@AlbiMix that’s great news! I’m so happy for you.

I’m struggling and sorry to what others are too. I got a BFN yesterday but it may have been too soon. I’m symptom spotting but deep down know I’m probably out thai month. I kind of want AF to arrive so that I can move on to the next cycle!

Sleeeeeepy · 01/05/2021 23:33

Hi ladies and congrats to the new BFPs!

I've haven't been around much because I've been bleeding almost every day this cycle, I should be CD21 but right now that seems pretty meaningless. I'm due a rescan for a cyst in the next couple of weeks and the gp won't do anything til I get the results, all signs are pointing to endo. It's a year trying now, but the pregnancy then MC and complications were about 5 months of that. DH and I have started talking about moving on, there's still a flicker of hope but right now it all just feels a bit too hard x

justwant2beamum · 02/05/2021 00:46

Congrats @Ralala and great news @AlbiMix
@H2C12 fingers crossed for you, I hope it's your BFP! The asda test might just be a lot less sensitive? Maybe try pick up some frers or digital xx

AMS19 · 02/05/2021 06:36

@Badlydrawngirly what dpo are you? It's so bloody hard isn't it! Im sorry you're struggling too

@Sleeeeeepy I had spotting pretty much the while way through the first proper cycle post AF after mmc. I think I had 3 days where I didn't spot at all. Then had a monster period and there was less spotting the one after and no spotting the cycle after that. Last cycle I took B6 and B12 vitamins (high dose in addition to pregnacare) in my luteral phase and that stopped any pre AF spotting too. Hopefully the scan gives you an answer or more comfort ❤

Hi ladies!
I took a break from everything as I was feeling quite anxious this cycle and we weren't able to DTD as often as usual. I'm 10DPO now and have been so good at keeping it off of my mind... until doing a test this morning 🤦🏼‍♀️ now I'm annoyed with myself as we had a chemical pregnancy the first cycle after we lost our twins.
Can I ask what people think of this?

Morning @LaurenNH there is definitely a line. Keep testing over the next few days. Everything crossed it gets darker 🤞

Thanks for replying @AMS19 I wondered if I was just willing it into existence!

Congrats to all that have had bfps! Crossing my fingers for all of us.

LaurenNH · 02/05/2021 07:49

@h2c12 let us know how its going? Will you test today? Recalling willing it positive for you.

LaurenNH · 02/05/2021 07:49

*really

wag1987 · 02/05/2021 08:45

@LaurenNH I can see something, might be worth getting another test maybe a Frer fingers crossed for you.

I think I've asked this before but wasn't sure if anyone saw it or not, I'm 5 weeks and have no symptoms at all. I've done many many tests and all positive but feel really scared without symptoms. Should I be worried?

LaurenNH · 02/05/2021 08:58

@wag1987 having no symptoms by itself isn't a worry, especially at 5 weeks. My sister didn't have a single symptom until 6 weeks and then they all came at once. Try not to worry too much x

H2C12 · 02/05/2021 09:07

Good morning ladies, thank you for the well wishes, I’m going to wait until tomorrow to test again if AF doesn’t come. If it’s negative or really faint then I’ll accept that it’s either a chemical or my cycle has got a bit messed up. :/
@LaurenNH I can definitely see a line! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you! :)

@wag1987 I think 5 weeks is still early for symptoms, they say every person and every pregnancy is different but from what I understand the worst symptoms usually kick in around 8/9 weeks. This is what the midwives told me but maybe you could ring your local midwives for reassurance? My SILs symptoms didn’t kick in until about week 8, she didn’t know she was pregnant at first and is now 20 weeks (exactly 10 days behind what I should be!)
My friend didn’t know until she was 14 weeks! Thought she couldn’t have children and had no symptoms and she’s due next month :)

wag1987 · 02/05/2021 09:36

@LaurenNH @H2C12 thank you, I think because of my miscarriage in February I'm sooo worried about everything and constantly looking for a worry sign. As much as nausea is not something I want any symptom would be reassuring in some way

AMS19 · 02/05/2021 09:36

@wag1987 I didn't get any symptoms except being ache until gone 6 weeks. And my symptoms got worse and worse after the baby would have died. So symptoms are absolutely no correlation to the success of a pregnancy

Thanks @birdbybird @Badlydrawngirly ❤️

Fingers crossed for you both @LaurenNH @H2C12 those do like faint lines 🤞🤞

@wag1987 I'm the same as you, I have very little in the way of symptoms and it freaks me out. When I was pregnant with the MC I had nothing except feeling constantly hungry. No nausea, my boobs were not tender or sore in the slightest (even though before the MC I always had some tenderness at some point in my cycle). I started bleeding at 7+3 but the baby stopped developing at around 6w.

This time the reason I tested before AF was that I was feeling super hungry again like the first time, it was the only thing I recognised as a possible pregnancy symptom. When I reached 6w my boobs started feeling a bit sore in the mornings, but very mild and I still have no other symptoms, no nausea or vomiting, no food aversions or cravings etc. It is really scary because you just want a sign and I know there's been research to show morning sickness can be a sign of a healthier pregnancy but it's also true that some people just don't get symptoms. It's possible that our bodies don't react as much as others to the hormones. My scan at 6+4 was ok, so I know it's possible to reach that stage with minimal symptoms...just have to hope for the best. But I'm totally with you, it's weird and scary!

Sleeeeeepy · 02/05/2021 10:05

@AMS19 thanks for sharing, unfortunately mine is like a medium flow period rather than spotting. Yes hopefully answers soon,

@LaurenNH definitely a line! Fingers crossed it gets darker!

@wag1987 with DS2 I didn't realise I was pregnant until over 7 weeks at which point I started to feel very sick, and I have quite a few friends who barely had any symptoms at all most of the way through x

wag1987 · 02/05/2021 12:41

Thanks you @AMS19 @AlbiMix @Sleeeeeepy that's reassuring, this TTC /pregnancy malarkey is one big worry all the time. I have a scan booked for 6w 6days so fingers crossed

Cienega · 02/05/2021 14:13

Hi all, @Ralala I've just seen your news that's so Wonderful congratulations!! Xx

Cienega · 02/05/2021 14:20

Ladies I need all help and advice. Today is roughly CD5/6. I got my first period since my Ercp and it started and stopped to begin with but I finally got a heavy one and has been heavy for the past few days with fairly strong cramps (which I expected for my first period since everything that happened)
Today my period had slowed down to almost nothing but when peeing in the loo I passed what I can only describe as a mass of tissue..... It is scarily large, not at all like a blood clot, it is the size of a large grape and quite firm. At first I thought it was a sac from the baby (but after two ERCPs I'm not sure how that would be possible). I can't make out any type of fetus tissue on it so I'm not even sure if it's connected to my MC or not. To be honest it looks like what I would have thought a tumour would look like but I know I'd be irrational to think it's something like that. But what can it be!? How would the two ERCPs have missed it!? What do I do? Go to the hosp and bring it with me to be tested? Absolutely lost here and baffled and a bit scared

AMS19 · 02/05/2021 14:34

@Cienega gosh that sounds so traumatic. Put it in a air tight container in thr fridge and give EPU a call for advise on what to do next. It seems virtually impossible something could have been missed after 2 surgeries but best to get it checked. Sending you lots of love xx

Has anyone had any experience with Petals charity counselling? My trust just referred me.

LaurenNH · 03/05/2021 05:52

Just to update - I took a Superdrug early response test and it's negative 😢

AMS19 · 03/05/2021 06:03

Morning @LaurenNH I havent no. But I think therapy and support is so so important it's great they have done that. I'm sorry about the test. Is it the same sensitivity as the one you took yesterday? Have you tried with a FRER? At 11dpo a frer would be pretty telling. But anything with a sensitivity of about 20 it would be too early I think. Did you definitely get negatives post mc?

OP posts:
LaurenNH · 03/05/2021 06:20

Hi @AMS19
Yesterday I took a test with sensitivity 25, today I took one which should be 10!
Yeah it was confirmed complete by scan and I tested negative after four weeks (twins can take a bit longer).
Last month I had three positives and then a negative. So deflating! Thanks for your reply.

AMS19 · 03/05/2021 06:35

I'm sorry that's so tough @LaurenNH 4 weeks is very quick, mine took 7 weeks, but I was 11+1 when I had my MVA. Chemicals are really tough. I really would try and avoid testing before your period is due to save the heartache, its so tough knowing what could have been. But also means your body is sparing you from more heartache down the line. For whatever reason that embryo wasn't viable, and it's much better the body recognises that now rather than weeks down the line. Sending lots if love xx
