Don’t fear Boris, it will be outside, socially distanced at various points of the UK & Ireland (other parts of the globe may attend), whatever the 🌞❄️⛄️we are up for it & often the sperm & 🥚stay apart at our gatherings too, even though we don’t want them too 🤣.

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Interesting, so based on ovulation static which was actually on the 3rd my DD is Boxing Day I'm with you on the inconvenient dates 💓@2020mission but I don't care 🤣

@paintfairy that does seem a bit bizarre but on the soerm thing do you mean only 2 days waiting for your eggs or 2 days that you've abstained then DTD to get them to wait? But it's on it's on you are triggered to get them out! So they do that exactly 36 hours before for an ivf cycle so that's when they expect you to ovulate

@Minster2012 the sperm won't have had 2 days to build up. Only a day and a half. As my appointment is first thing tomorrow.

@Asthenia I know it’s so hard haha I’m 11 weeks so just over another week to go until my scan then hopefully I can share my news.

@Minster2012 unsure when bloods will be back, will check online at the end of the week then wait until my phone app in May to discuss results of those (21 day) day 2-5 and my vag scan 🤦🏼‍♀️

@paintfairy they're still washing it though right? So still good swimmers at the ready - I don't think half a day would have made much difference to the quality. Can't believe how chaotic that process sounded though lol.

@Juno231 yes they wash it and put the best ones in. So hopefully be ok. As for the rest- yeah, doing this to anxious people is never ideal! 🤣 I think its hard to predict though. With ivf they control literally everything with meds but with this they've got less control and anything could happen? Your body is in control. Maybe they are used to it? But it does make it hard for us- good job we are wfh! Last minute madness.

Having day 21 bloods done fri and whatever other bloods they can do to check if Alls ok.

@paintfairy I hope all ok, it sounds like a long and stressful process but I guess the positives are that things are on the move and being done! It’s only a matter of time!

@paintfairy does your OH have a problem with the sperm? If not it should be fine, I mean, DH & I shagged at least once a day throughout seemingly when I ovulated & it worked! And if they wash and get the best ones?

@BlondePotter yes I used a digital once with the last chemical and it was showing 1-2 weeks then. I'll give it a good few days before trying another test. I'm guessing as I didn't track with OPKs this month but I think I'm at 13 DPO today based on my usual ovulation days so the weekend should show 2-3 you'd think?

@paintfairy I've only ever used cheap ovulation sticks and always with afternoon urine... it's meant to be clearer in the afternoons right? How annoying that they asked you to provide a sample after you had been to the toilet, would have been good if they started with it! It is frustrating you won't get 48 hours for the sperm to replenish but I'd try not to worry if they are confident it will be fine 🤞 so many people conceive DTD every day so hopefully there isn't much difference.

@minster2012 its 1st bloods to check all. Day 21, thyroid, hba1c (diabetes) etc. Gona ask about low dose aspirin (I'm gona take what u sent) but ask about options to help me.
Feeling way more positive since stopping charting everything. The only thing I'm watching is rhr as it's on fitbit but im sleeping better (was waking at same time to take bbt) no opks nothing. Just b4 and after ovulation my nipples were mad sensitive. They havent been that sensitive in a long time. Had 1 or 2 days around 7/8dpo but that was it, so hoping that's a sign I ovulated 🤞

@Minster2012 he's got low motility. Everything else OK and high count. Having said that the motility on the last one was just in the normal range. But on both the count was really high (2 days and 2.5 days abstaining) so hopefully 1.5 will be ok too! Fingers crossed. He's walking around in baggy jogging bottoms. 🤣🤣🤣
@bez91 the bloods usually take along a week. I phoned my GP after that, and they were back. May isn't too long!

@Minster2012 haha I wasn't even tempted to poas today, to be honest I've still been doing ic opks, just to see if they get stronger now after being 0% for the last 3 days...if they suddenly start getting darker then il be tempted to test lol, omg as I literally type I've looked at my opk and it's got so much darker than yesterday! Have a look?? Should I test tomorrow? Or not bother? I have 3 frers, 2 CB... @DOB78 you couldn't resist the urge then? Haha there's like 5 of us that are the 8dpo aren't there??

@2alreadywantanother really? I've only been doing opks because I read somewhere that LH strips can pick up HCG (with my dd I actually used an opk and got a strong line so rushed to chemist) and last year with my mc I actually started using opks to track my cycle and bam! Strong line and then ordered CBs, so typically they work for me but not sure many would agree to use them after you ovulated, but they are cheaper than frers 🤣 I might poas tomorrow if my temp goes up again with an ic haha but don't think it'll show much lol

@Minster2012 I did try but they just go "I'm not medically trained", then offer to message the doctor but it's pointless as they've done that 4 times already and she never got back to me 😂🙈 so I'm just going for it and will see what happens.

Ladies...I've had the call! I can start next month🥳 need to hear from the drugs company who will contact me next week then I start buserlin injections on day 17 as my cycles are short. I have a scan booked in for 17th May and she said transfer is likely to be 10 days later! I'm so nervous 😬 but excited at the same time!! Now to shift some excess weight pronto! 🤪

@paintfairy it does sound so confusing considering they're meant to be simplifying the whole process. I'm sure they know what they're doing tho even it's not coming across well.
