Recent MC - New cycles & trying again

Hi all,

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@Madeoftea I waited for a negative test and then started ttc before my first AF but it arrived 3 and a half weeks after MC and it was a beast of a thing, which I'm actually glad it was because I reckon I needed that good clear out. We have tried again this month so heres hoping for a BFP

@DMT1982 we've been together from day 1 and we will be together to the end ❤❤

@Mellous thanks for setting up the thread! I hadn't seen about Zoe Sugg but I just had a feeling she was going to announce soon!!

@dippyegg32 you made me laugh with the 'to think this is some people's normal sex life' 😂 OH and I are usually once or twice a month!! Managed 3 days leading up to O 😂

We tried the first month after MC but my temps were all over the place and never dropped properly, so I don't think we were even in with a genuine chance!

@Pettylamby and I are cycle twins, so I'm also 8dpo with a 10 day LP... I also tested this morning 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 I've just been having so many symptoms and based on my temps and symptoms I feel like I may have had an earlier implantation this time... If it's not all in my head haha!! So here is my line from this morning on a Wondfo 20mIU (I found them as sensitive as FRERs when tracking for a negative after MC). Won't be offended if you guys can't see the line but will be checking in the morning with a FRER 🤞🏻

Haven’t had a chance to read all the posts but will get to it this evening 😚 thanks for setting up the new thread - completely get that it doesn’t feel right chatting about TTC and getting those BFPs (fingers toes and everything else crossed!!) in front of women just going through the thick of it. Will post later when I’ve caught up xx

@LauraT94 I can't see anything lovely but I'm a bit shit at line eyes tbh. Try with a frer in the morning!

@dippyegg32 no worries at all! I do know it's ridiculously early to be testing haha 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm just addicted to it! Looking forward to doing my FRER in the morning although 9dpo is still early to see anything!

Anyone else get drunk hoping this is the last time for 10 months, or just me?!

I am 11 DPO, and had a BFP yesterday following my 2nd period after mc. I just wanted to share this news as my temps and OPKs were all over the shop this month; what I will say is I peaked twice (same as last month) but my temps were accurate - I wouldn’t want any of you ladies to lose hope.

I’m a little anxious at the moment and just keep thinking it’s going to be a chemical, or early mc. It’s a really strange feeling.

@AMS19 I completely feel you about getting drunk. I had my first alcoholic drink last night since November, I'm such a lightweight so don't drink much but it was wonderful to just relax in the bath with. In regards to acupuncture it is so expensive isn't it. Hoping like you to go a few times and hopefully things will be a more on track. 🤞

@AMS19 I can’t seem to drink more than a couple of glasses of wine anymore however I would trade wine and being drunk for being pregnant any day of the week. Xx

I know what you all mean with your stash of tests - I’m exactly the same!! Got millions of bloody boxes stashed in my wardrobe 🤣 I’ve no idea what’s going on this cycle, OPKs still coming up negative on CD15 (or 13 if I count from first day of proper bleeding). Just hoping that lovely dark pink line appears over the next week and I’m in with a chance this month🤞
@AMS19 acupuncture sounds great, let us know how you get on. I might be tempted to do the same! X

I hope that I’m ok to join your thread. I’ve been following the previous thread and it made me feel better to know that I wasn’t alone, if you get what I mean?

I’m 5 weeks post MC with my first pregnancy (we were 8 weeks when we found out) and my first period started this morning, thank goodness. Sort of just want to try to get on with things now really.

Found out yesterday that one of my colleagues is pregnant and due around the same time we would’ve been which threw me a bit. I’m pleased for her but it made me think ‘what if?’ Came home and had a good old cry, not sure if I’ll ever be ok when reacting to pregnancy announcements but hoping it’ll get easier with a bit more time.

Anyway, we’re hoping to try again this month so thought I’d join you and say hello.

@Summersun001 I agree with what @AMS19 said about every other pregnancy announcement outside of this group will hurt but knowing what we’ve all been through we are genuinely overjoyed for you xxx

@Mellous hi lovely. I had headaches and fatigue. No cramps or implantation bleeding - though I didn’t have these on my first pregnancy either.
The FRER tests have been the clearest tests also.

Thank you ladies. I am so grateful for your well wishes. Very much taking it hour by hour at the moment!! I’m not feeling too positive sadly. But hopefully I’ll be proved wrong! Xx
