Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

Sorry for being a Debbie downer but just need to vent.
So after a mini melt down today after BFNs and I've decided if AF arrives and its highly likely she will I'm done with ttc. I know some of you out there have been trying longer and I honestly don't know how you've stayed sane but I just can't do it. I'm going to spend some time having a better relationship with myself. I'd like to stay on the group though its so inspiring hearing your stories and I'm loving the proper sex ed I get on here!!

@dob78 I totally get where your at. I'm up in top deck as can't really ttc with my stupid cycles so just focusing on me and getting fitter. Maybe in 6months time j may actually get n appointment with someone and work out what the hell is going on .

@DOB78 totally get that I had so many days where I was ready to give up in the last 16 months. It's so hard dealing with the negatives every month I think it gets harder every month. Such a good bunch here though 💕 stick around and see how you feel in a few days. Whatever you decide you'll always have a place here!

I get you @DOB78, TTC is a grind when it isn't quick or easy. It's really getting to my self-worth at the moment. There's no need to make a quick decision, just see how you go. Here to keep you company whatever you choose x

@DOB78 suddenly 10 Debbie's sit up..... 🤷‍♀️🤣 I think we've all had time we've felt like that to be honest. And many of us have dipped away from bus too on occasion, myself included. Now I like it here but mainly for the chatter. Its nice to talk to virtual friends as it were. So it'll be lovely if you stay! It feels like we are all here regardless of pregnancy and ttc and so I really don't think it matters where people are at. I get its frustrating if there seems no way forward though. I was like that before my referral. I just wanted answers! And it may be I'll never get any. I suppose everyone has a point when they've had enough? And age isn't helpful when it's not on your side. Hugs though xxx

So- asking for a friend, 😆 is a sore throat (maybe swollen is a better description. Like hurts to swallow, when glands up?) a sign of pregnancy? Or did the dentist (or hospital) give me covid/ illness?! I've been nowhere else at all and no one close to me is ill. Its just suddenly come on tonight!

Ps lol if a Debbie took offence at that compared with some of the stuff we talk about on here @DOB78!!

I’m with you there @DOB78 and @larrythelizard ttc is definitely more shit than exciting, especially when you have been trying for a long time or have had a loss. But at least we are not alone and have the bud for company. I’m probably the worst for dipping in and out but I do tend to withdraw when things are on my mind rather than talk about it.

@paintfairy don’t think it is a pregnancy symptom but I had a wretched sore throat with covid. They give you the three easily identifiable symptoms but the truth is that literally anything goes. I had none of the “big three” just sore throat, tired, banging head and eye pain. I’d probably get a test just in case especially if you are planning on going out at all this week.

@Haiyaa I wfh so it's not really an issue. Just think it's strange I've seen no one to pick anything up. And at the dentist the time was strict! Knock on locked door, Hand sanitiser, Enter room and had to gargle with disinfectant before they even looked in there, I was chucked out pretty fast (via fire exit into carpark) with more hand sanitiser! At the hospital i only saw the nurse. Got nowhere near the receptionist, and there was no one else in the waiting room. So how I've picked anything at all up I've no idea!

@DOB78 you gotta do what's best for you and big hugs, I'm the same thinking these ladies are LEGENDS for keeping going month on month, we always had "the next ivf" or were after an ivf to focus on or coming off the drugs, I think TTC "normally" is bloody draining. You all need
🥇🏆🏅🎖s and I still learn lots from here! Love the variety! We are here for you, top deck, driver and all the rest of the crazy bunch!

I always wonder about people's names on here because obviously some people use there names in their username but most don't and probably have names nothing like you would expect iykwim. Like you have sort of an impression of people but if you knew their real name it would probably be completely different to what you would expect 🤔 I remember someone saying there name in one comment because it was the same as someone else's and thinking id never have guessed that😂 don't know why!

@DOB78 sorry you are feeling so down about it all. It's totally understandable. We get it. I'm feeling a bit defeated at this stage too. Not ttc this month and it has been a good break mentally but also a bit of a funny feeling as have realised not trying is going to give me the same results as the previous 15 cycles trying 😲 depressing thought. Take your time and see how you feel in a bit x

@Minster2012 that’s true, and true to form, Karen had to go and demand the manager ref the fight (in her favour of course). In the end I heard they both agreed never to be in the same room again, it was the only way to keep the peace.

@katao agreed on the names lol, mine bears very little resemblance to what I'm actually called in 'real life' haha

@blackcurrantqueen I'm starting acupuncture this week, really looking forward to it. Is there benefits for going around period and ovulation?

Made a 13 day LP - which looking it has been the last 3 months from 12!
Now hoping I can have a bit of a heavier period than usual show my lining is doing its job..
I'm ok though, just disheartened and sore!

@Katao the blackcurrant was because when I was pregnant I was obsessed with icy drinks 😂 I guess it doesn't make me very easy to find on insta though 😂

@bez91 if your acupuncturist is anything like mine, they will talk about your goals and then the ins and outs of your cycle down to the tiniest detail. They can do different things at different points of your cycle so yes benefit can be had at ovulation etc. I had my first treatment on peak OPK day. I really felt ovulation that month and did get pregnant so I am definitely a fan. I have generally felt more “well” since starting acupuncture and although we agreed no points to stimulate ovulation etc this time, she did a reset and focused on nourishing points to optimise my body in case I do fall again. Let us know how you get on.
