@PlantMummy87 I totally agree with @dippyegg32 the only thing I've seen a concern is temps being too high. You can go onto fertility friend and search charts with different filters such as average pre O temps, pretty sure that would put your mind at ease!

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 18:55

Thanks @dippyegg32 and @AMS19, yeah I completely agree definitely can't be one size fits all. I'll look on fertility friend and hopefully that will help ease my worry ☺️

I've been feeling so hopeful about this cycle as everything seems to be stabilising and feel like this is throwing a curve ball that made me start thinking this won't be the cycle for me. Need to stay positive and believe that it is the one.

@Cienega hi lovely, hope you’re recovering well from your surgery. Sorry you’re going through this. I had surgery in January, I did try again as soon as bleeding stopped but didn’t catch that time. I’ve now had a period and am waiting to see if this cycle was a success! I’m not sure about needing to wait because of the lining, I was told that they advise to wait for dating purposes only.

Supplement wise I just take pregnacare conception supplements, and have been drinking Pom juice! I’m not the most clued up on supplements so hopefully one of the other ladies can advise xx

Sorry @Cienegadidnt see your message! I'm sorry it's totally shit. I started trying straight away but no luck so far. This is my first cycle after a proper period so hoping things are getting on track!

Supplement wise I take pregnacare and 300mg of Ubiquinol. I also drink POM juice, follow a medderterranean diet and am doing seed cycling. I had fertility acupuncture today and didn't think it was worth the money. But given how reccomended it is I'm going to try "normal" acupuncture (which is half the cost) on a weekly basis I think! Xx

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 19:29

@Cienega I'm so sorry what you are going through. My partner and I didn't plan to start trying straight away but when it came to it we did try but it didn't happen for us. In my first proper cycle post miscarriage and hoping this is the cycle.

I take a multi-vit which has folic acid in, and omega 3 and 100mg co-enzyme q-10. Also been seed cycling this month as the month I fell pregnant I'd been doing that. This cycle have added drinking pomegranate juice/adding pomegranate seeds to porridge/smoothies pre ovulation after these lovely ladies suggested it is good for building up your lining.

dippyegg32 · 08/03/2021 19:54

@Cienega we did try last month but it turned out to be futile as I still had residual hcg in my blood 11 weeks post ercp despite perfect ovulation /temping. This is our first month therefore of trying with some actual level of hope.

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 20:09

@AMS19 oh what a shame acupuncture wasn’t what you hoped for. Mind you, will save you some money going forwards!!
@Pettylamby AMAZING!!! So happy for you! 🎉🎉 this really is turning into a lucky thread, makes me so happy and hopeful 🤞
@Ralala the sperm comment made me laugh!! My hubby said the same thing to me the other day - like he was some sort of super sperm machine ready to fire!! 🤣

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 20:23

@Cienega sorry to hear you’re going through this. Hope you’re feeling ok after your surgery this morning. I also had surgery like you and was advised to wait one cycle until trying again but that appears to be more for dating purposes than anything to do with harming a future pregnancy. I had a miscarriage in 2018 and conceived my little one three weeks after my surgery without a period and he was absolutely fine! X
@Bowwow89 sorry you’ve had to join this thread 😢 I’ve had two miscarriages and surgery both times. With my first I tried straightaway and conceived immediately but with this one I chose to wait. I had my first period at 5 weeks and now waiting for ovulation to kick in so I can try this month. So far not appearing and I’m testing like a crazy lady!! 😩😂 I think anxiety unfortunately is going to be part of any future pregnancy BUT each pregnancy is its own individual bubba with its own path and theres absolutely no reason why one miscarriage will lead to another 😘

glowingtwig · 08/03/2021 20:38

@Pettylamby @Summersun001 @LauraT94 congratulations!!!!

Here's my pic at 11DPO.

So anxious already so just going to have to try to put it out of my mind now. I'll call the GP tomorrow morning though as I know I'm supposed to take progesterone and aspirin this pregnancy.

I wonder if the recurrent mc clinic will still scan me now and do the second bloods?! I think that's adding to my anxiety.

@glowingtwig wow another one!!! What a few days we’ve had for amazing news. Congrats lovely xxx

Summersun001 · 08/03/2021 21:01

@glowingtwig wow! Congrats lovely!

I must admit I’ve started to take aspirin and a higher dose of folic acid. I took the plunge and decided to take the aspirin just after ovulation, so I will hopefully speak to the Midwife about it. My test lines were much stronger than previous at this stage though, so we will see. I don’t think I will be prescribed anything at this stage as it was my first mc. I’m really hoping this baby dust spreads ladies!! xx

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:05

@Summersun001 I've been going back and forth on whether to take aspirin or not. Some places say it can't help, others say they were told it could be dangerous! So I'm totally torn. Have you asked any professional or did you just go for it? I've bought them so I'm tempted. I've only had one miscarriage though so maybe I should wait and see if I have another then take them 🤷‍♀️

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:05

Can't hurt even!

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 21:07

Congrats again @glowingtwig I'm SO over the moon with all these BFPs they are giving me all the good feels ❤❤

Seasalt1984 · 08/03/2021 21:10

@glowingtwig and @pettylamby so glad to see you're BFPs!!! So wonderful that it's happening for so many of this group! Keeping everything crossed for you both 🤞🤞 xx

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:36

Ahhhh @glowingtwig another one!!! That's a great line!! I'm still tentative about mine and had some spotting tonight and AF due tomorrow so we'll see what happens! But this thread has really lifted my spirits! 😘🌈

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:38

Ahh thank you @Seasalt1984! Hopefully lots more to come in the next few months! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

glowingtwig · 08/03/2021 21:41

Thank you everyone ☺️

@Pettylamby I spotted with DD the days leading up to AF and she was fine. So i don't get too scared over spotting really early on. I didn't spot at all at the start with my last two mc so I'm almost hoping I do get a bit of brown spotting as that was the case in my one successful pregnancy. ❤️

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 21:55

Thanks @glowingtwig I do hope it comes to nothing but I think for self preservation I'm just assuming AF may arrive, and if she doesn't then everytbing from then on is a bonus! 🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻 Xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 21:56

@glowingtwig ahhhh congratulations!! That’s amazing! Another BFP - we are on a roll! So happy for all you ladies enjoying those BFPs! X

SuzieDeLaTour · 08/03/2021 22:02

@AMS19 my consultant told me not to bother with aspirin but I’m thinking maybe I should give it a go too!? Ahhhh it’s hard to know what to do. My GP is a bit rubbish so probably won’t help much in answering that and I don’t want to have to pay to see my consultant again for one question 😂 x

Ralala · 08/03/2021 22:20

Congratulations @glowingtwig

Ralala · 08/03/2021 22:21

Cd13 for me. Busy week for hubs and I 😂

Sugarskulllover · 08/03/2021 22:33

So great to see so many BFP's for you all!

I'm not totally sure how my cycle is atm following my MC just a couple of weeks ago. I'm tracking using Flo which says I'm CD14 and supposed to ovulate today so we have DTD all weekend. I'm not getting my hopes up but staying positive Smile

Pettylamby · 09/03/2021 05:02

Morning ladies

Well AF woke me up at 3am so looks like a chemical for me. Had a good cry in bed for a while and then set to work on Google and have some vit b6 ordered to try and lengthen my luteal phase a bit more from 10days! Trying to take some positives for this month in that we fertilised an egg, but so incredibly sad that it implanted too late for my LP to allow it to stick around! 😔
