Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

@LaundryForever omg that's literally the same as me!! 1st took ten months and 2nd was first time! Now I'm starting to think I'm in long haul for the 3rd!! Last month was the hardest for me as I tried so hard and was convinced it would happen but other months haven't been too bad. IV had different tactics each month 🤣🤦 trying to be a bit more laid back this month. What cd are you now? I'm cd 11 waiting around for ovulation but I have irregular and long cycles 🙄🙈 xx

Shaggathon means ovulation which is what you want and need to get your BFP. Come on, it’s your turn for the sore fajita. Mines on ice 🧊 haha
You haven’t reached your peak but it’s a start. Keep testing!!

Hello @LaundryForever and welcome!!! We are going through the same thing! I’m prob the most dramatic…. I’m only on cycle 4 and have booked an an appointment with a private consultant for august 🤣🤣 thankfully skl and nats keep me somewhat sane xx

I think it's so hard when you are sure it's happened and then AF shows 😔 I'm CD9 and already not holding out much hope!

I don't even know if it's possible with a short luteal phase 🤷‍♀️

I'm thinking it might not even work until my LO is complete weaned off nursing but they are taking their time.

@LaundryForever when do u normally ovulate? Have u tried anything to lengthen your lp? IV heard b vitamins and vitamin c may help? I usually start spotting around 10 dpo so don't know if that's stopping me 🤦 xx

It!! I am going to test in a week if I have no symptoms if AF I would be 10dpo so hopefully an early response will pick up something. But I am not hopeful for this month... don't know why just don't think this is the month xx

@Springflower3 yes I'm hoping it comes earlier than last month or I'm in for a long wait 🤣🤦 It's so hard to get the right time and when to start when u have no idea when it will happen 🙈 I feel like I should be doing something but it could be way to early. Aww we all have months like that! But u did everything u could so your in with a chance! Don't write it off just yet 🤞 xx

@Skl2021 CD13 is still pretty early for you. Don’t you usually ovulate later? I’d wait until it starts to darken and then hop on it. Like you said, don’t want to start too early, but equally you don’t want to miss it. It’s a hard one.

@Springflower3 You’re only 1 day behind my as I’m 4DPO. Nothing to report and trying to not think about it so the 2WW doesn’t drag. I mean who am I kidding?! Of course it will. I do that lovely, I think it’s protection mode after being disappointed when AF arrives. I always tell myself that my period will come cause if I thought I might be pregnant it would devastate me.

DP handed his sample in this morning so we should have the results back in 2 weeks.

@Nats7504 hii guess the gin went down a treat 🤣🙊 yes it's usually in the 20s I think the earliest IV had it was cd17 so should be way off yet. Tests seem to be getting lighter anyway 🤦 hope everything goes alright with the sample 🤞🤞 xx

How much alcohol was consumed 🤣🤣@Nats7504! Oh I thought we got our peaks around the same day? Maybe I am 4dpo??? I got my peak on Thursday.... but the app doesn't count the first day until Friday?? 🙄🙄
Well.... in 2 weeks the results could be discarded as you could have your BFP!!

Quite a bit of gin was consumed, or so my head told me the next day. 🥴 Was a struggle but we got through it.

@Skl2021 I thought so, you have a few days to go before your peak so like @Springflower3 suggested, have a normal shag and it’s win win if you’re near to peak too. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got my peak on Thursday too so maybe I’m wrong 🙈 what’s a day between friends huh 🤣 Well be testing around the same time. Surely one of us lot will get our BFP this month. We’re literally maxed out in OPKs, Lube, Vitamins and Sperm!!

Aww @Nats7504 surely one of us had to get one at some stage ffs!!!
The more I think about the appointment in august the more I am glad I made it cause if she agrees to check me over then if there are any problems I know now and if there isn’t then I know it will happen at some stage!!

@Springflower3 Nah, he’s only been sent home cause theirs a few with it in his class. His test is negative so we’re still plodding along as normal, and with him being 13 he doesn’t leave his room much anyway 🙄

The results come back in 2 weeks. Think they test a few things, like volume, deformities and if they swim in circles or forward. That’s my take on it and not the scientific one 🤣🤣 XX
