Hi all,
I hope it's OK to post. Congratulations to the ladies with the bfps xx
I'm not quite where you all are. Just had surgery this morning following a missed Miscarriage. Baby stopped developing at 7wks but my uterus continued to grow, only discovered at my 12wk scan two wks ago.

I was quite relaxed about waiting to try again but now that it's all over I find myself so eager to get going.
The surgeon told me to wait two cycles so that all the previous endometrial lining is gone and I have fresh new lining to start trying with. Does anyone know if this is necessary for a successful pregnancy or just something that is advised (but won't actually effect future pregnancies)

I am a planner so will be organising everything this evening for going forward. I want to do everything I can for best foot forward this time so would love some recommendations on prenatal vitamins or supplements to get my body in its best shape for pregnancy. (I am very lucky to be very fertile with three beautiful babies at home and fall pregnant quite quickly so I don't think I need to take anything for that, more to want to create the best environment x)

Also reading a lot about acupuncture and wondering what it is good for and if I should consider it?

Thank you all so much for reading and any advice, I'm so sorry for what you have all been through and senring all the luck in the world for your rainbow babies xxx

Hi everyone I’ve been very quiet of late but mainly because the app stopped working and then couldn’t remember my login details and thought I would step away from reading anything or social media etc.
Eventually got back on and saw this new group but haven’t managed to write on the original thread because I’ve missed so much that I didn’t know where to start.

Hope everyone is well.

I had my AF on 1st March which was 28days post D&C so just waiting for my fertile window now where you all at? Xx

Bowwow89 · 08/03/2021 16:13

Hi everyone Smile
Please can I join? I had a miscarriage a within the last couple of weeks. I had a private early scan at 7 weeks but they couldn't find a heart beat but they thought I had my dates wrong but after that the spotting started. The following week I had a scan at the EPU confirming the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. The bleeding has finally stopped and I'm ready to start trying again but unsure if I want to track before my first period (I was a little obsessive last time).
Do most people wait until their first period to try or start straight away? Also how do people deal with the anxiety of thinking if will happen again? X

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 16:23

@AMS19... Decided to try a cheapie this afternoon after a bit of a hold and boobs getting sorer as the day went on... This was the result... More FRERs coming tomorrow and period due tomorrow so we'll see what happens! But I'm inclined to believe the FRER now...

@Pettylamby you're defo upduffed GrinGrin

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 16:41

@dippyegg32 I bloody hope so! I still won't believe it till I'm getting proper lines and I've missed my period but it's looking that way! You made me laugh for the first time today with that comment, what a great phrase!! 😂😂

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 16:42

@Pettylamby that's most definitely a line, absolutely amazing!

Mellous · 08/03/2021 16:43

@Pettylamby awww it’s a bfp! Wow that’s three now. So so happy for you.

@Bowwow89 so sorry to hear about your recent mc. I think it is totally personal preference and if you and your feel mentally ready to try again. Doctors usually advice to wait for a period before trying again, that’s what I was advised but was told it was just to make it easier to date a new pregnancy. I did try before my first period but wasn’t successful. I’ve now had my period and I’m in the tww to see if we were lucky this time!

I’ve finally been able to read some of the thread and still few pages to go but pleased to see some positives :) which makes me feel hopeful

What’s others views on clear blue ovulation tests I read good and bad about them?

Mellous · 08/03/2021 16:52

@wag1987 yes we’ve had three positives here now! I’m currently 6dpo, my first cycle after my first period post mc. Not feeling that optimistic tbh!!

I used Cb digital this month and really liked it. I had 5 flashing smiley (high days) until cd17 where I got my static (peak), according to my temps I ovulated cd18! I don’t really get on with the normal opk tests, I think as I drink too much water during the day so can only really test in the morning which is when the Cb digital recommends you test x

I was holding out till the day AF was due but my god I'm eager to test. 7dpo today, and stomach has been feeling quite sick all day

wag1987 · 08/03/2021 17:10

@Mellous aw thank you yes I’ve read mixed reviews so wasn’t sure but think up give them a go this month and see what happens

Last chance to have a 2021 baby

Sending baby dust

DMT1982 · 08/03/2021 17:21

@AMS19 I wouldn’t entirely write off acupuncture then but like you say maybe normal acupuncture at a fraction of the price or reflexology. If you’re feeling lighter though it may have done something xx

DMT1982 · 08/03/2021 17:23

@Pettylamby whoooohoooooo things absolutely come in 3’s massive congrats that’s a BFP xxxx

Pettylamby · 08/03/2021 17:40

Thank you everyone! But we defo need to hold our breaths...just went to the toilet and there is brown spotting! Which could either be pre-af spotting or IB which I did get last time... Everything crossed please 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

AMS19 · 08/03/2021 17:57

Congratulations to all of those with BFPs, amazing news! So lovely to see a thread full of hope!
Just finished my first period after suffering a MC at the end of January. Hoping to try again this month. Fingers crossed to everyone Smile

PlantMummy87 · 08/03/2021 18:42

Everything crossed for you @Pettylamby

Just had my first fertility acupuncture session. She was very thorough with things and took down my last two cycles BBT and the BBTs from the month I fell pregnant. She said that my temps are a little bit on the low side and that we need to work on getting them up a bit. I'm now worrying about the possibilities of there being a thyroid issue as that can cause temps to be lower. I've never had a thyroid blood test as never had a reason to. I've always had temps around 36.00°c pre ovulation rising to around 36.40°c post. Last month things were a bit all over the place and temps were lower but still had a rise. Not sure if I'm worrying over nothing as although my temps are on the lower side I've read that as long as it isn't lower that 35.60 pre ovulation then it isn't really an issue. Has anyone else had any advice or issues with this before? Scared that if we try and raise temps then everything will go out of whack again.

dippyegg32 · 08/03/2021 18:46

I think I'm the opposite @PlantMummy87 so probably very unhelpful but my pre ovulation temps are 36.40ish, cover line 36.68 and post ovulation temps are currently 36.8-36.9. Surely there's no one size fits all?
