@notyetamumbuttrying oh I must've missed it but do you know why they opted for long protocol for you?

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/04/2021 10:14

@MIW01 yes of course! I'll hopefully hear back from them about the sa Monday then see what happens from there

Motherofkittens28 · 17/04/2021 10:35

Happy Saturday everyone! I have freshly done hair and go to retry my wedding dress this afternoon. Fingers crossed still like it! Nice to have something non ttc to think about!

Aimzie · 17/04/2021 11:44

Sorry I havent checked in much girlies, I'm feeling so so down about this all now, cried like a baby to my oh this morning. I was like am I broken 😂 I literally try to do everything right and my 24 year old brothers girlfriend texted me yesterday, sorry about your chemical pregnancy were here for you and youl have a lovely family some day. Which was over a month ago, and then I replied thank you, its been really tough on us then she just said.. Oh I'm going through the same thing right now, we weren't even trying and we be so careful... I'm on the pill.. Etc I'm like please I don't even want to speak to you 😢 ah just one of those months again, what's the point 😭 I noticed this morning I'm spotting again, what the hell like? I'm on cycle day 9,well if that was an AF negative lh and hcg 😕

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah defo have a google of it. Yeah it is quite soon isn't it. I can't see why else my follow up would be with them and not gynae and they said when my period starts so it must be to get started with it all. Due on tomorrow and don't have my usual pains and pms but maybe I won't now I've had the surgery. 🤷🏾‍♀️ hope you get your callback on Monday.
@MIW01 good luck! When will you get results from fsh?
@Juno231 I think because my amh is low. I thought I would've had short because my afc is ok and ovulate every month but apparently not. I do feel like they're being a bit experimental with me so not expecting a lot from this round 😬
@Motherofkittens28 amazing! Have a lovely day 😊

@Motherofkittens28 how lovely❤️😘 hope you have a lovely day, I've decided to plan our wedding first too, I'm starting to feel like I've lost myself ttc😒 be nice to have something different to focus on

Aimzie · 17/04/2021 11:49

@MIW01 good luck hope it goes well.. How have you found acupuncture? 😊

@notyetamumbuttrying how are you feeling now 😘 can't believe your getting your meds so soon, soo excited for you❤️❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/04/2021 12:04

@Aimzie ok thanks. Wounds feel sore today as changed them but ok on the whole. How are you? Yeah it's madness really! They told me 2-3 months a couple weeks ago so I'm not gonna believe it's really starting until I make that call in case they tell me something else 😂

@Aimzie sorry to hear of your woes @Aimzie tbh I'd just be quite frank with her . . . I did that with my sister and she was actually very understanding! With regards to acupuncture my symptoms have actually got worse physically but I have noticed my mood is improving! So yesterday was a horrific day physically with AF which hasn't been this bad in a long, long while, but mood wise I was actually feeling pretty good! Which is really odd cause usually I want to kill everything and everyone in sight!

Aimzie · 17/04/2021 12:57

I know i was nearly a bit shocked, like she had me on WhatsApp and said oh my Snapchat locked me out I wanted to text you, my OH was fuming he's not to fond of her anyway lol I just ended up not replying after a few messages, she's with my brother about 6 months and she's only 21, so I just don't feel like making a connection with her or talking to her about it.
Atleast it's helping your mood, ❤️ hopefully the increase of symptoms is from good blood flow from the acupuncture. I usually go for my knees with my training but she always does my hands and head and feet, it helps my mood too but I'm thinking of looking into it for fertility, I just don't want to be spending more if it doesn't really help lol I'm getting all stubborn with ttc this month 😂 I keep saying il forget about it and still do my temps and opks religiously

@notyetamumbuttrying glad your on the mend ❤️ sooner the better. Hopefully it goes well for you 😘

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/04/2021 13:06

@Aimzie sorry hun, I missed your initial post. Shit situation with your brothers gf. I think you're right to just ignore her for now. See how you feel in a few days. You have your appointment in a few weeks don't you. Hopefully you'll get some answers and tests underway to help matters. And thank you 😘

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/04/2021 13:19

@Motherofkittens28 good luck for the wedding dress fitting today! Definitely nice to have a distraction

@Aimzie I really do feel for you, I've had two of these cycles where I just don't know what's going on, one lasted 60 days and the other 57 and all the time I thought I could be pg it's just so disheartening! Hope you feel better soon, I would ignore her too!

@notyetamumbuttrying I had a read last night and alit if it does sound familiar! Since I came off the pill my af have got more and more painful and now I cramp so badly from a day before until a few days in I have to take two kinds of painkillers to ease it and it hurts every time I even sit down! I thought it was just period pain 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'll deffo mention it to the doc but I think she thinks I'm just a pain now lol

Aimzie · 17/04/2021 13:24

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah our appointment is this Thursday ❤️ so glad we'll have answers in a few weeks then I think it takes them about 2 weeks after the initial tests to call us 😊

@Marvellouslymadmum I know I really hate cycles like this and my temp didn't even drop until 2 days ago so I really had my hopes up, it just really puts a downer on it. Part of me just wants to drink wine for the whole month now 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/04/2021 14:12

@Marvellouslymadmum sounds like what I had too. That coupled with painful deep sex and discomfort after sex was enough for them to do it. It was found in 3 places and I had 2 adhesions on my ovary. They also unstuck my bowel from somewhere, which makes a lot of sense as I always went often (at least twice a day), they all said ibs, as those symptoms present the same so don't let them fob you off. 😘

@Aimzie nice to have timelines isn't it. Hope it all goes well for you ♥️

@notyetamumbuttrying I do wonder about my bladder. 🤣 Kind of in the same way. Like sometimes I can't hold it and need to go every 5 minutes but then it turns out I don't. Or I really do. Feels the same. I go through phrases of being really bad. And other times I can hold it for forever and I'm surprised I haven't needed to go? So I wondered if that was somehow 'stuck'? Suppose it could be unrelated. But I feel my pain in slowly getting worse month by month too after coming off the pill. I was on it for like 20 years. I kind of wish they'd look?
@Aimzie I wouldn't entertain her either! How rubbish for you. 😔

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/04/2021 22:19

@Aimzie I always get my hopes up even though it's been forever I still can't help but have that bit of hope!

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you, I'll definitely speak to them about it. I just always thought it was also associated with a lot of bleeding but reading up it says it can but not necessarily and mine have become heavier and very clotty recently which is also a sign apparently. It said it's very common for it to
Stick organs places and can even go as far as the lungs or cause pain in the ankles!! I was pretty shocked lol

@paintfairy thts how I feel like every month they're getting worse 🤷🏼‍♀️

paintfairy · 17/04/2021 22:25

@Marvellouslymadmum I think what makes me wonder is how bad mine were before I went on the pill at 15. I remember just passing out on a bench in florida on holiday at a restaurant. And missing the nasa place because I slept in the car in the car park. It really was horrendous. I used to cry every month about going to school. Mum would make me try and they'd always send me home. Painkillers didn't touch it. So I'm better now compared to that! But...... ? Its frustrating they don't readily look into it?

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/04/2021 22:33

@paintfairy to be honest mine were never that bad when I was younger, after I had my daughter I had the implant and they started to get very bad then but they just put me on the pill, so I'd been on that for over 10 years and it wasn't until I came off 3 years ago that they've just gradually got worse and worse, it's become so painful I'm taking two types of pain relief and it's still hurting, just less than it does without. I'm also getting cramps and pain in my back for most of the month! It seems from what I've read that they don't really look into it much as there's no other way to tell than a laparoscopy so I'm guessing they just don't want to drag everyone off for surgery unless they complain!

MIW01 · 17/04/2021 23:37

@paintfairy that's awful and I think something needs to change with endo women shouldn't have to put up with that crap

Motherofkittens28 · 18/04/2021 09:46

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying, @Aimzie and @Marvellouslymadmum! I now have bought my dress! Luckily she said she won't measure me for the body fitting until 3 weeks before the wedding so if I do get pregnant hopefully it won't be a problem (I'd only be 10 weeks anyway)

Marvellouslymadmum · 18/04/2021 12:36

@Motherofkittens28 oh that's so exciting! Are you getting excited about it all now?

We have both just started divorce proceedings against our ex partners, it's been over 6 years we've both been separated from them and over 5 years together but it's just never been a monitory priority. We've decided it's time now.

RobinRose · 18/04/2021 13:29

@Motherofkittens28 I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by! How exciting you have picked your dress! We're not even close to planning our wedding 😩

@Marvellouslymadmum I have noticed a big difference this month, minimal cramping, doesn't seem to be as heavy or clotty (sorry tmi) i still had cramping around ovulation and a few days before af but will continue to take it! Do you know how long the divorce proceedings will take?

Marvellouslymadmum · 18/04/2021 13:47

@RobinRose was that the b6 you think is helping I can't remember 🤦🏼‍♀️

I think around 6 months to be totally done which isnt too bad

Aimzie · 18/04/2021 15:22

Ended up in out of hours gp yesterday, i had a small ruptured cyst, and then a uti 😂 apparently the cysts from pcos could have explained the faint tests 😐
Now on antibiotics, well atleast I've got answers from this last cycle!!! Thought my appendix was going to explode yesterday but it was just the cyst and that's what the spotting was yesterday morning

kerrym87 · 18/04/2021 15:41

@Aimzie sorry to hear that! At least you have an answer now, didn't realise you were in pcos camp too!
