Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Hey @Juno231 can I ask you a question as I know you are good to track your cycle , did the hsg have any impact on when you ovulated? I assume I have ovulated by now, cd18 and usually short cycles. But I haven't had any of my usual ovulation pain/ewcm and not tracking so can't be sure. Unless I ovulated so early the hsg cramps and inky stuff masked ovulation signs 🙈 or anovulatory cycle maybe.

@Juno231 I see what you mean, but I think it can still help push them along and if using lube too then push them into that??? I'm in the "give everything a shot" camp 🤣😂

@Vil10 my cycle is messing with me too... late but BFN 🙄 I was wondering how you'd get on with suddenly switching off from TTC after trying for so many months?

@Juno231 I'm glad I'm not the only one avoiding plugging the semen in 😆 I assumed those that don't get up there quickly are bad swimmers or instantly killed. Going by lack of success I assume it's the latter! Have you tried conceive plus or pre-seed? I'm tempted to but then with the doctor saying my pH balance was off which can cause PID, I'd be worried I'd cause more problems.

@Katao I wondered that too. It's hard because tracking cm went out the window a bit. I was due to ovulate the day after my hsg or maybe the day after that. But I'm actually wondering if I did! Because I don't feel like I necessarily have. I should have taken my temp this morning (slept well) I'm hindsight. That would have told me. But I'm still horny. 🤣

@katao and @paintfairy, I'm wondering the same about the hsg affecting ovulation. I didn't use opks after my false peak last month & just find them stressful. So had ewcm last week or at least that's what I thought it was but now wondering if it was jizz or lube (or both!). I was still v horny yest too @paintfairy 🤣 that was day 18! I'm slightly panicked as we bd a lot last week but haven't since last Thursday. Too tired and fighting, good times.

Having said that.....
I know nothing about rhr and I know @Juno231 does. Does it work like bbt? So it goes up after ovulation? Or does it have a completely different pattern? I was trying to look for a quick summary somewhere! But he's mine so far.....

@Crazydoglady123 I was looking at collies and DH always wanted a German shepherd so we're looking at them at the moment. The main thing is that she's a bitch with a good temperament. I'm not too fussed about breeds.

My inositol as recommended by a dietician for PCOS management arrived today. It's a massive bag with a comically teeny tiny scoop. I reckon it's enough to keep me going til I'm 100. Oops!

@paintfairy @MartyMcShy we are all in atizzy about the same thing 😂 @MartyMcShy I didn't realise you had had yours recently too.
I did wonder if maybe it was a good thing i didn't have my usual pain, maybe the tubes having a flush through helped something!

Usually 6 days @Minster2012 - we DTD last night (I thought it was all over) so maybe just some random spotting, nothing since first thing this morning! Was really nice to DTD because we wanted to not because it might make a baby!

@paintfairy I track my RHR but dont find it reliable. Going by the RHR and opks my RHR rises and I ovulate near the peak of the rise where as I assumed going but others that u ovulate at the start of the peak. Plus I normally rise a good bit towards end of cycle and start to dip then for af but the rise hasn't started yet which is strange as I'm 8dpo so not sure what its gona do. That's why I started back doing bbt. Its more reliable I think.

@2alreadywantanother ah OK. It'll be interesting to see how mine pans out then. I'll know when I ovulated once we get to the end of the cycle so I'll see if it looks like it shows anything at all. 🤣
@Somatronic oh god, definitely don't get a collie. My advice would be to stay clear of breeds that struggle to be anything other than working dogs. Unless you plan on giving them a job to do or can mentally stimulate one for several hours a day. Otherwise you'll end up tearing your hair out (and having no house left).

@paintfairy thanks for the advice! We always had them at home so I gravitate towards them but I work in an office not on a farm like my family so what you say makes sense.

AF came just now I think. 2 days late so I was a tiny bit hopeful still. Never mind. I'm feeling discouraged to say the least.

Before I even started trying I had a bad feeling that I wouldn't ever have a baby and now I'm wondering if it's true. DH tells me that it's nonsense and I know it probably is, but I also trust my gut in most things in life so hopefully it's wrong on this one.

@somatronic sorry to hear af landed. Dont let it deflate you. I know that's easier said than done. That will be me next wk 😭

@Somatronic the points @paintfairy make are good, my cousins collie tries to herd my cockapoo rather than play with him 🤣😂

@2020mission I used preseed for a while a year ago but that's because I never seemed to have ewcm. Then I started EPO and basically didn't need pre seed anymore. Saying that I still used a full tube and it clearly did bugger all for me 🤣. I think it's a good shout if you struggle with cm though or like to use lube anyway!

@katao @MartyMcShy @paintfairy the hsg certainly didn't seem to delay my ovulation. If it did have an effect it was to bring it forward three days.

@Minster2012 I agree about trying anything!

@paintfairy oh and my rhr goes up in the LP like temp would i think it differs for different people!

AF arrived and I just went on Facebook to see my cousin has posted a pregnancy announcement and he only started dating the woman he's got pregnant 6 months ago 😭. Definitely a shit Monday here.

@Somatronic friends of ours have just got a collie pup. Like @paintfairy said, a lot of working dogs do need a lot of mental stimulation or they get bored which can end up in behavioural problems. Our friends intend to go to obedience and agility classes with theirs when it's old enough which I think if your set on a collie then they'd definitely be worth going to and then at least you do some training in the week with him/her to keep her stimulated.
