Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

Definitely step away from dr google @InkyPaper! Hope you hear from the Dr soon.

Nice that DH is all for it @bez91 - have you got him on the tomato supplements?!

Good luck for your blood tests @Minster2012

I'm paying for a living so much yesterday afternoon and having a busy one at work...roll on the long weekend!

notyetamumbuttrying · 31/03/2021 14:59

@Minster2012 ah ok! I remember you saying about skipping a cycle due to the second jab now. What I missed before was your high reading on cd13, what a tease your body is! I also remember you saying about waiting until the consultation for the SA now. Thanks for the jog! Yeah I think I'll either be end of April or mid May depending on what period they want to start at. Just been on hold to the gynae dept for half an hour now trying to find out when my lap will be. They told me to expect a date in two weeks...it's over 3 now! Just hope the pre op assessment still stands if it goes over 2 weeks.

@larrythelizard defo roll on the long weekend 🙌🏾

InkyPaper · 31/03/2021 15:34

@2020mission haha you're right, I should probably step away from Google!! I'm hoping the doctor will come back to me tomorrow, if not I guess I'll be chasing again next week. Yeah, it was a random point in the cycle test. That is a little odd of your GP but tbh I think the referral is the key thing. I don't know what my GP is doing with mine or if she's even started one. Perhaps the fertility clinic will repeat those blood tests?

@Minster2012 I don't even know why I googled tbh! I already knew what it would say 😂 hope your blood tests went OK

@larrythelizard I've stepped away now 😂 hoping the doctor will give some kind of update tomorrow but I suspect it's more likely to be next week or something (and that's assuming I don't end up chasing them again)

HollieL567 · 31/03/2021 16:02

I am over the moon!! Cannot believe it feel like I am dreaming. 🌈 So far so good!! The skull looks normal too she said! 💗💗 Here's a scan, hope no one finds it insensitive 💕 Thank you all so much for the well wishes!!

@HollieL567 yayyyyyy 🌈🙌🏻🥰thats fab and such good news after a rough journey, you give me hope!

@InkyPaper watch my bloods come back and say similar now. I think they were testing the same, prolactin, viral & FSH so remind me the same in a few weeks!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah no idea what is body is doing but then do we ever?? 🤣😂did you manage to get through to the gynae team I hate that waiting it's awful!

Beautiful sunshine here but I'm in a stinker of a mood I can't get out of, we saw my brother & his girlfriend & son (nearly a year old) yesterday for the first time since lockdown lifted & I think the going over of baby talk got to me, then my SIL (I call her that) handed me back a bag of clothes I sent to them last March after she phoned in floods of tears saying they weren't prepared for the baby & didn't have stuff- she didn't know that I was miscarrying at the time. She's kept the important stuff I asked her to keep for us & is gifting the rest to her friend who has just had a baby. I buy a lot of clothes 2nd hand & sell a lot of our outgrown ones so I love this the ethics etc but fir a strange reason I got all teary seeing the other vests I remember DS in being passed on as opposed used by us. I think it just brought it all back from last year then combined with my good start to the month on my OPKs then fading off I guess it's just hit a nerve.

We are also randomly forecast snow over the next 2 days wtf?

Sorry 😔

@HollieL567 aww yay so glad all went well for you and lovely scan pic.

@bez91 it is good your husband is all for it.

@Minster2012 so sorry your having a rough day and not in a great mood. Hope all went well with your bloods. We also have lovely sunshine so just trying to make the most of it before typical UK weather decides it’s winter again or something. Completely get why that would make you feel emotional, but I’m sure you’ll be the one needing baby clothes in the near future. Sorry to hear OPKs are not giving you the results you wanted either. Do you think CD13 could have been a peak?

InkyPaper · 31/03/2021 16:33

Aww yay @HollieL567!! Glad it all went well!

InkyPaper · 31/03/2021 16:35

@Minster2012 the biggest of hugs for you lovely ❤️ this TTC lark is super hard and some days are just shit ❤️

Justanothercyster · 31/03/2021 16:37

@Minster2012 sorry you're feeling crappy lovely ❤️ big hugs and lots of wine xxxx

Justanothercyster · 31/03/2021 16:38

@HollieL567 aww lovely pic! My scan date has just come through :) 26th April 🤞🏼💕

notyetamumbuttrying · 31/03/2021 17:13

@HollieL567 so pleased for you!! Will you start telling ppl now?
@Minster2012 lol no we don't! No, just had me on hold for half hour so I gave up. Will try again in the morning instead.
Ah sorry to hear you're upset, can understand why. It's sentimental stuff and timing making it feel compounded. Completely understandable xx
Yeah we've got snow for Tuesday 😆

Franklydear · 31/03/2021 17:31

@Dollybird89 Bloody hell, that's not on
@Minster2012 looks like we have a school, but not over yet, 2 different local authorities so still have to kick some ass, school is already accomodating us and very similar to my first choice so finally getting a plan, if my plan gets to completion tomorrow your mood might improve...
@Lexber the first few years are tough, but you'll figure it out, HF/LF labels are so rubbish anyway, it's about how people interpret their autism, not about how they experience it, my ds can play a concert, but he won't be able to get there by himself, he can use a 3+ meters telescope in a dome, but not tie his shoes, who gets to decide which skills are functional? the important thing is to get them whatever help they need to achieve their goals, and as an autism mum I know you'll put a good fight, with friends, the same my way or the highway, you'll find your tribe

Lexber · 31/03/2021 17:50

Hugs @Minster2012 I felt shitty the other day and just couldn't shift it xx

I know what you mean @Franklydear it's hard being a parent of a child with autism and some days she is fantastic that you'd have no clue, other days she would be centre stage star of the show, then some days she is a hermit and we don't see her and others she is so frustrated and can't get across her point she has the biggest meltdown known to man... no day is the same nor can you expect anything. I've learnt to take each day as it is and just roll with it. Luckily I'm a laid back kind of person, but I'm also the biggest advocate she could ask for and as you probably are the same, won't ever let anyone or anything stand in their way.
I feel blessed to be her mum as she brightens my day so much with her random quirks and comments she says off the cuff that are usually hilarious and she is oblivious ❤️

Awww what a beautiful scan picture - I remember over 10 years ago having my last one !
I'm excited for a new journey and to hopefully one day soon be where you are - enjoy every moment and try to relax. Easier said than done. Xx

Crazydoglady123 · 31/03/2021 17:57

@paintfairy @Minster2012 He's an older African man but he's really sweet and seems to understand the impatience of a female haha! I just hope the cyst and the two other follicles go in the next two weeks 🤞 keeping up with my acupuncture as last time they healed naturally within 4 weeks and I was doing acupuncture then so I'm not sure if that's what helped make it speedy but be Sod's law if I don't have it they'll take forever.

@Minster2012 sorry about your SIL. Sending hugs 💖

@paintfairy Re the childcare would your oh not look after said child so you could go for a ride or spend time with your horses?

@bez91 thanks not far off! Haha that's so awkward when you know someone who works in your doctors. When my coil went missing the only gynae doctor (as the female one had left) was also a male customer of mine. Was so awkward 😳

Thanks @InkyPaper. Like everyone said, ignore Google! Hopefully your doctor will shed some light.

Congrats @HollieL567 on the scan

Juno231 · 31/03/2021 18:33

@Crazydoglady123 aw I work for an African company and the warmth from colleagues can be so wonderful ❤️ glad he listened to you!

@Minster2012 big hugs to you, your feeling are totally valid xxx

@Franklydear so glad you liked the school! Score!

@inkypaper slightly elevated prolactin is fairly common and is usually due to stress I think! If it was the pituitary gland tumour (which is benign anyway) then your levels would be in the thousands from what I gather so I'm sure you're fine :)

Spent all of today cuddling a 4 month old baby and I'm surprisingly fine about it!

Franklydear · 31/03/2021 18:41

Thank you all, just thinking it a bit over as if we ask for this place we have to forgo the appeal, but so far it looks just as good and ticks all the boxes
@Lexber exactly, you do what you need to and get rewarded with nice days, I am very likely nd too, so it helps

Franklydear · 31/03/2021 18:44

To however needs cheering up, our flowers have bloomed

paintfairy · 31/03/2021 18:50

@Crazydoglady123 theoretically he would. But I'm lucky in that I start work early and finish 3ish (flexi). So I go to the horses then, which means I'm never too late back for dinner etc. DH doesn't get home until after 5, and by that time the traffic going in the horse direction is horrendous and it would take me about 40 mins to do a 13 minute drive. He needs another job! 🤣
Missing coil? What? 😵 Acupuncture sounds good though. Still unsure about the dr. 🤭

Actually when mum was having me or my brother (can't remember) she knew someone that worked on the maternity unit. When she went into labour she was there and she was like- oh I hope you have the baby whilst I'm still on shift. Mum was thinking- erm, I hope i don't. 🤣

@Minster2012 oh that sounds tough. But we are all allowed bad days. As for the weather. 🤬
@Franklydear excellent news!
@HollieL567 exciting! So glad everything is OK. Why would the skull not be normal? Have I missed something?
@InkyPaper definitely don't Google!

Well, I emailed the fertility unit earlier. Our blood tests from last week are all OK! So now I have to wait for AF and call them up. And if they can accommodate us then we can have our first IUI next cycle. Scary stuff.....

larrythelizard · 31/03/2021 19:14

Congratulations @HollieL567, lovely scan pic 💕💕💕

Big hugs @Minster2012 it's all just such a rollercoaster isn't it

Scary but exciting @paintfairy? Good that your results are all good!

InkyPaper · 31/03/2021 19:16

Thanks @Juno231 you just made me feel like a million percent better ❤️

@paintfairy I was a fool! Hurray, glad your blood tests were all good! Oooh next cycle, that's super exciting!

Vil10 · 31/03/2021 19:50

@HollieL567 lovely scan pic!! Glad it all went well!

@Minster2012 so sorry you're having a rough day!! You're allowed to feel low and down though!! Sending you hugs❤️

Franklydear · 31/03/2021 19:51

Well, we sent the email to request the school place, awaiting response

lucyrp · 31/03/2021 19:54

@HollieL567 what a great picture ! So happy for you🥰💓

@Minster2012 were also forecast snow all week next week even though yesterday and today its been 19/20 degrees! Sorry you're feeling rubbish. Sending you all the love 💛

minthumbugs · 31/03/2021 20:00
