@Ralala huge congratulations xxxx

Sorry I've been MIA. Taken a huge break, not coping well. CD45 and nothing. Not pregnant, no AF. Feels like a joke at this point. Could be from the MC, could be from COVID. Who knows 😓

LostFox82 · 28/04/2021 22:23

@DMT1982 it’s so frustrating isn’t it it’s cycle day 36 for me now and I have no symptoms of AF coming... spoke to GP tonight and they said nothing they can do, I just have to wait 😒 I’ve never had a cycle this long ever...

@cupcakesandglitter what cycle post miscarriage are you on? I have a feeling mines going to go on and on, it’s the most frustrating thing ever when you’re ttc 😭

cupcakesandglitter · 29/04/2021 16:30

@LostFox82 first cycle - had a "normal" period when I mc'd so didn't expect it to be this long. More annoyed because it's yet another reminder. And of course that stupid glimmer of hope it's because I'm pregnant when it's not even possible

Ralala · 29/04/2021 19:11

Thanks all. Just taking it day by day at the moment

birdbybird · 29/04/2021 22:49

Hello ladies, congratulations on the new pregnancies.
CD2 here... and so it continues. This will be the third cycle after MC.

Tabbycat92 · 30/04/2021 07:08

Hi all, 14dpo and 4days late for AF today but still bfn. No idea what's going on. Just want AF to show now so I can start planning for the next cycle 😞
Anyone else had this the month following mc?

MSK1 · 30/04/2021 07:32

Morning @Tabbycat92, mine was the same the month following the MC, AF was six days late.

Hope you’re ok, @cupcakesandglitter. I know exactly how you’re feeling. Been doing CB OPKs this month and never got my peak. It feels like being in limbo and all the waiting is so hard. This is cycle three post MC for us and I’ve cried so much this week, think it’s all getting a bit too much.

Sending lots of happy Friday thoughts to you all x

AMS19 · 30/04/2021 09:53

Hi ladies

Happy Bank Holiday weekend 😎

I'm sorry a few of you are feeling frustrated. I totally get where you are at. I've felt a lot more positive this cycle but now I've ovulated I feel more deflated as I know what the outcome will be. This is my 4th cycle post mmc excluding the one directly after my mva. I realise now this will be more of a long game than I thought. Sending everyone lots of love xx

Hi everyone, sorry to hear that some of you are struggling with long cycles/not knowing what's going on. When you think about it, our bodies have been through so much after an MC, it's a big deal to get over. The right time will come 💪

Some positive news on my end after the scan I had yesterday morning. The baby was in the right place, measuring right for the dates and there was a heartbeat! I know that at 6w5d it's super early and a lot can still go wrong, but I'm trying to focus on the fact that it hasn't yet, and with the MC I didn't get to this stage. The next milestone will be 7+3 which is when I started bleeding last time (but baby measured much smaller than the current one). Who knows what will happen.

I'm realistic about this but hoping my positive (for now) news will give others some hope.

Lots of love to everyone!

AMS19 · 30/04/2021 11:15

@AlbiMix that's absolutely brilliant news!! Over the moon for you. Measuring spot on is a good sign, mine had a heartbeat but was measuring a week behind so I had a hunch something wasn't right. So take that as a massive win! Keeping everything crossed for you xx

AlbiMix · 30/04/2021 11:24

Thanks @AMS19 ❤️ it was actually measuring bigger than expected, by my dates it would have been 6+3/4 but they said 6+5/6. Hopefully that is a good sign, but just trying to keep my expectations low.

angc30 · 30/04/2021 11:32

Happy Bank Holiday!

Just ladies I was trying to get some space, STA positive and stay off MN. I had a lot of catching up to do

Congratulations @AlbiMix and @Ralala!! So so happy for you!

I started this cycle really positive but spotting, cramps and BFN later and I know I'm out. This my first cycle post-mc and it's really hitting me. I'm so frustrated with waiting and not knowing. Found out my GP forgot to put my referral in in December after my 3rd mc. I'm wondering at what point do we pay privately for IVF or do we try for adoption? We just had an offer approved on our first house so that's all our savings gone and now I'm terrified

Saying all this really happy to see the BFP coming in xx

Like @AMS19 said I guess it's the long game, I'm just feeling bratty and sick of waiting

cupcakesandglitter · 30/04/2021 11:57

Thanks @MSK1 sorry you haven't had your peak ☹️ I'm the opposite, I've had so many random blazing positive OPKs this month that make no sense. Had one yesterday?! And I had a whole week of them when I had COVID. Sorry you're not feeling great about it, I'm sure we can all relate. It's soul destroying isn't it? X

@AlbiMix that's fab news, sounds really positive and great progression ❤️

Willow1982 · 30/04/2021 13:10

Congratulations to the ladies that have the BFPs, lovely news to give us hope! @Ralala and @AlbiMix
I’m currently cycle day 2, 2nd cycle post MC, hoping to catch my peak this cycle as missed it last time! i also had random peaks on opk, one very early on the other much later! Managed to miss both!!

AlbiMix · 30/04/2021 13:11

Thanks @angc30 and @cupcakesandglitter.

Really sorry you're both having a tough time. It's so hard to think of anything else when you're going through this process, but hopefully being able to do more, see more people etc. will distract you. My MC happened in lockdown and there was literally nothing to do but think about it and worry. The minute I was able to see friends and family and talk about other things, I realised how all consuming it had been up to that point. As you say, it's a long game, so if you can enjoy other things in life in the meantime it makes things so much easier. Sending good vibes your way❤️

AlbiMix · 30/04/2021 13:12

Thanks @Willow1982 Flowers

cupcakesandglitter · 30/04/2021 13:18

Thanks @AlbiMix I'm definitely trying to stay distracted, but get annoyed every day that AF doesn't turn up - I feel like I can't move on, I'm still stuck in the mc cycle 😓

birdbybird · 30/04/2021 16:47

Wishing you all the best @AlbiMix
That’s great your little bean is measuring on track and even a bit bigger!

H2C12 · 01/05/2021 14:28

Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking for a while on here and on the previous thread. I had a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy, found out on 1st March. After a couple of weeks of ongoing bleeding I was eventually put in for an ERPC. I am new to MN but it was absolutely one of the things that helped me the most in this situation. Thank you to all you lovely people willing to share your experiences and talk frankly about this, it really helps. I had some wonderful support from miscarriage39 and some other ladies (sorry forgot handles) early doors. I am on second cycle since mmc, first one trying since. Please could I get some opinions on these tests? They’re the clear blue early detection taken at 12dpo, 14dpo and 15dpo in that order. Results came up in a minute or 2 but then I got a negative on an Asda. Thinking I’m either seeing into things or possible cp :( Thank you and hoping you’re all have a nice bank hol weekend.

Hi @H2C12 did you get a negative test on these before this cycle? There is definitely a line but it does look like it could be residual hcg given it isn't getting any darker

OP posts:
H2C12 · 01/05/2021 14:59

Hi @AMS19 thank you for responding :) I did get negatives after (did quite a few to make sure, dread to think how much I’ve spent on HPTs and OPKs) and have ovulated twice since the MC, well according to OPKs anyway. It’s not looking good is it :/. I guess I just have to wait out for AF and see if she comes. Last time I didn’t test until a few days after my period was due but it was an obvious positive.

H2C12 · 01/05/2021 15:00

Sorry I mean I did get negatives before this cycle

AMS19 · 01/05/2021 15:02

It could be that it just implanted a little later. I'm sorry that you're in this position it's very cruel after what we have been through. Unfortunately I do think it's a matter of waiting and seeing if your period arrives. Keeping everything crossed for you!

H2C12 · 01/05/2021 15:06

Thank you so much @AMS19 it’s much appreciated :) Wishing you and all the ladies on here all the luck in the world, we’re definitely all due some!

AMS19 · 01/05/2021 15:09

Keep us updated @H2C12 xx
