@GuessHowMuch thank you xx it really is. I’m trying to make it all make sense but it just doesn’t.
Lh 4.4
Fsh 5.4
Prolactin 132

What were your prolactin levels?

GuessHowMuch · 21/05/2021 19:59

@got2be annoyingly it’s not listed as one of my results on the GP app.
LH 5.3
FSH 11.6
I’ve since had a diagnosis of fibroids, cysts and polyps but small ones so watchful waiting with all that. Have you got to wait for an appointment now?

got2be · 21/05/2021 20:10

@GuessHowMuch yes as dh has no time off work.
I have fibroids too very small and told there not interfering. But they never diagnose cysts even tho I always complain of pain.

I really can’t find much online other then hormonal imbalance...

My2boysaremyworld · 21/05/2021 20:13
@My2boysaremyworld hi 👋🏼 I’m 37, nearly 38 and have two boys too. Have you been trying for your third for long? Fingers crossed you get your BFP soon!!
Hi been trying since October. Had my implant out in September last year. How long have you been trying? How old are your boys? I feel so strange this month, nausea every day. No appetite but craving greasy food x

ElsieG3m · 21/05/2021 20:32

@got2be I'm so sorry again. That truly is such a gutting experience. It's fantastic that you have an appt with Raj Rai though - he is amazing and I'm really confident that he will be able to help you. It's a game changer when you get the right treatment and I'm really sure he can help. For now, try to be kind to yourself - give yourself permission for a glass or two of wine and a bar of chocolate and maybe book yourself something nice to do to look forward to. You will get there and one day this will be your "story" of how tough it was before things worked out. Lots of love xx

got2be · 21/05/2021 20:42

@ElsieG3m aww thank you so much your words are so kind. I’m glad to have you all.
I do have faith in raj we had a good talk and he feels confident that he can help me. Will update all once that happens xxx
@VixFromThe6ix pls don’t stay away in fear you will upset me any bfp is a win for the team xx

VixFromThe6ix · 21/05/2021 21:02

I'm here 😊 @got2be . I really felt bad posting after your post cause I didn't see it and didn't want it to seem like I ignored your post to post mine. My heart really aches for every post I read on here because I could either relate to it or because I just could imagine the hurt and frustration. It's really been my only place to speak about what I go through.
Is this raj a doctor or private clinic? Did you get an appointment quick or is the wait long? Here some private clinics are 6months wait.

Today I let my fertility clinic know I had a positive test, so they want me to go for a blood test. My partner thinks I'm really rushing this and that I shouldn't have called so early. Already having anxiety over this whole ordeal, now I feel down. I know he's trying to protect me from disappointment but it comes off like he doesn't think it's real. So I went and took a nap and then had a huge slice of cake.

got2be · 21/05/2021 21:14

@VixFromThe6ix it’s so easy to miss posts on here sure I’ve done it a few times. I actually put my post up before telling dh it really is a safe place with such understanding amazing women.
I just wish none of us were going through this.
I’m really happy for you and understand why you want to get the ball rolling sometimes though it is better as it will give you peace of mind knowing everything is ok. 😊
Men can’t handle things the way us women can his probably just a lil scared xx

Raj is private and from research very good. Probably should of gone private years ago xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 21/05/2021 21:32

@got2be re: prolactin, what measurement was it in? Mine is 385 mU/l which is normal range, but I thought I had a tumour because I was looking at the ranges for ng/ml 🤦‍♀️ contacted my GP about it also. Yours would be normal if its mU/l also I think.

Re safe space yes I come on here also, easier than talking to people who don't understand

MgW1 · 21/05/2021 21:49

@got2be
Have you missed my post? Sorry this has happened, good that you are seeing someone.x

got2be · 21/05/2021 22:00

@MgW1 thank you xx sorry missed that one. I saw everyone using them and getting bfp so thought they were lucky.
I did get a positive on fr this morning but then it disappeared.

got2be · 21/05/2021 22:03

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 That must of been scary 😦 mine was measured in mU/l too x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 21/05/2021 22:23

@got2be no I mostly just felt like an idiot! It’s really good you’ve got an appointment with a decent consultant

Marvellouslymadmum · 21/05/2021 22:28

@got2be oh that's so confusing for you I'm so sorry! Maybe it's failed ovulation where your body tried hence the opk but didn't succeed that doesn't explain the temps though! Or I've heard that on occasion our bodies can attempt to ovulate twice, so maybe you did ovulate and your bodies thinking about doing it again? It's so confusing looking at your tests, I'm just trying to think of anything at all that may give you answers and it may just be a load of rubbish - let's hope your appointment goes well and you get some answers!
I checked my google letter and it says prolactin should be 102-496 mu/l

@My2boysaremyworld hi, I'm the same have two older children with previous partner and trying for first with current partner. There's always a chance until af arrives 🤞🏻

Oh I know! I feel like my body is tricking me and I feel stupid for thinking I could be pregnant when I also feel like AF is coming! Xx

Misty84 · 22/05/2021 09:15

A crap couple of days as AF arrived once again, onto month 23 TTC now...it’s hard to even hope for success anymore, I’m so accustomed to failure!

@got2be Really sorry to hear what you’re going through, it’s very cruel and I can’t even imagine the confusion xx

Sleeeeeepy · 22/05/2021 09:15

Hi ladies. Just dropping in with an update having lost the last few weeks to work. After some soul searching we've decided to stop trying. I found out my cyst has gone, I think it must have been related to the miscarriage and then the extended aftermath of that, but I think through all that I'd found peace with not having another baby.

This has been such a brilliant, supportive thread. Thankyou so much for everything, and massive bucketloads of good luck to all of you. I'm off to conquer the world x

KatRee · 22/05/2021 11:39

Hi all, not much to report here, but just checking in- been keeping up with the thread and sorry for all having tough times.

@Misty84 sorry af is here again, it's such a disheartening moment every time.

@got2be really sorry to hear what happened- how gutting and confusing.
I hope you're doing ok

@Sleeeeeepy Glad you've found peace and wish you well for a wonderful future

@VixFromThe6ix Got my fingers crossed for a happy and healthy nine months for you

ElsieG3m · 22/05/2021 12:59

@Misty84 so sorry AF has arrived - sending you big hugs. My friend reached the two year point, decided to stop trying as she already has a little boy, and bam, that's when it happened. She's due in August. Keep hope xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/05/2021 15:33

@My2boysaremyworld we've all been there, don't be hard on yourself.

@Misty84 sorry af arrived for you, I know how you feel I've been feeling the same recently

@Sleeeeeepy glad you're feeling ok with everything, good luck with conquering

@Sleeeeeepy wishing you the best in your journey, love. Finding peace is important and I'm glad that you're at peace with your decision.

@katree thank you so much!!
