No, we're taking this month off ttc @notyetamumbuttrying it's been nice not having to wonder what cycle day I am and when to dtd 🤦🏻‍♀️😬 and they cycle is flying by!

@Annny27 yes a surprise line on a cheapie test on Monday 😮! I was in a down mood all weekend feeling cramps thinking AF was coming too.

I didn't want to jump in and post here straight away as I know no one here is having an easy time TTC and nobody likes fertile unicorns (but that still isn't me surely as it took 15 months??). Very early days yet but 🤞 hopefully some of you ladies will be getting some good news soon too! I have a good feeling.

@paintfairy when is testing time... 12 days from today? Not sure if it's the same length as you would wait from ovulation or sooner? Ohh I hope it does it but more chances coming at least if not!

@venusstarr yep pretty sure it's the same thing just hsg uses an oil based liquid and hycosy is water based I think :) I am anticipating it to be painful:S but hopefully I am pleasantly surprised haha 😂

@Annny27 I had a hsg last month. I can honestly tell you shaving is a waste of time. I felt unappreciated! 🤣 The procedure was better than I thought though. Try to relax and keep breathing, distract yourself. I had a tiny bit of cramping but it was over fast and really nothing compared to af. Its a really specific cramp if that makes sense? As opposed to your whole uterus. I was dreading it but it wasn't that bad at all.
@2020mission they said to test when my period is due if it doesn't come. Usually you can do it as normal but I had a hcg trigger so that can give false positives. You can use an ic though every day and test that out, so you'd know in that case. So you might be able to work it out earlier. I'll be using progesterone though so I need to know if I am so i know if to carry on with that! And it'll delay AF too so that won't tell me anything either, as it won't come when it's meant to. It didn't last time I trialled progesterone. A long 2 weeks!

Still no news from my fertility nurse about when we are starting! 😔 I’ve got a telephone appt with her next Tuesday so I’m wondering if she’s going to wait until then to tell me! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Went to the Dr's, They said the side my pain is on is very tender (it hurt!) so they need to rule out appendicitis soo ended up in A&E (not how I planned to spend my Wednesday evening). I don't have appendicitis and they said I should speak with gyne so I am going to call gp tomorrow and pushrod get referred to gyne. Something isn't right

@RobinRose what a mare, I hope you’re ok? Hopefully you get some answers tomorrow - keep pestering if you have to x

@polejunkie yep we’ve done everything except for injection training! Appt is on cd13 so only a week before injections would start so I think it would probably be too late by then to arrange to start this cycle.

@RobinRose oh that’s awful! Hope you get to speak to gp tomorrow and get some help!

@VenusStarr yeah I bet! We've not done it in over two weeks now due to the lap and period. Might end up being three if we go into next week. Not really up for it at mo, as still healing but reckon I will once my period ends. Intrigued to see if I still get my discomfort after sex (and sometimes during).
@2020mission defo ok to post about a bfp on here if you've been ttc longer than 15 months! Bloody good going hun, here's hoping it creates a domino effect!

Question for any ladies that take BBT - does anyone's temp jump back up as soon as their period finishes? Mine drops right down during period but shoots up immediately after, every time?

@notyetamumbuttrying I think you escape the complicated pen with menopur. Instead I think that's the one you have to mix the solutions.

Did my second dose of stims last night and had the worst nights sleep waking up with hot flushes and feeling sick. You know when you get the watery mouth before being sick, I've got that 😔 Read up on Ovaleap side effects and nausea is a common one...great!

@Crazydoglady123 glad to hear you are managing with the pen! Hopefully you're funding it easier each time? I have it again this time, but with the addition of a bunch of other stuff.

@Motherofkittens28 yeah it's been okay apart from feeling sick now! I was going to ask you, I've been storing the pen in the fridge with the cartridge in it and getting it out 15mins before hand. Is that right?

@Crazydoglady123, @notyetamumbuttrying I have both the ovaleap pen and the menopur this time. I think I had the menopur when I froze my eggs all those years ago do hopefully it all comes flooding back! Not good that it's making you feel sick @crazydoglady123, I don't think I got any side effects from mine so it must be the luck of the draw. Hope it gets better soon!

@Crazydoglady123 I stored mine in the fridge but I didn't take it out before I used it, I don't think my nurse told me to but I have read that elsewhere. Not sure if it effects the effectiveness or its just so your not injecting cold stuff!

@Motherofkittens28 thank you. I don't think it affects the effectiveness but it says injecting cold solution can cause discomfort on the instructions booklet and to get it prior and bring it up to room temperature

@notyetamumbuttrying I've got some frer in the drawer that I bought when I tried progesterone. 🙄🤣 So yes I'm well prepared. I think I've some ICs too. Need to check.
@MIW01 I had to go back and check mine. Most cycles I only tracked part after I knew what I was looking for. Mine would hop up around day 6 for only a day or 2? But only a bit- not a massive spike?
I've taken mine this morning to see if i thought I ovulated, even though I haven't tracked. Because I know where it should sit. I think I have anyway.
