@Ralala your message made me laugh!! Your hubby is no doubt thrilled I’m sure!! X

dippyegg32 · 12/03/2021 16:47

@AMS19 tbh my consultant told me the same. It's a personal decision but I won't be taking it.

Mellous · 12/03/2021 17:28

@AMS19 thanks for sharing as it’s something that crossed my mind if I were to get pregnant again!

Had anyone else you wondfo tests before? There's claims they're as good as frer but soooo much cheaper! Conflicting info about their strength though, some say 10mlu others say 20mlu HmmI'm all for saving the pennies!!

AMS19 · 12/03/2021 17:40

@dippyegg32 pretty sure @LauraT94 was raving about them?

LauraT94 · 12/03/2021 17:58

@AMS19 @dippyegg32 yup it was me raving about them! They're marketed as 20miu (the early ones are anyway) but they picked up a vvvfl at 8dpo for me and their lines tracked similarly to FRERs :)

LauraT94 · 12/03/2021 18:59

@AMS19 just catching up a bit and r.e. aspirin thank you for sharing! I personally have been so back and forwards over it. I took one yesterday but I'll be honest the idea just hasn't sat well with me so I didn't take another today. It's always good to hear varied opinions!

@DMT1982 I'm sorry about your setback and having to wait to TTC! But as you say there are definitely silver linings and you'll just have to keep reminding yourself of those ❤️

AMS19 · 12/03/2021 19:12

@laurat94 yeah I was so worried about posting and deleted about 100 times but then thought, if it were me I'd want to know what someone else had been advised to I could weigh it all up. I'm still thinking I may end up living to regret it but so be it

DMT1982 · 12/03/2021 19:39

@SuzieDeLaTour thanks for your lovely reply and yes now it’s spring I’m hoping this time will fly by plus my bloods are good so that’s also a positive. I’m loving reading everyone’s journeys on here it’s like a little fertility family xxx

DMT1982 · 12/03/2021 19:40

@LauraT94 thanks for your lovely reply xxx

DMT1982 · 12/03/2021 19:41

@AMS19 no absolutely right to post because it’s only passing on information you’ve been told you’re not preaching or telling people what they should or shouldn’t do. I agree I would want to know then I could make an informed decision xxx

Mellous · 12/03/2021 19:46

@AMS19 please don’t feel bad or worry about sharing these things... it’s what we are all here for. To share and support each other xx

Only catching up now, hope everyone is doing well. @Ams19 your 100% right sharing what you were told, it's good to know what everyone has been advised.@DMT1982 sorry TTC has been delayed for you but by then you will have the perfect egg ready to be fertilised ❤

Ralala · 12/03/2021 21:33

Arghhh I’m annoyed at myself for being annoyed.... cd17 and hubs is exhausted from work. He didn’t want to DTD and said we can tomorrow instead. I’m not sure if I have ovulated and I normally do so about now (cd15 to cd17). We have been doing every other day and today was one of our days. He said he thought we were not meant to be trying trying ... which is right and what we agreed but now I want to try. He still thinks we need to go with the flow abit more while we fully get over what happened .

glowingtwig · 12/03/2021 22:41

@PlantMummy87 I love the diagram with the magic too.

@DMT1982 that's so frustrating for you when you were all ready to get going again with the ttc. Well done for looking at the positives and by the time you are through that wait the vitamins will really have got to work.

@dippyegg32 I feel the same as you about this thread. It really keeps me going reading the messages every evening.

Hope you're doing ok @Pettylamby the waiting is excruciating. I'm constantly wishing there was a little trapdoor where you could see what was going on?! (Clearly the anxiety is getting to me!)

@AMS19 I'm so glad you posted that about aspirin. I came on to say the same. I finally got my results back and there are no issues with any of them. But the key thing that Prof Regan said is that people should categorically not take aspirin unless there is a proven medical reason to prevent clotting. I was told by my consultant after having my little one that next pregnancy I should take it from 12 weeks as I had an eclamptic fit after giving birth. But apparently not yet as it could do more harm than good. Prof Regan is supposed to be the absolute best so I'm not going near it, even though it's on my notes from the nhs consultant.

@Ralala oh I've been in your shoes. And once when it was ov day and DH had had too much to drink! It doesn't matter how much you try to relax and take it easy with trying, our bodies are driving us to want to get pregnant again ASAP.

dippyegg32 · 13/03/2021 06:23

Girls step away from the frer on Amazon!! I ordered four and they've all arrived with a pre set faint grey line ShockSadAngry peed on it anyway and no change to said line. Goodbyeeee £20 ffs. I have however used smu on a wondfo which shows a faint positive. I'm off to get clearblue later today!

AMS19 · 13/03/2021 06:31

@glowingtwig that's great news all the results were okay. So is the conclusion then it was probably chromosomal? I hope they apologised for taking so long to respond to you!

@Ralala ah I'm sorry. TTC honestly puts so much pressure on everything doesn't it. I asked my husband to research baby aspirin pre the conversation with my GP and he Googled it for all of 10mins before concluding it wasn't needed. This is the boy that can sit watching videos on his phone all day or spend hours analysing bitcoin movements 🙄 they just don't appreciate the emotional burden at all

Happy Saturday ladies. Anyone who is absolutely dreading tomorrow - I hear you. Wondering if I'll ever get to celebrate that day xx

AMS19 · 13/03/2021 06:33

@dippyegg32 grrr! I think I mentioned before how they had really bad reviews on there! Good news on the faint positive though, especially with smu! What dpo are you now?

glowingtwig · 13/03/2021 06:55

@dippyegg32 oh that's infuriating with the FRERs but great news about the faint positive on the other brand! Will be checking back for news on the CB!

@AMS19 I did get an apology, yes! I just wish I hadn't spent the first few days of knowing about this pregnancy so stressed because now I'm worrying that being so frantic could cause a problem. The conclusion so far is that it's likely to have been bad luck and chromosomal issues, yes. I'm to go to the private clinic in a couple of weeks for an early scan and another thromboelastogram to check if there's any increase in the likelihood of clotting issues during pregnancy (all the other tests were done 5 weeks ago).

So I did another FRER this morning. I've attached the pic. Should there be dye stealing by this point? I'm 15/16 DPO. Argh I'm so apprehensive that nothing reassures me 😞 not even what I know is a perfectly respectable line. The control line went a bit funny though, look.

Recent MC - New cycles & trying again
AMS19 · 13/03/2021 07:20

@glowingtwig thats a beautiful line for 15DPO! Absolutely perfect and nothing to worry about there. Honestly, looks like baby is well and truly snuggled in. I'm keeping everything firmly crossed for you!!

Pettylamby · 13/03/2021 07:21

@glowingtwig I think that's looks like a fab line! Maybe try waiting a few days and test again, sometimes if you do them every day they all look a bit the same but if you skip a few days I'm sure it'll be closer to a dye stealer! (absolutely unable to take my own advice as off to test again but maybe you've got more will power than me!! 😂)

That being said the line looks great! 💕💕

glowingtwig · 13/03/2021 07:38

Thank you so much @AMS19 @Pettylamby 💕 I haven't tested since 11DPO and I don't usually do more than two tests because it drives me slightly insane (you can probably tell!) 🙈

Why do you think the control line has gone all weird?!

I'm having my beta HCG done Monday then again Thursday with progesterone. So that might give me more of an idea I guess. Next two milestones...

AMS19 · 13/03/2021 07:41

@glowingtwig I've had that before with with control line. Nothing to worry about, could just be a bit too much urine. Either way the result is clear, you're very much pregnant and your body is pumping out lots of lovely hcg. Fab news on the bloods too! Do you have to come into London for those (or are you already based in London?)

Pettylamby · 13/03/2021 07:43

Is it zig zaggy in real life!? Can't quite tell in the pic @glowingtwig?

I've had ones do that before so I wouldn't worry!

Having not taken my own advice I've just done another FRER and looks the same as the last two days so now I'm worried! 🙈 But yesterday I felt pregnant, constant need to pee, bit nauseous and boobs feeling a bit more tender! Today I've got terrible wind (soz) and my nipples feel very tingly and I'm very aware of them if that makes sense!?

I think I'll only be happy if I see a change on the CB digital up to 2-3 weeks! Then I'll know for sure I've hit the next bracket of hcg levels!

DMT1982 · 13/03/2021 07:45

@glowingtwig wow what lovely dark lines. I agree with the others there is nothing wrong with those at all xxx
