@Twelvestars yes, just started week 3. It’s definitely better, but it’s slow going. Which I guess is not a shock for a condition that’s resistant to treatment. My feet and hands especially have a fair way to go. It started on my feet, and it has refused to leave my feet for 18 months, even when I managed to improve it pre-wedding in October. Was glad I had a long dress, I originally had an ankle length one
. My face is better too. I had this stupid red patch on my right temple since it’s started, wouldn’t go away. Finally can see normal skin again 🙌. Now I just need it to stay that way.
Honestly don’t know how you deal when you can’t sleep properly, my health goes off the cliff when I can’t sleep well, I’m not good at it (but had some practice recently with the skin). Have you just adjusted over time? You’re right, it’s been quite the mix. I’ve definitely had new anxieties the last year or two that I never had before.
@Katiekattty I am still on one antibiotic but I’m on that for six weeks 🙃, didn’t want to wait that long to start but I gave it nearly a week before diving in to the next new medication.
Funny you mention appetite because the oral steroids make me hungry as hell, I’ve started couch to 5k again, am eating a lot of bananas, grapefruits, oranges for the potassium (apparently this helps) because I’m worried about gaining weight. The second week was bad, I could have eaten every single hour. Seems calmer this week, but still a little more hungry I think. Will see what the citalopram does to the appetite issue lol
Definitely aiming for the morning, I don’t want to be awake all night really. I think the steroids made me jittery and awake on Saturday night, actually, just remembered, but that seems to have calmed down since I started a bit of running. Need to run again tomorrow and try to keep it up!
