This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@lucyrp weirdly our dishwasher has been doing that too! I found if I stack the big plates next to the door the tablet falls onto them and then doesn't dissolve properly. So now I put the side plates at the from and the big ones at the back and touch wood so far it's been great!

@lucyrp yes like @Kirky658 said it could be that and it's hitting something big when it's being dropped.

I had a call from the doctor's yesterday to finally book in another blood test... On 30th 😂 I did think these were supposed to be in the same cycle as I had the last one on 24th March. I mean, I've not come on yet (currently on CD 44) and I still might not before the appointment but it still seems late. The crazy part of my brain is hoping that I'm pregnant and it'll show on the blood test 😂

@lucyrp have you tried just throwing the tablet in the base of your dishwasher? The tablet door might be popping open too late in the wash

@lucyrp either the rotating arms were blocked by the washing or it's not filling up water wise? Do you clean your dishwasher regularly and use dishwasher salt to prevent limescale buildup?

@Crazydoglady123 aw what cuties! I spent my Sunday with my friend and her two sausage dogs, they're so cute.

@Asthenia did you say you only DTD once and it was five days before O? (sorry if I'm confusing your story with someone elses) - if so it will be interesting to see if it's a girl in line with the shettles method!

@lucyrp I agree with @Juno231 maybe run a really hot wash with cleaning tablets or soda crystals or bicarb of soda (basically cleans everything!) in it to try clean it out & clean down all sides of the doors & the filters. If I don't clean mine every 6 weeks or so it gets that horrible "not clean build up" on the stuff

@Franklydear I agree with DH, sane wife sane life 🤣happy music or upbeat music I like basement jaxx and it always make me think of summer

@InkyPaper did you query the bloods? What did they say, so annoying, I feel we have to constantly battle

My GP prescribed me a week of blood thinners yesterday so got those & waiting to hear if they will do them longer, I hope so 🤞🏻I meet the criteria & the ivf consultant said previously there's no harm but then in an email to my doctor he put he would only advise for an "assisted pregnancy" not natural so I'm fighting against his advice apparently which even the doctor said seems ridiculous 🙄see, constantly battling

@Juno321 he’s really happy and definitely relieved as I could tell he was worried about getting SA results incase it was a problem. We’ve agreed to try and not get too excited as we’ve had chemicals before so we’re by no means safe.

I’d like to remind everyone that my due date is sitting at 1st January so you’ll all be far better off conceiving in the coming cycles for a February/March due date 😅 rooting for you all... it’s about time after all these months/years!

@Minster2012 what blood thinners have you got? I was almost going to self prescribe low dose aspirin after the chemicals but decided against it after seeing it's discouraged before week 8 because it apparently can hinder implantation unless you do have a diagnosed clotting disorder.

@Juno231 @Minster2012 so my app is telling me I ovulated on 7th April, which seems pretty conclusive as my temp shot up on the 8th. We last DTD on Good Friday 2nd April late at night and didn’t do it again as we were too knackered/semi taking a month off! I thought it was 3 days that sperm could hold on...my pregnancy app is telling me my due date is 25 December but Fertility Friend says 23rd. It’s all a bit confusing re dates because I don’t know if you count the pregnancy from the day you had sex (easy to identify here) or the day you ovulated?!
If by day you had sex, I’d be 5 weeks on Friday. If by ov, I’ll be 4 weeks tomorrow...it’s a minefield!

@Minster2012 ah I know I'm ridiculous only 7dpo! I just couldn't help myself the hormones made me do it🤪

@asthenia it's from conception - ie ovulation date. So whatever FF is saying is probably more correct if it knows by your temp when you ovulated. Swimmers last for 5 days!

@Vil10 yeah I'll attach the photo. It was a cheapie first and when I saw the faint line on that the only other test I had was a digital in the cupboard from ages ago so I used it to confirm. The cheapies alone feel untrustworthy! It proves these pink cheapies are decent enough though since it's showing early even if faint.

@Somatronic glad the colposcopy went well. That's good news about the clinic. After everything I went through I think everyone on Clomid should be monitored (scanned).

@paintfairy good luck with your scan today. Hope you're not in too much pain with your tooth!

@Minster2012 I'm pleased your doctors are helping you and MASSIVE CONGRATS ON THE HOUSE! We've seen a plot for sale right by ours with planning permission for a 4 bed house which backs onto the river. It's quite pricy for what it is but we're really tempted as we'd love to be able to moor a boat at the end of our garden and go out on our kayaks or get a jet ski.

@lucyrp have you pulled the spray arms off to see if they're blocked at all? I've had it a couple of times on works one and ended up full of food debris and stuff

honestly I've had 3 litters of pups and 2 clutches of baby lizards in my time TTC. Everything in my house is more fertile than me clearly.

@Asthenia you go from ovulation. My DS was due 13th December but was 2 weeks overdue so was induced on 27th. Spent my whole Xmas wondering if he was going to come or not 🙄 My DS is at an age where he thinks having his birthday and Xmas two days apart is great as double presents but I doubt he'll feel that way when he's an adult 🤣

@2020mission ahhhh amazing!! What a bloody good week for OG bfp's, I said the other day I hope when I'm back TTC all you lot will have pissed off😂❤️

@2020mission but what a happy new year it would be!! And that kid would have AMAZING albeit expensive parties/nights out! I've been taking 75mg baby aspirin all the way through, I have "sticky blood" which means it's more prone to clotting & ive had 2 blood clots in the past so I'm higher risk anyway, but my ivf consultant said to me (and now my GP) says there's no harm in it anyway

@Asthenia I'm doing it from the date of my last period (16th March) and then you put in your cycle length (I've only ever had one so 35/36 days & it comes out with nearly right
conceived date to my static (3rd April) & due date of 28th Dec? Cos you can never really know when you ovulated or when sperm met egg I guess but it's odd yours is sooner but I guess shorter cycles? I agree it's really confusing so @Juno231 prob right

So- I'm cd9 and went for my scan. Its all gone a bit bonkers. I usually ovulate day 11 or 12. So I did think leaving it until day 9 (after 5 days of injections) with no check wasnt ideal. 🙄 Firstly I was somehow 20 minutes late for my appointment (I'd put it in my phone wrong maybe?). You obviously go to the toilet pre-scan. Doing the scan she said oh your right ovary has been busy (first one she checked). I said too busy? She said I'm not sure yet. After that you wait to see the nurse. She then came out and asked me to do an ovulation test. I was like- how, with no wee? (Also aren't you meant to do the clear blue (pink) with fmu? I've only used the purple ones other than ICs, but you do with those?) Anyway- somehow I managed to squeeze wee out. Blank circle. Then I had to wait what seemed like ages and I could see her doing all sorts. When I went in- basically she said I've got a dominant follicle on my right at 1.7 and one on the left at 1.6. Plus other smaller ones. There is a risk of multiple pregnancy right now but obviously they do not want that to increase further! So although they could leave it until Thursday (day 11) she doesn't want to. I therefore had to inject a trigger shot and I've got to go for it tomorrow morning! I did say that we were told to dtd last night so the sperm won't even be 2 days old? She said that sometimes happens. So 🤷‍♀️
DH is now stressing his sperm will be no good. 🤣 Next time I will make sure we dtd before they say, in case this happens again. So it will be 48 hours. I probably should have predicted it this time really, but then you do as you are told? 😫 But apparently they get you to do the ovulation test prescan if you are close to that point, usually. Which makes more bloody sense! On the plus side- I can go to my dentist appointment. 🤣
