Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Thank you @Haiyaa! I tried to speak the doctor about the short LP but they weren't willing to entertain me. I don't take any supplements or anything just now but I've been recommended a few so going to see how this cycle goes and then look into it. X

Woop had a call and will be having my laparoscopy on the 27th already! It does mean no TTC in April but hey ho.

Woohoo! I expect it will be nice to have a month where you know progress is being made but without the pressure of TTC.

Is it exploratory or treatment? Sorry I can’t keep up with where everyone is on their journey.

@Haiyaa yes it will be strange as I don't think we've had a single cycle off since we started! It's exploratory so I wouldn't be surprised if it came out with nothing. I think I'd be kicking myself though if I turned it down only to always be second guessing whether I have scarring or silent endo or something.

@paintfairy well here's hoping you don't come on and if you do, you've got a POA!
@Juno231 amazing news! I'm still waiting on my date. Called and emailed today in fact!

@minthumbugs @Franklydear people go camping without wine?! I'm more of a fan of creature comforts so find wine helps!!

Wow if it was £2000 I'd be shipping DH off down there @Minster2012! Although it is a weird thought isn't it, that there might be siblings of my DS around?! Anyway I'm pleased SA was good for you!

Ooh @DKDK123 thanks for the tip off I will certainly do that! Good reminder actually, there's a pot of my wee stashed away in the bathroom for my CB OPK (was at the gym first thing!) - god knows how long it would have been before I remembered!

@minthumbugs I'm also a short LP - I've been taking Vitamin C, B6, Omegas, L-Arginine since Jan and now added Evening Primrose Oil. I also had acupuncture last month and LP extended to 10 days - unsure if it was that or I was ill - will be interesting to see what happens this month!

@larrythelizard that's great that it extended a bit for you! How long is your LP usually? Tbh I am pretty clueless with supplements. I've told DP once that it was FW and he didn't ask how I knew - think he wants to be kept out of the loop with all the OPK/BBT/supplements saga but I think I'll pick one to start off with and do one at a time - really hoping I don't need to though!

And trust me @larrythelizard if it was £2000 I would March him there myself 🤣but I don't think it's that much 🤔would be great if it were though, I would squeeze his liquid gold out! I don't know anyone who goes camping without wine, but most of my friends do most things with wine tbh it's the first thing we pack 🤣

@minthumbugs the doctor wouldn't entertain you that's weird?! And frustrating keep on at it.

I've given up on the ICs today having already had 3 wees I can't do it today it seems! DS is on one saying "daddy will smack me" after I told him off for hanging on a kitchen cupboard. Well he might do honey but that none of your business! 🤣

@paintfairy we wouldn't get ANY reduction in cost for my eggs, nope in fact a clear rejection I think! And I wouldn't want DH in my birthing pool either. On the side yes but not in 🤔

Yeah @Minster2012 it's so frustrating. I had spotting every day for an entire cycle too but they wouldn't listen because I'm 25 and have a LO already. Most of the helpful advice and everything have learnt has come from mumsnet

Great news they can do it so soon @Juno231 at least it'll be another investigation ticked off the list.

I caved and tested this morn and it was a bfn, can feel the start of cramps coming so I'm sure AF will rear her ugly head either later today or tomorrow. The good news is I didnt actually feel that sad, think I'm too tired today to feel anything other than tired, silver linings! Hid in the kitchen and ate half of one of my sons Easter eggs earlier. I figured it was ok since he was the one to make me so tired that I'd just call it a sugar tax 😂

Sorry about the BFN @DKDK123. Hopefully AF doesn't show and you're not out yet. Last night DP and I were about to crack open one of our LO's easter eggs too. Resisted the chocolate last night but I don't know if it will make it to the weekend!!

How is everyone... im all oyt of sorts atm been reading posts but nothing going in.. af has just made her full grand appearance no doubt this time. CD 140something 🤷‍♀️ I'm sooo tired all the time atm it's sucks.

So I got through to someone and my lap is booked in for 13th April 🥳 @Juno231 my dilemma now is, do I move it...I ask as they want me to self isolate for ten days before it. My ivf appointment is 6th April...I guess that's more important right now isn't it. Ooh don't know whether to just chance it? I'm doing a Covid test 3 days before anyway so I'm thinking chance it 😬 opinions welcome on this!

@DKDK123 😂 love that you ate his egg but you deserved it after another BFN and you do need the energy! Really surprised premom do a payback if you're not pregnant. How do they know you aren't lying though 😅 I'm watching the fertility friend Twitter this month hoping I might get some free VIP access again. They tend to offer voucher codes on holidays. I missed the valentines one. I can't bring myself to pay these companies with a business model of taking cash from infertile ladies ☹️ I know the companies selling pregnancy tests, OPKs, etc are all the same really.

Will be great to find out if anything is going on @Juno231. I'm sort of having a break this month from trying too... by that I mean I'm not doing the OPKs or watching my fertile window to DTD we'll just do it when we feel like it (so will likely only be the weekends not covering ov 😅). Do you have any endometriosis symptoms? I'm guessing much like everything else you can have it asymptomatic. I have always had really painful periods since I started them at 12 and cannot survive without painkillers day 1-2 so do wonder if I have a mild form of it.

@minthumbugs I've had eggs in the cupboard for about 2 weeks now and was so pleased that I wasn't tempted by them.....but today it just needed to he done 🙈

Sorry to hear you're feeling out of sorts @Dollybird89 Hopefully this is the AF that resets your body and gets your cycles heading towards a more normal length 🤞

@notyetamumbuttrying I think its a bit excessive of them asking you to isolate for 10days prior, people still have lives they need to get on with they should offer a covid test just before it and the results of that should be enough without also having to stay indoors a week and a half.

@notyetamumbuttrying glad you got your lap date, I had to isolate for 14 days before as well as have a covid test done 7 days and another 48 hrs before and a swab on the day! I can't see how they can police it to be honest but you can get very poorly with chest illnesses if you go under a general anaesthetic x

@2020mission you have to have uploaded your ovulation tests each month to the app and they check you've done that before they pay out. I kept some from the previous month each month to upload for days when I'd forgotten or just hadn't done one they're more faded but they didn't seem to spot that. I guess you could get away with one or two old ones added but a few months of faded ones if you did fall pregnant and continued to upload old pics I think they'd soon spot. They do take into account things like CPs or taking time out as long as you don't have anymore than a 2month gap (or something like that can't remember the exact T&Cs). But there's nothing to lose from doing it if that's the OPKs you use anyway so I definitely recommend it. Personally I found them their ovulation strips the best ones so used them all the time but I don't rate their pregnancy tests so only bought one pack of them had I bought more I'd have gotten even more money back. Also got the £15 thermometer refunded too 😊

@notyetamumbuttrying I think we have no hope this month because of the hsg. We've only dtd once. 🤣
@minthumbugs I have spotted every month since coming off the pill in 2018. My lp isn't short though. My day 21 tests are normal. All other investigations have been normal. They trialled me on progesterone in my lp and absolutely no spotting. 🤷‍♀️

@minthumbugs that's really bad if you were spotting all month and not paying attention. I would def go back and hound them

@notyetamumbuttrying ive had 2 hospital appointments in similar times and they said it was ok to go to both so I would just do it as opposed to messing around

Only problem is that the ivf and gynae are same dept and the surgeon doing the lap is from the assisted conception unit so I just have to hope she isn't doing my ivf appointment first! 😱

@minthumbugs 7ish days - woefully short! No idea if the kitchen sink I threw at it made a difference or if it was just a fluke? Time will tell...! DH finds the pressure a bit much when I tell him too much...we've found a balance of talking about it and me venting on here that works for us!

Definitely appropriate to eat some of the tiny terror's Easter Egg after your early start @DKDK123! Hope it's not AF...but I do think if you know you know!

Bossboy update, didn't you miss him? I found a beautiful ring with a single blue stone, no diamonds, so I took it to lost and found, bossboy was there with another manager, male, he was sitting down, so lower than me, he asked to see the ring, and hold it in his fingers like proposing, and said Frankie, with this ring, do you think I can find a nice lady?, so I said with or without the ring, will make no difference and left quickly left them both picking up their jaws from the floor and apparently he is hurt

@DKDK123 ds is not a great fan of chocolate but of course he wants as many eggs as possible, so they are all for family sharing, I only buy them for him really
