@whambam89 I was told to check every 48 hours for an increase.

Also, my cramps were worse with Francesca than with the mmc. I was convinced we’d lost her a couple of times.

whambam89 · 24/10/2021 11:02

@Sansa87 I remember having cramps when I was pregnant with Layna and was convinced AF was arriving (I was sane then and didn't test until the day AF was due 😂) but so much has happened since then I just don't believe that this can really be it 😭

MrsB2019x · 24/10/2021 11:06

Morning girls, I haven’t been getting notifications for this thread! Popped on to see how you were all doing and clearly I’ve missed loads!

@whambam89 Congratulations!! I’d say that has definitely got darker and are good lines for how early you are! I really hope this little one has stuck in the right place, you deserve it so, so much 💕 please keep us posted!

@SS123456 Jessie is such a cutie 😍 and congratulations on your engagement! How exciting!

@Sansa87 Frankie is so gorgeous, can’t believe she is 5 months! Would you recommend that seat? Was thinking of getting Ella one in a couple of months as she’s so nosey and loves to see what’s going on at all times!

Ella is great, weeks 6-8 were really, really hard but once she hit 9 weeks things got much easier. She’s smiling loads now, I can read her cues better and we have a bit of a groove going now! She still won’t sleep anywhere other than on me/DH during the day and doesn’t stay in her bouncer/swing for more than 5/10 mins though 😂

whambam89 · 24/10/2021 11:41

@MrsB2019x she's gorgeous! 😍 Glad you're getting on ok!

I don't think I'll believe it until the line starts getting darker, dread to think how much I'm going to spend on tests 🙈

Sansa87 · 24/10/2021 12:16

@MrsB2019x Frankie still sleeps on us during the day too. It’s a battle I’ve given up on as I need her to sleep at night, which she only does if she gets her solid naps in.

She loves the chair! We found it free on Facebook. I don’t leave her unattended in it, but it’s a change of scenery for her as she hates her bouncers now as she wants to sit up all the time

MrsB2019x · 24/10/2021 16:13

@whambam89 Yeah I understand that, looks promising but after everything you’ve been through I understand why you’d want to wait a bit longer! Privileged that we all know before OH 😂

@Sansa87 Ooh yeah I’d get one off marketplace too, I saw they’re like £50 new! 😵 Glad she likes it ☺️ I made peace with contact naps as well, I was getting so frustrated with it because I couldn’t pump and would get so engorged, but now I just pump one side while holding her on the other then swap! Takes twice as long but she’s happy 🤷🏻‍♀️

whambam89 · 24/10/2021 16:48

@Sansa87 them chairs are fab, great for when you start weaning as well!

@MrsB2019x haha I had to tell someone, still undecided whether to wait until our anniversary to tell him 🙈

kirinm · 24/10/2021 18:25

Congratulations @whambam89 that looks like a fab line!

whambam89 · 24/10/2021 18:41

Thanks @kirinm I've only got the cheapies left now (more FRER on the way) so not sure when I'll test again. I'm still in denial really 🙈 how are you getting on? Xx

kirinm · 24/10/2021 18:52

@whambam89 still trying, getting nowhere! I think I'm 5dpo today so still a way of AF.

Are you taking progesterone or anything?

whambam89 · 24/10/2021 18:56

@kirinm nope they refused to prescribe me progesterone. I started using a cream from Amazon called pregnalone and have used that for the last 2 months from day of ovulation so not sure if that's made any difference! I'm also on a cocktail of vitamins though so it could really be anything x

SS123456 · 25/10/2021 04:04

@whambam89 thank you! The lack of sleep is killing me and functioning for work is a challenge at the moment. My DS is playing up at the moment too which isn't helping either. Please keep us posted on how you get on, I have all my fingers crossed for you🤞🏻🤞🏻. The 10dpo test is definitely darker though!

@Sansa87 it really is! My son had it too but he was bottle fed which made it easier to give the gaviscon. I'm struggling to give it when I breastfeed as it's a faff to make up and get Jessie to take. We bought a purflow baby nest which seems to help with the sleep a bit but I feel your pain as we spend most of our time holding or rocking her! I start my days at 2.30am every day so by the time I get the laptop out to start work I've been awake for hours! 🙈

@MrsB2019x thank you! I can't believe Ella is sleeping through, that's amazing! 😁. Any tips?!

@kirinm I'm glad you are doing ok 😊

I'm insanely still bleeding nearly 9 weeks after having Jessie which is really getting to me now. They did a swab at my 6 week check which came back with an infection (I had no other symptoms) so I had a 5 day course of antibiotics but I'm still bleeding. I am meant to be having a scan at some point to check for retained placenta but 3 weeks on and I still haven't got a date for it

MrsB2019x · 25/10/2021 04:53

@SS123456 She has only done it twice haha, she is a good sleeper though and generally only wakes up once during the night for a feed. The Love2Dream swaddle suit seriously changed our life!! We tried her without it the other night in preparation for when she starts to roll and we were still up at 1am so swiftly went back to it 😂 maybe worth a try with Jessie?
I have only just stopped bleeding at 11 weeks PP, I got sent for an ultrasound yesterday and she said there’s no retained products but there are still pockets of bleeding that haven’t come away yet so there’s more to come 🙄 she described it as ‘hormones at large’ … hopefully it’s the same for you too, definitely worth chasing it up with your GP though

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 07:42

@MrsB2019x @SS123456 another vote for the love to dream swaddle bags, DD slept through from 5 weeks and I'm sure this had something to do with it! Mrs B, I think it's tommee tippee that do ones where you can have arms in or out for when she starts to roll, more of a swaddle than a standard baby sleeping bag though x

kirinm · 25/10/2021 08:52

We swaddled my DD and she didn't sleep through until 2.5 years and is still pretty bad. It's safe to say we got unlucky with the sleep. But she's pretty good in every other way!

kirinm · 25/10/2021 08:52

Did you test again @whambam89 ?

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 09:25

@kirinm I haven't tested this morning but did test with a cheapie last night.. I think it's getting darker but still not wanting to get my hopes up 🙈 I'll probably test with a cheapie again later while I wait for the FRERs to arrive. I started a new job 3 weeks ago which I'm not enjoying at all and now I'm stuck here for the next 7-8 months if all goes ok 😂

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 10:18

@SS123456 at what point did you ring your clinic after you got your positive? I know you said they prescribed progesterone and I'm not sure if it's worth me informing them / trying to get something sorted

kirinm · 25/10/2021 10:32

They're definitely getting darker! Fingers crossed this is it for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

SS123456 · 25/10/2021 10:32

@MrsB2019x fingers crossed she does it again soon 🙈😂. I did try Jessie in the swaddle bags I bought but she is so in love with her hands I think it stressed her out not having access to them 😂. I am now using the gro bag ones with her arms out which she seems to like more. I think it is the reflux that is affecting her as she hates being on her back. Oh wow 11 weeks that's crazy! I hope it stops for you soon! I think I'll likely have the same outcome as you as they did check the placenta and said it looked whole

@whambam89 I really think this might be it for you as those tests look great! Let us know what the frers show when you get them. Are you going to try a digital? I told the clinic straight away as I was due to go in for fertility tests and wanted to give them notice that I would need to cancel. They picked up my email and a gp called me from there and asked me to go in the sam day and collect the pessaries so maybe give them a call at this point

MrsB2019x · 25/10/2021 10:54

@whambam89 That’s really good progression! Update us with today’s test when you do it 😍

@SS123456 Is she in a crib you can tilt a bit? Reflux must be so hard to deal with, bless her ☹️ The doctor called me today and said it looks like I have polyps so referring me to gynae 😩 seems never ending!

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 11:12

@SS123456 I finish work at 2 so will give them a call this afternoon. I'd hate to think I'd not done everything I could. I primed the FRERs but they're not arriving until Wednesday which is annoying, hopefully will see some good progression though! I'm going to get a digital later I think, just don't want to see the words not pregnant if my HCG isn't high enough yet 🙈

@MrsB2019x sounds like you've been through it post birth! Hopefully things start looking up soon. My SIL had a terrible time after giving birth earlier this year (She had retained placenta that they didn't find until weeks after but was passing huge clots because of it), and they're already trying for another! 😳

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 13:13

Update on today's test 😬

The Pact Cont - April 2021
MrsB2019x · 25/10/2021 13:41

@whambam89 Eeek! I reckon that will show up on a digital, that’s definitely darker than yesterday’s 🤩 Your SIL is mental 😟 I haven’t even DTD yet 😂

whambam89 · 25/10/2021 13:53

@MrsB2019x haha I don't blame you! Can't remember how long we left it after DD but you have to be sure that you're ready especially if you've been suffering with bleeding etc x
