take it, I just want them to get it over with this time.

@Crazydoglady123 that's all sounding really good! The waiting is tough but it will be here before you know it!

@polejunkie turns out they don't call it a short protocol for nothing lol! I was injecting for only 8 days in the end!

Thanks everyone, I'm just in the recovery place. This time they go two eggs, so better than last time. Just feel a bit flat now, it'd not bad news as at least we got something and it's double last time but still doesn't give much room for failure in all the next phases

@Motherofkittens28 bless you, sorry you feel a bit flat - it's a rollercoaster! Anyway 2 eggs is fantastic, remember 1 is all it takes. Look after yourself and try to relax ready for xfer. I hope you're feeling ok x

Does anyone else live in fear that every female they know is pregnant? Jot so much 2nd time mums but my friends who dont have any children I just think they are all ready to announce haha.

Literally before I meet or speak to anyone i mentally prepare myself that they may announce a pregnancy so that i can like pre prepare my reaction. An i psycho or is this normal for infertiles? Haha

@Annny27 I think it's quite normal. You're protecting yourself is all. I'm the last one out of my friends from home, uni friends and dhs friends so it's 2nd and 3rd babies for all of them now. I steel myself for those announcements as I feel further n further away from no 1, but as egg collection is hopefully next Friday I'm feeling ok these days! When do you start potential interventions?

@notyetamumbutytrying ooh not far for you! Are you feeling uncomfortable yet - I know some women get very bloated before!

And it will be november by the time I am eligible for ivf as that was my first pregnancy end date. Although we have been trying since june 2019 so it's really annoying! I think because I have been pregnant twice they are saying the endo is reducing my chances but not preventing so after endo removal they might make me do a few months of natural before we move to ivf so I am not sure! I am lucky to be 29 although i already feel left behind by nhs and wanting to just get started!

@Annny27 I'm ok at mo, but I'm sure I'll be uncomfortable by next weds. That's the day of my first scan so if all looks ok, they'll give me my collection date then.

Thanks everyone. Just had a call from the clinic saying they are going to have to do ICSI because of issues with the sample. The absolute only think that has changed is he's had the covid vaccine so I think that must have effected it. Apparently it was the motility that was off and that had never been an issue in an of the 3 SAs he's has. Luckily the clinic said they won't charge us for the ICSI.
