Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Oh dear haha, an embarrassing story...

I went camping a few years ago with my best friend, her partner and my (ex) partner, who I had only recently met. Middle of the night were a few wines in and was bursting for the loo so me and my friend went down to little portacabins which were down a few steps from where we were camping. Had low bat on my phone so were using no torch but just the screen light! Someone was coming back from the loos and all of a sudden flashed their torch towards us and I got the fright of my life, slipped on the step, took out my friend's feet, who then slipped down a step, caught the guy's feet and took him down too. Not only this, but I was also tipsy, couldn't breathe for laughing and bursting for a pee so... i didn't make it to the toilet! And had to go back to the tent with my wet trousers. Haha! Hope you all enjoy my misfortune! X

So after I went to the clinic today for my bloods I asked if DH could get his SA results sooner than "next appointment" as we don't know when that is - if maybe he could call them? & the receptionist said to leave it with her. DH just said "god I got such a scare when they called this afternoon" so they phoned him straightaway which is good. Results fine, similar to before, "all good". Randomly 45mins later he says "I was surprised when they asked me to donate sperm for a reduction in our treatment costs" say what? I actually thought he was saying an April's fool.
"I guess they want tall dark & handsome" 🙄🤔
He apparently said he'd discuss it with me, but he didn't ask what the reduction in costs would be! What if it's £2000 for his sperm, doubt it though 😂🤣, apparently he doesn't fancy wanking in the sterile room again for payment

Hi @Minster2012 my cycles are a bit weird! I had an ectopic a few years back and ever since they were bang on 35 days, went back to pretty much the same soon after my LO was born too but slightly more irregular. Since my MC my cycles have been 28/29 days ovulating on day 21 and with a short LP. How long are your cycles usually? That's amazing they said that to your DH haha - never heard of that!!!

You all have to watch this is my house bbc1, hilarious!!!

@minthumbugs well I don't really know about my cycles as I've been doing ivf for what seems like years (MMC & negatives & cancelled) due to chemo and so haven't really had normal periods in between. Though my last one was 37 days so I hope more like a normal one? I thought my peak day was also around CD20/21 but don't know if I ovulate or not 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ladies who use premom app, definitely sign up for their 9cyclr guarantee if you use the easy@home ovulation sticks, pregnancy tests or about to buy a new thermometer. I remember not going to sign up as I'd already been trying so long before then and 'of course it wasn't going to take me another 9 months' 🤦‍♀️ glad I signed up anways as I just hit the further 9months and got my money back £88 🥳 when it hits 9months if you're not preg you just put in your amazon order number for your strips and they refund your amazon account. I did it the other day and that's the money back in my account now. Of course I'd have liked the baby but some money back for not being pregnant at least softens the blow!

Another early start for us this morn, at least 4am is better than 1.30am this time and I've no work today so me and DS can curl up on the couch have a lazy movie day........who am.I kidding, toddlers don't do lazy days, caffeine on tap it'll need to be! 😴

@Minster2012, if you’re only CD 16 then still a bit early for ovulation if going by last cycle no? You had a lot of flashing then too if I remember so still in the game I’d say! Guess you’ll just have to keep getting that dick to cover your bases/uterus 😂 I think I’d feel weird about my DH being a donor only in so much as I’d be wondering about bumping into a child who is related to him, obviously I wouldn’t know so would be suspicious of anyone that looks like him, so freaky!

@paintfairy, I don’t think you’ll have to give up the horses. My friend regularly sees babies in the yard (they’re extremely portable!) and when they’re around horses so much surely they will develop an interest too? My DD has only seen them a handful of times but already wants to ride! Trying to avoid as it is an expensive hobby and DFIL no longer keeps them so would have to do lessons/loan. Not too worried though as I’ve told her I’d she wants to ride she needs to be confident in stroking them first, she’s such a scaredy cat 😂 think I’ve bought myself a couple of years grace.

@Haiyaa yeah I know it's early I guess, it was just that high result that got me really. Last cycle I got 10 flashing smile days and no peak so I don't want it to be that again, the flashing smiles started 2 days earlier this cycle so I hoped something different might be happening...day 5 here now of flashing smiles

@Haiyaa a bird in hand is better than two flying, the appeal was always a long shot, out of 147 last year in my county 7 were successful, unless there’s been an admin error you have very little chance, of course I would have given it with two barrels to that judge, but realistically very little chance, so we started hunting for a new school, this one offers very similar, dedicated senco, approachable headteacher, small classes, adaptations for autism and dislexia, and already working with me on those, good results gcse wise, quiet and collected school, zero tolerance to bullying, I also stalked their parents association in Facebook, they only argue about lost jumpers, the track and trace app, the test and were to get them from, mostly is chatting about very minor issues, (not my child has been attacked several times a day which might cause to lose her sight like the shitty school) I never looked at this school because I only looked at my authority ones, but it looks as good as my first choice, only difference is budget, in my first choice you can see there’s plenty of money in the budget for extras, whether I think this one is a balancing act, but that is the norm really, I am still turning in my head am I doing the right thing? but I think I am

I finished watching the surrogacy programme by the way. Some strange people in that. But it was interesting. The bloke getting in the birthing pool i think was the final straw of madness to me. She was completely naked and there's no way my dh would want to sit in my blood, I can tell you that. Let alone a stranger? 🤣

@Franklydear why does the other school have loads of money in the bank to spend on the kids? Where is that coming from? Is it not just that they actually don't spend the money which is why they have it? I'm always suspicious! The school balancing it is probably more honest.
