Recent MC - New cycles & trying again

Hi all,

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@Pettylamby I always think at the dtage thr progression on the FRER slows down a bit. Really, the fact it's not getting lighter given what you've experienced is such a good sign!! When are you going to try the digital?

Your totally right @AMS19 I just looked back at old test pics from last time and the lines I'm getting now(15dpo) and very similar to the 14dpo lines I got last time and it took till 21dpo for me to get a proper dye stealer! I got a 2-3 last time by 18dpo so I'll defo wait a few days! Maybe try Tuesday or Wednesday! Hcg threshold for 2-3 is over 250 something so we'll see! 🙈

Here's my tests... Last 3 are the last three mornings FMU! I don't think the latest one looks lighter do you guys? 🤔

@Pettylamby oh wow no not at all!! If anything I would have said the tiniest bit darker. But those are fabulous lines!!

@glowingtwig lines are looking good lovely!!

BFN again for me today! I think I’m def out this month and already planning what we can try next cycle! xx

@Pettylamby definitely not fading at all, if anything they’re getting darker!

@AMS19 thank you! Gonna try not test for a few days but it's so hard when it's the only thing that gives me a tiny smidge of control!

@mellous so sorry its BFN, but there is still time, and if it's not this month then I'm sure it won't be long! You're rainbow baby will come just at the right time 💕🌈

I’m only 4dpo but will probably test a week today

Decided to switch over to ovia pregnancy, had been putting it off but it won't change the outcome so went for it and it still had all my old data in it when I downloaded it, told me I would have been 21 weeks now! I had consciously stopped counting a long time ago but that hurt! 😭

@AMS19 haha well I’m wondering if we try dtd every other day, this cycle we did it like 4-5 days in a row and I don’t know if that’s too much. Going to make sure my husband takes his well man as he’s a bit slack with taking them. Also has anyone tried preseed?

@Mellous sounds like a good plan. We had planned to do SMEP but got carried away the weekend I ovulated and did it 4 times in 24 hours so not ideal! I havent tried in but plan to next cycle. The conceive plus one though

@AMS19 I’ve heard a lot about SMP but don’t actually know what it is! I’ll do some research. Is the conceive plus meant to be better than the preseed? x

@AMS19 @Mellous I ordered the conceive plus from Amazon 🙈 we’ve not used it as to be honest when I opened the box and saw the little tube I honestly cringed to myself. Considering everything else is so regulated with dtd just now and my husband probably feels used as I only want to have sex during the fertile window (don’t want to use up all the good sperm🙈😂) that I’ve guessed if I whip out lube to help his little swimmers swim I think he’d be pretty deflated!! But then...why do we get all the stress? I might try next cycle if I am brave enough to bring it up!

@KJLM haha I’ve put off trying it before for that reason but next cycle in upping the ante! Just explained SMEP to my husband and he can’t stop laughing at the term “baby dance” 😂

@Mellous @KJLM I don't think it's better but just as good. Some people prefer it. I'm going for the normal lube one so not the one you use the tubes to insert. We would use lube pre TTC so shouldn't be anything different. My temps are quite high in the first half of my cycle and I've heard this can mean more dryness. I also get very little ewcm. So feels like a good thing to try!

According to fertility friend if I conceive next cycle I’d be due 26th December 🙈 does this put anyone off?! For me it’s not ideal but I’m not willing to stop trying for a month. If I get a BfP next month it’ll be a 3rd wedding anniversary present for us ❤️

@Mellous ha mine for next cycle is 24 Dec! I'm cracking on now, not stopping for anything. If its a Christmas baby so be it, I'll take anything at this point 😂😂

@Mellous @AMS19 I’ll give it a try next cycle. I saw the little tubes with the inserting part and I drew the line at those.
I read about SMEP but it is also just adds to my stress thinking when to dtd- for just now I’ll continue to try to every second day.

@Mellous a Christmas baby would be lovely! I think before I would have always veered against it but in the grand scheme of things it’s just a date and I’d have a baby on Christmas Day! Double celebrations!!

@Mellous it definitely wouldn't put me of,extra celebrations. I'm of to test now as just woke up but honestly think it's a waste because AF is on the way

@Mellous I tried preseed last cycle for the first time, and it was fine, used it like normal lube not with the insertion bit. Obviously didn't get the outcome I wanted, but don't think it was that that was the problem, more just I don't think my cycle had stabilised properly until this current cycle I'm in. Haven't used it this month as had been getting myself so stressed doing everything I decided to just go with the flow when it came to dtd.

For those interested the SMEP is free on Amazon Kindle and a very quick book to read. We've not been fully following SMEP this month but picked up the key points from it and will maybe try it fully next month if this month isn't successful.

So it's a chemical for me ladies. All other tests negative. Just want af to hurry up now. sending so much luck to all of you with positives xx
