Ok so we need to get back to us ladies, back to fun games, POAS & getting fit, but you need to help me Cos Minster is flagging with a fuck boy body worse than the rest 🥺

Guess what...it’s nearly Easter & know what that means! 🐰🐣...We don’t want the 🐰to have the fun but bloody hell sometimes it’s a f*cling egg hunt all right 🙈🤣.

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far- feel free to have a catch up on those and add your own.

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@2020mission tbh I didn't think I'd feel excited. I thought I would just feel scared but I don't so you may suprise yourself. I don't temp unfortunately, it was never something I got into as I found opks hard enough to not stress too much about. I did actually have a higher temp when I checked it in work Friday tho which may be a coincidence lol. We have to our forehead temp daily in work an usually I'm around 36.2 ish and friday I was 36.6 so maybe haha (I don't actually think it's hugely accurate for conception so I won't obsess or worry if they go down again lol)... And don't count yourself out yet lovely - you've got days to go yet 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@vil10 ohhh I see that's really interesting i didn't know how it all worked with breeding dogs. Understandable hesitance from your mum but hopefully it will all work out 🤞🏻

@haiyaa I think I can see something in the colour photo but like you said vvfaint. Let's hope a fmu gives you a clearer line 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I mean if you can hold out it would definitely be better to do it Tuesday. Don't let me peer pressure you into doing it tomorrow lol. I'm using all my strength to not do another one tomorrow as we all know the double is after 48-72hrs so it will give us both clearer answers. I'm keeping everything crossed for you hunny!!!

@hollieL567 omg don't say it ahaha I joked about this with @gem176 earlier. Part of my would love twins because being a twin I know the amazing bond & friendship I have with my Twinny and I'd love that for my children & if that's what fate we were given I would be happy with it but also I know it's really really freaking hard... So one will be fine thank you!!! Well technically there are no early scans officially after miscarriage but when I was under EPU the nurse said to me to get in touch when I'm pregnant again and she'll arrange something for me. I'm hoping for one around 7weeks & then between 9-10weeks because that's when baby stopped growing last time so I will definitely be needing the reassurance. She said they can justify reassurance scans if the mother is struggling with her mental health & anxiety so I'm hoping I'll be able to 🤞🏻 did you get any early??

HollieL567 · 21/03/2021 20:29

@Sausage1990 hahaha how amazing though! Can't wait to find out if it's solo or not!! Awww hopefully then!! That's the same with my EPU I ring them straight away & I always have a bloods every couple of days and an early placement scan to check cause of my previous ectopic so this time I had that at 7 wks and then luckily this time they were lovely and said they aren't really meant to but they booked me in for just over 9 weeks also because similar to you around 7-8 weeks is when the last baby stopped growing also, she had to put it down on the report as something else tho as she said they aren't really meant to do reassurance scans. But if the NHS didn't offer it to me id have definitely had a private one. But the EPU have been fantastic x

Amy00 · 21/03/2021 20:35

OMG @Sausage1990 congratulations!!! This is amazing!!🌈 My OH was like that not getting excited when I had my chemical in November - but the line was way fainter than yours! That is a mega line! Twinnies!! 💖💖

@Vil10 also congratulations 😂 so exciting!

@Gensola that's awful what happened to your DH's dog!! Can't believe people do things like that, and it's apparently on the rise at the moment due to the price of dogs in lockdown. ☹️ Golden retrievers are beautiful, I would love one!

Minster2012 · 21/03/2021 20:36

Ooooo @Sausage1990 vitamin C is one of the MANY things I'm taking now 🤣😂so maybe that will help, @paintfairy if the dogs can do it so can we! Think like that! It's very tough @2020mission we often think negatively but I guess it's also realistically knowing the right side of TTC so it's reasonable I think and also means we are here to support each other more like for @HollieL567 knowing the struggles 🌈🎉

@Vil10 def not tempted then?? But if your mum has it then that's lovely though, close do you can see it but not so it's in your life day to day 😂can't wait for pupdate pics!

@HollieL567 I know that poor Kate who had the MC then stillborn it's awful. My DHs number two at work had a stillborn at 32 weeks a few years ago & I remember him getting the call & saying "what do I do?" As in he wasn't actually entitled to paternity (his dad also works for us, the grandad of the child), we obviously gave them both time off & they now have another child but can you imagine? Horrendous. That nursery she had. I'm friends with his wife on Facebook (dh's number 2) so they now know our struggles as I've made our ivf attempts public, he's seen me in the office and referenced "rainbow child" but he'd never say to my DH but for instance I know now DH going did his sperm analysis on Thursday if he says he's going out for an appointment he won't question him. It was all part of it. 😔I don't want him to think the boss is swanning around despite him having had no holiday & he's now sat on laptop 🙄. It's tough. But I still thought it glamourised it a bit overall in the programme. It was so hard.

@Haiyaa I can't see anything on the contrast pic but maybe something on the normal??? I really really hope so!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Sausage1990 oh yes I forgot you are a twin!

Clairey844 · 21/03/2021 20:40

@Sausage1990 ahhhh that's amazing🌈

@Vil10 yay for the doggy BFP 🐾
Out of interest how do they know she's pregnant?? Do dogs POAS 😂😂

@Haiyaa 🤞🏻 for you and line progression 😘

X

blackcurrantqueen · 21/03/2021 20:48

@Haiyaa I can see it on the second photo !! Can we have a FMU pleaseeee 😂😂
Oh best Sunday ever if we've had two BFPs!! X

blodyn91 · 21/03/2021 20:51

sorry I've missed most of the last bus, and only caught up the last few pages...but OMG @Sausage1990 this makes me so happy and emotional!!! After having our 12 week scan on the same day I just always think of you 💜💜
@Vil10 ahhh puppies 🤗🤗 since moving, we don't have a park to take our dog to and I think he is a bit lonely as now tries to play with the cat and chickens....im thinking of getting OH a puppy for his 30th in August 🤭🤭

Sausage1990 · 21/03/2021 21:16

@hollieL567 yeah I'm with you on that. If I'm not able to have an NHS one I would be inclined to pay for one... I'll cross that bridge when I come to it I think. Take it one day at a time!

@amy00 thank you hunny! God you're all going to have my panicking about twins now!!! 🤣

@minster2012 tbh I've found vitamin c really helpful... I don't think it's the reason for it (as Ive said before luck is a huge factor in this) but the only 2 cycles I took it are the ones I've got positives on so I certainly think it did something 🤷🏻‍♀️

@blackcurrantqueen definitely a good weekend 💕

Ahhh @blodyn91 diolch yn fawr, ti werth y byd 💞 oh poor woofer missing his friends... Definitely needs a puppy friend for him 🐶

larrythelizard · 21/03/2021 21:22

Oh all this puppy chat makes me want a dog! DH categorically does not though. Humph. Went for a walk with a friend and her 5 month old spaniel puppy yesterday and she's gorgeous! 🐾🐾🐾

So, despite being crampy a couple of days ago and most of today, no AF - my cycle has been bang on 28 days got the last 5 months. Wtaf?! I'm presuming it's something to do with my hospital trip messing things up but a small part of me is hoping for more than that. Question is do I test tomorrow (assuming no AF overnight - I've never come on overnight before!) or hold out until Tuesday? I think ovulation was March 12th so I'd only be 10dpo tomorrow.

blodyn91 · 21/03/2021 21:23

@Sausage1990 It so could be twins! 🤭 I've been eating lots of oranges, vitamin C helps with Iron absorption 😁 so also a fan!

Sausage1990 · 21/03/2021 21:33

@larrythelizard I know right - puppy broody!!! I think with the testing it's whatever you'd feel best with. If you're late now then you may as well test tomorrow... I'm only 10dpo soooo 🤷🏻‍♀️ but on the flip side some people don't like seeing a negative if it is one. I'm hopeful it's good news for you tho...

larrythelizard · 21/03/2021 21:45

We hardly had any sex this month...I think it's much more likely to either be the acupuncture or the thrombolisis (LOL at both of those within the same window!) causing my cycle to change and also being a pain in the arse as it probably changes when I need my blood tests but I'm now symptom spotting like an idiot!

Other than really sore nipples and boobs almost immediately however, I can't remember any actual symptoms from the twice I've had positive tests. And I don't have those!

DJmum83 · 21/03/2021 21:47

@Sausage1990 omg congratulations brilliant line. So pleased for you.

@Haiyaa fingers crossed I think I see something.

Thanks for all your good-lucks today first day back went ok. Felt sick all day the pills were not helping but I got through it.

Shattered so off to bed.

Here's to more BFP in the next coming weeks.
Xxx

DKDK123 · 21/03/2021 21:57

@Kirky658 how sweet is your brother bringing you donuts!

@gensola keeping everything crossed for this next round for you 🤞

@sausage1990 congratulations!!! 🥳🥳 And what a fab line for being so early on, I'm so over the moon for you! Aren't you glad you had your meats and prosecco last night now 😂

@vil10 puppy bfps are also exciting! Hope you're going to send us all a pic when they're born! 🐶

@Haiyaa keeping everything crossed for you 🤞

On the wedding chat, I've never wanted to get married its just been an expensive bit of paper in my mind. But after I had DS it actually really bugged me that him and DH had the same last name and I didn't so thats why we decided to get married. We had a humanist wedding that was just so chilled and totally us, I didnt wear a white dress I wore a tartan one that DH actually saw before the wedding as we were walking passed a shop and I saw it in the window and just said I want that dress as my wedding dress and dragged him into the shop while I tried it on. I made my flowers from paper (a bit like my friends one that I posted a pic of on a previous bus) We did shots of tequila from a quaich after our vows as we met over shots of tequila, the whole day was just perfectly us so I'm glad we did it now. Honeymoons however have been a bit of a disaster for us. The first one DS was still very young so we decided to take him with us and just go for a week away in the UK after the wedding and book abroad just us two the following year when he was a bit older. While we were away DS developed a burst ear drum and screamed the whole time and I had an asthma attack because I didn't realise we'd been sleeping with a feather duvet and pillows. So we abandoned ship half way thru and just came home. Our belated honeymoon abroad the following year was booked with Thomas Cook and when jet to (I think) went burst we thought that's fine we haven't booked with them......only to find out that Thomas Cook had actually got our flights thru them so while we had accommodation we had no flights to get there and none of the airlines matched up with the dates we needed. Being a teacher I couldn't be flexible on my dates as I only had those exact 2 weeks off work so that didn't happen. We eventually got a refund but as we'd booked it so far in advance and gotten a great deal the prices had then shot up everywhere. What we'd paid for a 5star honeymoon suite with private pool we were only getting an average 3star nothing fancy elsewhere. So we ditched the abroad idea and booked a hill walking holiday on one of the Scottish Islands......3 days before it I fell and broke my leg 😂 We are so lucky we're so laid back as we have just laughed off the honeymoon saga but you really couldn't have written it!

Franklydear · 21/03/2021 22:06

I forgot we did do a honeymoon, well, it was a holiday to Lisbon, cos we love it, five months after the wedding, but I called it what I want to, our hotel room had a leaky bath, and the only other thing they had available was a suite with a balcony, so they gave us that, but I was on my period and back then I just ballooned like a puffer fish, but we had a great time

Minster2012 · 21/03/2021 22:09

@Gensola we've allllllllll got everything crossed 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@larrythelizard you could always wait this cyclrc& see on Tuesday & try the chilled approach (totally know easier said than done)

@blodyn91 OMG I mean yeah a newborn
AND a puppy?? Course that's easy right??? Crying in the night! Which one is it?? I think it's a brilliant idea🤣😂out pointer was 8 months when DS arrived and they are so close! But at lest she was house & crate trained by then!

@DKDK123 that sounds immense wedding but then not on the honeymoon front 🤣😂

OP posts:
Minster2012 · 21/03/2021 22:16

@Franklydear oh these are great!! Bus mans holiday so to speak!

We did a 2 night "mini" moon to wednesleydale with the dog on a living social deal after our wedding (Monday to Thursday 🤣) as I was on chemo so couldn't actually go away. That was mid December after wedding. Then in January we went skiiing for a week after my chemo week and yep I tore my ACL on the first day. Turns out I can't ski for shit. So our romantic log cabin in chamonix was awful I was going up the stairs on my arse, no action, I spent most of the week watching the first series of married at first sight USA (you NEED to see it) whilst I pimped my hubby out to the fit ski instructor whilst I laid up like a twAt. Couldn't drive for weeks & 2 operations later it's still not right. Awful!

@Justanothercyster good luck I did tomorrow 🤞🏻xxxx

OP posts:
2020mission · 21/03/2021 22:16

@Franklydear My husband and me went to Lisbon as our "honeymoon" too! We aren't the type to book a 5 star luxury hotel and sit on the beach the whole time so it was really just another city break to us just happened to be the week after we married. I was also on my period 😂 terrible timing. Better the holiday than during the wedding!

Minster2012 · 21/03/2021 22:17

@Justanothercyster FOR tomorrow
Cant type bugger it. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

OP posts:
Franklydear · 21/03/2021 22:27

@2020mission I think I could sit on a beach, or anywhere else, for a maximum of half hour, it's a lovely city to explore, we did go to one of those super luxury and expensive restaurants in our jeans and casual tops, it was a honeymoon after all

Franklydear · 21/03/2021 22:29

@Minster2012 all we needed was each other, and plumbing, I am not camping 🏕️

larrythelizard · 21/03/2021 23:33

AF just arrived. Couldn't sleep for it all going around my head so in a way pleased she showed up!

TTCAbroad · 22/03/2021 00:11

@Sausage1990 Yay!!! Congratulations! For some reason I feel like we perhaps started TTC around the same time and have had a few similar experiences so I feel very pleased for you Smile

@Vil10 can you post photos of the puppies when they are born? How long is the gestation period for a dog?

Hopeful110 · 22/03/2021 06:32

@Vil10 ahhhh yay!!! Baby puppies 🐶 you must be so chuffed!! Think I need to get the hormone implant for my dog, his horny and humps his special pillow everyday 🤣 got more stamina than the OH 🤣

@Sausage1990 I still can't believe how good your line is for 10dpo! That's so reassuring... maybe it is twins if they run in the family?

I think I need a hand hold girls.... im struggling! Could my bfps I had be a cp? The lines are not any darker and I did a CB early last night and that had a very faint line but I mean... right now it's dried as a very skinny blue line and the shading had faded...and the early digi was bfn.... I know I'm torturing myself but my temp isn't rising...its still above my cover line but up and down :(
I'm just worried that surely my line should be dark like @Sausage1990 :( I still can't sleep properly, still having vivid dreams and woke up with a horrible taste in my mouth like metallic..but no AF cramps or any sign of her. I really hope my GP will do bloods this week to find out if I'm even pregnant at all... 😔🙏🤞 sorry to go on I just dont know what to do and haven't told OH yet as dont wanna get his hopes up for nothing xx

Justanothercyster · 22/03/2021 06:51

@Minster2012 thanks lovely 💕 it's at 7pm tonight so just need to try and get through work and not die 😞 if I get the pain after work again today the doc said to call back to discuss so just hoping it's ok 😖

Hope everyone's ok, I have been keeping up but just feeling so crappy. Just trying to get through the days atm!
