Hi all,

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@Mellous it's a BFN but I'm actually ok with that, I think because I knew deep down I wasnt. Heres to next month 😁😁.

@PlantMummy87 ahh thanks for the tip lovely I've just downloaded. Won't follow it religiously but keen to do it eveey other day to let it "build back up". I tried to do it less this time but my husband kept inviting he had "reloaded and so it was fine" 😂😂😂

@Mellous 100% bring on the next cycle. AF should be arriving tomorrow or monday although by the way I've been feeling I thought it would be here sooner 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

@Pettylamby it's really wibbly in real life, yes! The FRERs I do never seem to look like other people's with the control line for some weird reason. Your symptoms sound very promising. I've got sore boobs but seems worse in the night. I'm forever squishing them in the day to check for soreness. Your tests look really good and I agree that the last one looks a tiny bit darker.

@AMS19 yes, I'll have to come in to London for them. I'm about an hour away by train, so not too difficult to get in. We used to go out in London quite regularly but since covid obviously we haven't. Going in even for a blood test and scan feels a bit exciting.

@Mellous @KJLM I'm definitely a Conceive Plus girl having also tried Preseed. Seems to work for us even if it's psychological as I tend to get a lot of EWCM cycle day 9/10 which feels a bit early. We don't bother with the mini tubes but get a whacking great one and slather it on (gosh sorry for the TMI)! I always laugh working out how much that 1 DTD cost in lube it's so expensive 😂

@Mellous sorry about the BFN... it makes your spirits slump. But I defo wouldn't wait a month because of Christmas time. The baby could be three weeks early or late after all.

@Mellous and @Neady1980 so to hear this wasn't your months either. Really hoping next month is the month you pop out those perfect eggs.

I'm not sure of anyone could advise me, but has anyone else ever had a super low drop in bbt in the lead up to ovulated? This month and last month a few days before ovulated I had a big dip in bbt for one day and then it rose back up. I never had this before the mc so not sure what it going on. I wasn't sure if I should exclude it from my temps, but if I do this is changes my ovulation day. From cd 16 to cd 17. I'm pretty certain it was cd 16 for me this month due to peak on OPKs and ewcm. I know I shouldn't read it into too much and nothing I can do now about it, just seems odd that it has happened two months in a row.

@plantmummy87 a big dip in ovulation is what you want! Thats always the goal as it means your body has blasted the oestrogen ready for the egg to pop! So really good sign if you've seen a drop xx

@Mellous I’m so sorry it’s a BFN for you. I hope you’re managing to have a nice relaxing day and doing something to (try) and take your mind off things. Don’t worry about a Christmas due date for bubba - they rarely rock up on their due date anyway and like @AMS19 said I would pretty much take anything at this point too!! 🤣
I actually tried Conceive Plus a few times but it didn’t do the trick. We also DTD every 1/2 days from day 10-ovulation but in November we actually just did it twice in 24 hours and hadn’t done it for a good week beforehand (I ovulated really late) so I’ve no idea if that made a difference!? I did the same thing this month and held off for a little while until I got a clear positive OPK. Think I’m probably clutching at straws here though ha ha! Xx

@SuzieDeLaTouri think that makes sense to let it build up a bit. Though I also read not to let it build up too long or it's "old" sperm! So 2/3 days is probably perfect. We did it twice on Sat and twice on Sun then I ovulated Tuesday so not sure how much was in Mondays "load" 😂😂

Tbh I don't know what's going on. I did what I can only describe as a scientific test Wee'd in a pot and used the same sample for these four:
FRER (bought off Amazon pre set silvery line) stark negative.
Wondfo top - faint line within 2mins (process time 5mins)
Wondfo top - tap water!!
Clearblue early - faint line within 3min process time

So now I'm out of tests. Still none the wiser. Still grumpy. Still stressed. Af due Monday. Rant over!! Hope you all have a lovely evening xx

I can see the line on the Cb and the wondfo... urgh sorry you’re none the wiser though :( xx

@dippyegg32 I’m in agreement with @Mellous that I can see the line. Please be kind to yourself until next week when you’ll get an answer hopefully on Monday- but obviously I’m crossing my fingers for good news.

@dippyegg32 there's defo lines on those tests! And that wouldn't even be FMU? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Nothing worse than the confusion of is there/isn't there a line tho! Hopefully get some answers soon!

@dippyegg32 loving the science experiment!! 🤣 I can see the lines too - I feel for you in a state of utter confusion! But you’ll get an answer either way within a few days so not too long now to wait - fingers and toes crossed for you! X
