@polejunkie yeah think I stopped after a year too. That was around the time we got the male factor diagnosis so thought defo no point anymore! Turns out I was broken too so there was defo no point 😂
One more week is ok, feels weird actually counting my days again but with the endo cleared away and the sperm all good, I'm far more hopeful now!
@paintfairy not too long to wait then really, we'll all be rooting for you!
@Crazydoglady123 ah good going!! You got your favourite meal all picked out then?
@got2be ah thank you 😊 how's things with you?

OP posts:
paintfairy · 29/04/2021 15:30

@notyetamumbuttrying no its not, but at the same time- I kind of don't want to know?! Which is ridiculous.
@Crazydoglady123 I can't ever imagine feeling that sick. Not wanting to eat might help me - struggling to diet. 🤣 But my stomach hasn't been right since the beginning of my drugs and its nothing like yours, so I can see why you would be bad. You know when its just not right? Random pains, suddenly needing to go to the toilet, bad wind etc. The progesterone when I trialled it made me constipated but so far that hasn't happened yet this time. I've not had other drugs for a week though and I'm still not right. I've got stomach ache now! And craving salty food. 🤣 So if I have to go straight into another cycle of it, I can't say I'm thrilled to be having to carry on feeling crap. I at least haven't felt sick though. You must be looking forward to wanting food again!

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 15:35

@paintfairy I know what you mean because for now you can live in limbo land which is sometimes quite nice. So totally get what you mean there! Rubbish you've got stomach ache, hope that eases for you.

To echo what @Crazydoglady123 said to @Aimzie it’s definitely a good start that you now know there’s a problem and can work towards fixing it.

@notyetamumbuttrying I had pizza and beer a couple of days ago too! Was ordered pizza express and it was very good.

So I just had an update. I sent a PALS letter moaning about how long we’ve had to wait etc and the hospital called my husband today while I was on a call. They’ve moved us from gynaecology on the 17th May to fertility at another hospital on 6th May. So we have our first appointment next week Grin

Wish I’d complained earlier honestly but it’s moving now, which is good. They said we’re going for diagnostics and to bring all our results along. And it’s a face to face appointment!!! The lady on the phone said she was concerned seeing gynaecology was just another stage we don’t need to do.

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 17:07

@thislittlebird yayyyyyy at guys is it?? The lady on the phone was right! Sod gynae when fertility is what you need! If it's guys they're joint so you should be able to chat with gynae relatively easily once you get into fertility! So happy for you 🥲 see complaining works 🤪

got2be · 29/04/2021 17:16

@notyetamumbuttrying
After hsg was 5 days late, assumed it was because of late ov, but had a few faint lines then had the heaviest but shortest af.
Feeling a lil deflated but cd4 and trying to throw as much positivity towards this cycle

thislittlebird · 29/04/2021 17:22

@notyetamumbuttrying No it’s at Queen Mary in Sidcup which I was not expecting. Didn’t realise they had much over there now. I wonder if it’s done by location? No idea why it’s not Guys.

Complaining definitely works but it’s annoying you have to. Shame I didn’t do it weeks ago but at least it’s done now.

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 18:38

@got2be ahh it's all you can do isn't it ♥️
@thislittlebird oh right, yeah could be location or space. Yeah at least it's done now! X

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 18:46

@got2be definitely keep us updated as that would be a whole lot easier!

@polejunkie I was really badly sick with my son when I was pregnant and had an itchy rash from head to toe! With my daughter - nothing! I was slightly nauseous a couple of times and that was it, totally different

@Crazydoglady123 must be driving you crazy not being able to eat properly! At least you'll be able to again soon

@thislittlebird that's fantastic news! So pleased they're fully looking at things for you. I was born in that area where your appt is too, my grandparents lived in sidcup

paintfairy · 29/04/2021 19:13

@thislittlebird I'm glad you are finally getting somewhere!
@notyetamumbuttrying yeah I guess because not knowing doesn't mean anything either way. God my stomach ache was worse this afternoon. Not helped by my back hurting too (that's from riding yesterday). I can't decide what pain is coming from where! I'm going to ask if this is normal when I go back. They'll likely say yes but it's not fun at all!

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 20:45

@paintfairy yeah exactly. Oh gosh, sorry you're in the wars hun! 😔 when are you going bk or is it not booked yet?

OP posts:
paintfairy · 29/04/2021 22:08

@notyetamumbuttrying no, you have to call on cd1 and see if they can fit you in that month. So no idea. I spend most the time having no idea about anything. 🤣

MIW01 · 29/04/2021 22:12

@Annny27 "Eeyore endo aboard the infertile donkeys bus!" Speaking of @notyetamumbuttrying @Juno231 I'm a bit late boarding the endo bus but I had my appointment today and been referred for a lap fpr suspected endo ... we're going to try that before IVF and if it is endo hope that sorts it! We're really fortunate there's only a 2 month wait in our area

Some other great news is my last FSH was 5.2!

Those with MFI - my dp is now:
Count 38.1 mil
Motility 49%
Morph 4%

Those asking about food - keto really helped my ME symptoms but I've been on a permanent diet for years and still ended up with T2 diabetes. I've been eating all the right things in the right amounts and moving as much as I can recently but somehow still gained. I very much think stress is a major factor when it come to fat storage and I think that's my main thing. We don't drink or smoke. I cook from scratch, buying mostly organic and local. I've tried all sorts, including intermittent fasting and am yet to find anything sustainable.

@thislittlebird @Marvellouslymadmum I was born in Queen Mary Hospital in Sidcup! Small World!

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 22:15

@paintfairy standard stance for ttc I find 😂

OP posts:
notyetamumbuttrying · 29/04/2021 22:21

@MIW01 hey fellow donkey 🐗 great news you're on the list for the lap and that your fsh is better! Great news on the male factor stats too! Once the endo is cleared away, hopefully natural happens, that's what I'm hoping for us! Sorry to hear you still got diabetes, but great you've managed a good diet for so long 👍🏾

kerrym87 · 30/04/2021 06:22

@MIW01 thats great! I went straight to fertility but our gynae and fertility clinic seems to be interchangeable and the doctors work on both so it works quite well.

crazycatlady1981 · 30/04/2021 07:39

@MIW01 that’s a great FSH and SA is looking good too! 😊 glad that things are finally moving for you!

@Crazydoglady123 good luck with your scan today! 🤞🏻 Hope you have lots of lovely large follicles!!

@Juno231 sorry to hear that the lap was an ordeal! Hope you are feeling much better now!

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/04/2021 09:02

@kerrym87 same as my hospital! Only downside was that my follow up appointment was call the Ivf nurses to get started so never got a proper follow up.
@Crazydoglady123 good luck for the next scan!
@crazycatlady1981 how are you lovely?

Aimzie · 30/04/2021 10:09

Ladies just wondering what supplements your OHs are on to help sperm production :) had a look and only found a couple, my google search has gone from me to all about sperm 😂😂😂 never ending

Annny27 · 30/04/2021 10:17

@aimzie mines on wellman conception. Probably not the best one but easy to find and improved his morphology by 4%!

Aimzie · 30/04/2021 10:22

@Annny27 thank you :)
I seen that Fenugreek & maca root & Ashwaganda was good too might see if I can get some of those and then just one of those basic ones that has a few vitamins in it. He already takes vit D, fish oils, coq10 & cod liver oil and a load of other ones for heart health etc 😊 hell be sick of them all 😂 has to be done tho :)

MIW01 · 30/04/2021 10:28

@Aimzie I put mine on
Conceive Plus Motility support
Magnesium
D3 + K2
Folic Acid
CoQ10
Maca
Ashwaghanda
Vedic Good Night

Motherofkittens28 · 30/04/2021 10:31

@Aimzie mine is on black maca root, dha, and zita west vitamen. You need to ensure he is getting zinc!
@Crazydoglady123 good luck with the scan today, hopefully full steam ahead for Monday!

@Juno231 so sorry to hear about your bad lap experience. I always used to get super nauseous from general anesthetic so now I tell them they need to load me up on anti sickness meds with the GA, even so I still needed an extra anti sickness injection as soon as I tried to eat anything.

Aimzie · 30/04/2021 10:36

Thank you
Oh yeah he takes magnesium & zinc every night @Motherofkittens28 thanks 😘
Best of luck today @Crazydoglady123 il be thinking of you ❤️

notyetamumbuttrying · 30/04/2021 11:10

@Aimzie mines takes proxeed plus, it's pricey though! £30 a month. He also takes vit d when I remind him 😅 get him eating plenty of oranges/satsumas/tangerines as vit c is important too.
