Had a nose bleed today ladies, first one since I was a child. Feel wiped out even though I had good sleep this weekend. If it wasn't for my lap and my period, I'd be thinking I was pregnant 🤪 started on the opk's this morning. Should be ovulating weds or thurs so last one before injections start. Praying they don't affect implantation and I get the miracle bfp before ivf truly starts 🙏🏾

@Juno231 ah that's it! Must be a Tuesday thing, mine was on Tuesday lol! I got my text at midnight the night before! Nice and last minute of course.

@Annny27 totally understand how frustrating it is with the family falling pregnant so quickly! Sil has a 7 month old and we think she's pregnant again, I nearly cried when my sister said that!

@notyetamumbuttrying I got nowhere 😑 phoned up and got told my doc is on emergency holiday for a week! I've booked an appointment for Tuesday when she's back but don't know if I should've just spoken to a different doc now?! Having to explain it all again is a nightmare but fresh eyes could be good 🤔 it would be a male doctor which could be a plus or a minus I just don't know what to do now!

Here's hoping for your miracle bfp before ivf though, it would be amazing!

@Juno231 yeah our timelines were very similar! I was told I'd only get contacted if the test was positive, otherwise no news is good news. As bad as it sounds - I'm really excited about tomorrow? Most exciting going on in my life lol. I'm also really looking forward to catch up on some reading.

@Marvellouslymadmum oh that's frustrating! Yeah not sure what to suggest is best there. Could go either way right! Thanks, wouldn't it be something!! Not feeling massively hopeful with the low amh situ but then I have a decent amount of follicles so guess anything's possible right 🤷🏾‍♀️
@Juno231 babe you tagged yourself 😂 I was excited about it too! I was buzzing to be pain free and also hopeful that it would mean natural would work. Yeah same here with the only exciting thing happening and the reading. I managed half a book!

Morning all, just back from my endometrial scratch, just as horrid as the first one! At least I feel like I'm on my way for this next cycle now. Nurse planning appointment is tomorrow to go through all the drugs then its just waiting for my next day 1. I haven't had my normal ov pain but did feel a bit funny last night so maybe this is my new normal post lap! I'm now day 16 and I always come on on day 27 these days so guess if I was going to ov its probably happened by now!

@Motherofkittens28 ugh I'm so pleased I didn't have that. I hated when I they measure your uterus when you have a coil and you don't even need a full bladder for that. Pleased you're through it though. Thank you, I'm really nervous today 😬

@notyetamumbuttrying remind me how many follicles you have and AMH? this is my last natural month too - it's all kicked off at the same time for a few of us hasn't it! I'm just waiting for AF and then CD 21 to start down reg... It feels like ages still. Other than bloods on weds, it's just a 'nothing' few weeks for me, yawn!

@notyetamumbuttrying think I'll leave it for today and see how I feel. Got them to email all my blood results for the last few months - there's loads 😂 most of it makes sense but I have some that's all just gobbledegook to me! Will be consulting dr google this afternoon!
I read something the other day that said amh and afc only really any use for ivf, due to the response to stims and how many eggs get collected! it means nothing when it comes to trying naturally (unless it's 0) as it tells you about your ovarian reserves and as long as you have eggs you have a chance naturally! There's no way of telling egg quality but we are all doing all we can to help that so I think it's definitely a positive thing and any with a low amf have just as much chance naturally as anyone else 🤞🏻

@polejunkie 12 follicles but amh is 5.4!! Just finished AF so waiting on cd17 as I have short cycles. Meant to hear from drugs company tomorrow then can start injecting week after.

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm 12 too with AMH of 7.6 - how are you feeling about the injections?

@polejunkie did they comment on your amh being lower? Mines so much lower, so odd! Feel fine at the mo, got a podgy belly so should be ok 😂 haven't watched the video yet, waiting for the drugs to come and will watch it whilst I can see them so that I can visualise better. How about you?

@Marvellouslymadmum hm to add to the AMH bit though - if it's low it definitely should prompt you to seek out IVF if you don't conceive within the first 6 months yourself. It basically means you're subfertile then and wouldn't want to waste time if your reserves are running out.

Eg my consultant wanted to know what my AMH was like to see if we needed to accelerate IVF and skip out on waiting until the 2 year mark as time wouldn't be on my side.

@notyetamumbuttrying they did say it was low and she said she was surprised I had as many as 12 follicles... but that the number was irrelevant as it's about quality etc etc... I've been ignoring the needle side of things as it's ages away for me really, I won't be down regulating for another month or so and that'll be for 2-3 weeks so my jabs are a fair way off. I'm just getting nasal spray to start, although I think all of my meds will come at the same time...? What have you been taking thus far?

Definitely watch the vid when you have them in your hands, it will make so much more sense - will you try the ice cube trick to numb slightly or just go for it and see what the initial one is like? Might need to get myself some belly fat hahaha

Just manage to get through to the fertility clinic and I have an appointment with the specialist on the 5th may so next wednesday :D

Obviously it will just be to put me on the list for surgery but atleast it will be a start!

@notyetamumbuttrying we have tried naturally this month, we missed the fertile window last month because of when thr lap was. Would be unbelievable to get pregnant this month, but I not holding my breath!
@polejunkie day 1 should be the 8th May, helpfully a Saturday so I guess I'd have my baseline scan on the Monday and start stims from there. I'm expecting egg collection and potential embryo transfer to be last week of May.

I spoke to the gp again today, still in pain!😩 They have requested an emergency scan so should be seen on the next couple of weeks...

I didn't realise there are 'Accredited Endometriosis Centres' .... I'm going to be asked to be seen at one after my scan, (my hospital isn't one)don't think you can change if it is an emergency.

My left ovary is annoyingly sitting on top of my uterus. She said she hopes it moves before EC 🙏🤞
