Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

@Minster2012 I did look up the cups and read the instructions. I must admit I was wondering how you get your hands up there. 🤣 I reckon it does take practice. But worth a go. I've read things that say they really make no difference but then I don't see why it wouldn't make 'some'. Seems logical that it can't hurt and might provide just a bit of help and maybe that's all some of us need!

@Crazydoglady123 I think you were brilliant for messaging your consultant on Insta 🙌🏻you stay resting til weds def. those ovaries need to go down, maybe to dog size? Not 🐎

@notyetamumbuttrying yes the lovely @Crazydoglady123 offered me an unused one 🤣😂, DH went "I hope whoever sent that hasn't used it" I showed him the seal in place. How ppl do them covertly no idea, nothing subtle bout the way I did it but hey Ho I might learn a new technique! Give it a shot!

@Minster2012 I have today but totally unpractical timing as I forgot it's half term so I don't get a few hours peace each day while DS at school 🤦🏽‍♀️

Interesting fertility cup chat @Minster2012 I was considering trying a mooncup so maybe I'll get one and it'll be a multi purpose device?!

Gym is back open for outdoor workouts so I'm booked in for 7, first proper workout since my hospital trip so I suspect it's going to be horrible!

I looked at the figures for last years appeals, 147 applied, of those 77 went to court, of those 7 were successful ( others might have been up the waiting list or another school before court, much what I am hoping for), so when I said 20% chances of success I was very overoptimistic

@Franklydear yay for the appeal application, how long does the process take?

I set my alarm for 5.30, got up and had a coffee in peace then took the dog out for 20 minutes without a toddler! Me and OH are in an Apple Watch competition so I'm determined to keep it up! I lost 2.5lbs this week doing calorie counting!!

I've got my last weekly acupuncture today. Then we will be going to 2 weekly so it'll be pre period and pre ovulation hopefully...
and my bathroom is finally getting tiled today too!!!!

@blackcurrantqueen non toddler walks are such a luxury aren't they?! Amazing weight loss, well done! I have put on loads in the last couple of weeks - back on it this week!

@Dollybird89 it's interesting the cup thing, but you put it in after sex so have like a "come out slowly" and then you have to try whip it in quickly. Like I said, subtle it ain't!

Ahh the fertility cup things, I've thought about one of those moon cups for AF but it would probably take years of practise for me 😂
After mine and DHs chat yesterday he blessed me with top quality 🍆 so a happy girly this morning 😊

@blackcurrantqueen sounds a good and productive morning 😊 I bought an acupressure mat yesterday, obviously very different to acupuncture but hoping it'll relieve a bit of stress and tension.

That's mental, my friend and I were just chatting about the moon cup the other day, she uses 1 for her af, she had a baby 2 months ago and was reading up if she can use and was telling me about people using after sex to keep the sperm in. Interesting 🤔 I'd just get DH to put it in, deck that lol

My eldest had his entrance assessment on Saturday for secondary school. He forgot to carb his breakfast and when in sky high (he has t1 diabetes) ah my nerves werent good that day but he was fine. Dh was more on edge than anyone 🤣🙈 he was delighted as we moved 3yrs ago and for the last 2 I move then to a school closer to home, only in the que and he met 3 of his favourite people from his old class so that Totally put home ease lol.

@franklydear as for the appeal, you got this. Like most things if u dont stand up and shout for them they dont happen. I've a good feeling about this for u. Xx

@blackcurrantqueen @2alreadywantanother the appeal hearing would be at the end of June, the latest, hoping I don't have to get that far @Minster2012 most are won on school admin error, total of 7 last year, I hope the other school is good, cos I definitely don't have this on the bag, in the hearing I would have to justify that my child loses more by not going to this school that the other children by overcrowding, without criticising the school he was given

So I've got mild af pains again and had the cm that I usually get just before af, so guessing I'll start either tomorrow or Wednesday, if it's Wednesday my cycle will have been 33 days long, only 3 days longer than usual I suppose, I just thought with not stressing or thinking about TTC my cycle wouldn't be affected😂

Thanks @bez91 and @Minster2012 workout was ok, I didn't push as hard as I could have and finished last but was good to be back and also so nice to see people again! DH is friends with the gym owners so they know what happened and I had a couple of very subtle check-ins to make sure I wasn't about to keel over again!

I think mooncups are pretty much the same? Have been feeling bad about how much rubbish my period creates and as I don't really go anywhere most of the time now I think it's a good time to try one.

AF is a weird one this time round, onto Day 7 and fresh red blood?!

@larrythelizard the answer to his assessment? We will get the results this wk. Not sure if we get the actual results or just the classes he will be in, eg higher or lower level. I know they advise of areas of choice on what hr should request for subjects.

Just ordered a cup. Feck it, either arrives and I'll use it and after DTD during fw or I'll have jinxed myself and geta bfp lol whats the chances

@larrythelizard not quite the same I don't think - ferti lilies are flat so keep the sperm right by the cervix whereas a mooncup would just hold the sperm but is too deep to force it to the cervix.

Saying that I'm not in the ferti lilies believer camp unless you're skipping BD 😅. Swimmers left over that need to be shoved towards the cervix are meant to be the unworthy ones no?? Anything half decent will have made its way in.
