hey guys could so just hide under my duvet but wanted to update you all, this morning i went to epu, as i found it strange i was getting conflicting tests on different brands, pervious mc and not knowing if to start progesterone.

they did a test and it was bfn, they did a scan an could not see anything not even a cl but saw a follicle of 14cm, lining 11cm so did bloods,
hcg was under 1 and progesterone was 7.4.

so not am i not pregnant and apparently not even ovulated when im on cd26 of 28

they could not answer why im getting positive tests. why i got a peak on okps or why my temps rose from 36.4-36.9 and have stayed high since cd15.
ive never been so confused in all my life

Good god, I'm so so so sorry, cycle buddy. F**k, I feel like a moron posting my tests after your comment as I didnt refresh the page so I didn't see it... This must be so confusing for you. What did they suggest you do next?? I'm confused with your it's not making sense!!

@got2be really sorry, that's really rubbish xx Don't feel you have to answer today, cos I'm sure you just want to hide away, but do you think your consultant might take a further look into your case now and see what's going on? I wouldn't think your temp should be so high if there's been no ovulation, and 36.9 is v high. Also it was past day 21 equivalent, but I don't know what the level of progesterone would be expected to be then.

Hey I don't know if it helps. But I read this once - sometime we don't get to know all the answers. It helped me because I have ocd and thought if I ticked all the boxes thing will just work. But life's never that tidy.

Sometimes we just have to accept and find ways to cope with it instead of wondering why. Love and hugs to you

@got2be an anovulatory cycle? Well i never got a proper peak and iv had lots of cm so I think im similar to you. Im sorry to hear this xx

@got2be take time to absorb all the information, then take it from there. What you can do next, where should you go for further direction. I hope someone can shed some light on your situation as positive pregnancy test and peak LH levels have to mean something.
Like the other girls said, don't gotta do anything today. Take a few days off and take care of yourself.
We will be here whenever you need.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 @AnxiousWannabe @MgW1 thank you i'm actually ok been disappointed one too many times on this ttc journey. i'm just totally confused and can not find anything online to suggest why i got a peak on the same day using 2 different okps why i'm producing bfp on 2 different tests when going by bloods and why i have a clear temp rise when i've not even ovulated. its cd26.
my day 21 progesterone is 7.4 normally around 45.
the only thing i can think of is a hormonal imbalance?! but which as lh/fsh and oestrogen always come back ok

@got2be where do you live? Hopefully someone can recommend a good place near you. I just think at this point you need someone knowledgeable to go through all of your info and tests properly. I'm gutted for you though, its disappointing and shit. And its a shame you haven't been able to access more help

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I have an appointment booked with raj rai in st mary's london, id given up on nhs anyway but now i actually feel to give up totally.
i thought i'd seen or heard everything when it came to ttc, but this is a total head f, i expected a low hcg reading as tests were faint but not progesterone and prepared myself to be told its a mc or cp. but to be told ive not even ov was way unexpected. if i didn't get a peak on okps id think anovulation. but to get both +okps and bfp is beyond shit as not even dr google can help me

Hi everyone I’m new here. I’m 38 and TTC my 3rd baby. Iv got 2 sons with my ex partner and now trying with my new partner. He hasn’t got any children so would love for us to have one together. He’s never put any pressure on me to have one. After having my youngest I thought I was done. Little did I know my then partner would cheat on me and leave me just after my mom died and just before my youngest turned 1! So here i am now trying for another miracle.
I took 2 tests this morning cuz Iv been feeling sick since last Saturday. I’m getting cramping today too not sure if it’s AF coming. Well the first test was negative so went out and got the early detection ones and that was negative too. AF is due on Sunday. Does anyone think there’s still a chance? Xx

Welcome and absolutely!!! Id defo wait until your af due and test day after if late. Im trying for # 3 too , there are a few of us with older children xx

@got2be I’m so sorry!! Your head must be absolutely spinning, what a bizarre situation. Your OPKs show a definite peak/drop, and you have a completely normal looking temperature chart of low before ovulation and high after.....why did they believe that you hadn’t ovulated?!

Please don’t give up on it completely. When is your appt at St Mary’s?

I have had bad evap lines on those tests like your test and I thought I was pregnant. Iv stopped buying them x

@got2be I’m so sorry 😢 What an absolutely headwrecking thing to go through. It must be really hard not to keep thinking about it too because it just doesn’t make any sense. You said your LH etc come back normal - have you had your prolactin levels checked? I had raised prolactin levels but the GP didn’t make a big thing of it. I’ve just been reading that it can cause one off problems with ovulation. Just thinking out loud. Hope you’re doing ok 💚

@ImpatientTTCer thank you yes head is a mess as it’s a situation I’ve never heard of before.
They said my progesterone level was 7.4 and saw a follicle of 14mm. If I didn’t chart or do okps with symptoms I’d have thought I’d gone mad.
Appointment is 4th June x
