@elsieg3m sorry to hear your period arrived, I had a big temp drop this morning so am expecting to join you today or tomorrow. Onto cycle #3.

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/05/2021 10:33

Has anyone had a massive temp spike before and not been poorly? I measure my bbt the same time every day didn't have disturbed sleep or anything and this morning it was 39.59!! It normally sits at 36.6 something in the Lp but this time has been around 36.7/8 today went shooting off the chart but I'm not ill or anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ probably just a random one lol

Sleeeeeepy · 03/05/2021 12:50

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks lovely, that's really reassuring. I'm so glad it has gone well for you x

ElsieG3m · 03/05/2021 13:12

@Marvellouslymadmum where are you in your cycle lovely?

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/05/2021 13:17

@ElsieG3m I'm cd24 roughly 9dpo temp is 2.5 degrees higher than it has been! So confusing

spttc · 03/05/2021 13:25

@Marvellouslymadmum that happened to me 2 cycles ago at 9dpo. Have no idea why.

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/05/2021 13:27

@spttc I'd imagine it must just be a weird temp because it's so high compared to normal!

got2be · 03/05/2021 13:38

@Marvellouslymadmum i've had that when i got bfp at 10dpo last year its how i knew i was just so hot. fingers crossed it stays high x

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/05/2021 14:00

@got2be 😱😱😱 I very much doubt that'll be what it is for me as we only dtd once in fw but you never know!

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:00

Not fully caught up yet but congrats to @Katiekattty!

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:03

Was going through my private test results ahead of my nhs fertility appointment this week and saw this AMH range info (attached). Thought it was interesting just how wide the range of “normal” can be.

I deleted you, second attachment, why are you still there?

spttc · 03/05/2021 14:12

@thislittlebird I'm having my amh test next week. I'm absolutely petrified what they will tell me. I think those there are VERY wide general ranges. If you look online they break it down further into low, medium high etc.

spttc · 03/05/2021 14:16

This is a good article on understanding AMH levels and what it means for each age group etc I was looking at earlier. So I'm ready for my results 😬

extendfertility.com/what-your-amh-level-really-means/

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:17

@spttc Yeah they do, everything I’ve seen before has been less wide but it’s useful to see what AMH falls into for most women imo. So if you’re low or high it’s probably not as unusual as we might think. PCOS can be much higher.

What’s your age again?

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:20

These scans I’m going over also tell me I have a small fibroid, a cyst, a retroverted uterus and a left ovary floating around near the “fundus” Confused. Like an alien world in there.

ElsieG3m · 03/05/2021 14:22

@Marvellouslymadmum I was like a sauna when I got pregnant with my little girl though never that high. Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you. Keep us posted xx

ElsieG3m · 03/05/2021 14:24

@Noodella18 ah hope it doesn't arrive for you but keep looking forward if it does. I felt mentally dreadful for a few days up to yesterday but much better today and trying to stay positive xx

ElsieG3m · 03/05/2021 14:27

Ps one thing I'm committing to this month is a digital detox - aside from this thread, no googling, no Instagram and no Facebook. I don't need to read negative stats or see baby announcements/advertisements or (rant) people complaining about how hard it is looking after lots of little kids. I mean I know it is but YKWIM?!

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:37

@spttc the numbers in this article are very low, seem lower than most I've seen. I can't find an article I had previously that showed low, medium, high per age range but if I can find it again I'll share.

spttc · 03/05/2021 14:38

@thislittlebird I'm 35. What will be will be. I don't get my results until the 20th May. The test is on the 6th 🙄🙄🙄

spttc · 03/05/2021 14:41

They must be using a different scale or measurement

thislittlebird · 03/05/2021 14:46

@spttc you'll probably be fine, but it worried me too when I went in in Jan and it turned out to be fine. Only benefit of the private scan is I had the results in a couple of days. Could have terrible egg quality still, but the numbers weren't bad at least.

Here is the screenshot I took and posted in a thread previously, not sure what's happened to the full article.

Found it, here's the full link for context for this study where the numbers came from www.verywellfamily.com/follicle-female-reproductive-system-1960072

Mine are higher than the numbers in this, so I think all of this is a very rough guide.

Misty84 · 03/05/2021 14:58

Hmm my AFC is ok (10 at last check) but AMH very low unfort. Got a HyCoSy tomorrow so that will tell me how my tubes are, then private consultation on Fri so will see what the chances are! Natural conception clearly isn’t working for me so feel like I have to try IVF even though typically those with low AMH aren’t predicted to respond well to the drugs 🙄🤷‍♀️
