Recent MC - New cycles & trying again

Hi all,

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@LauraT94 if it helps, when I was first pregnant with my little girl after my first miscarriage I was an absolute bundle of nerves... every twinge made me feel sick with anxiety. But my GP said to remember that everything is stretching in there and your uterus is going from a sort of flat shape to like a pear, so you're bound to get crampy feelings.

@SuzieDeLaTour maybe that's it- they do know I'm pregnant. But just a 5 minute phonecall to reassure me would make so much difference to how I'm feeling. I've ruined my day off with DD by staying in the house in case I missed her call and just being generally so on edge 😔

I'm sorry @glowingtwig that's so frustrating 😔

@AMS19 I'm going to keep testing over the weekend and if it's getting stronger I will phone EPU for advice! 🤯

@SuzieDeLaTour I suppose it could well have been but it just felt and looked so much like a period! I do had a friend who didn't know she was pregnant until 8 weeks because she had a full period so had no idea!!

@dippyegg32 I SEE IT! how many dpo? How exciting! 💕

@glowingtwig my head is the definition of burst! I think I'm in shock, I'm 90% sure the outcome won't be good but I just can't ignore the progression! 🙈

@LauraT94 I just can't believe what I'm seeing! Either I'm very lucky or I've got THE WORST luck! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

@dippyegg32 I see it!! This was how mine first looked. Everything crossed for you lovely girl!!

@LauraT94 I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’ve read on many forums that aspirin is the first port of call for many miscarriage clinics. And I too have read that as it’s such a small dose it will not harm the baby. I have every intention of telling my midwife, I can’t see her for another fortnight. If she tells me off...so be it! There are many many women who have taken things into their own hands so I take comfort knowing I’m not alone. If it helps, I too have been getting cramps, not massively painful but more than mild so to speak. I’m trying not to panic and just hope it’s a good sign! Having been through miscarriages, we know what to expect and how bad the pain can get. So I just use that to try and keep calm. Xx

@dippyegg32 I’m not totally clued up on my cycles as I got pg soon after coming off the pill. I think my period is due on Wednesday! Did you test again this morning? Hope that line is darker for you xx

Ah if you're not due on until Wednesday you've got plenty of time! What cd are you? I'm cd22/10dpo. I only bought one test in some sort of crazed spontaneity and did it late in the afternoon! I'll do another with fmu tomorrow. My af is due Monday x

Cd28 / 10dpo! Cycle is (I think) 32-34 days. Ahhh how are you feeling?!

Ah @mellous I'm sorry it was BFN but the ladies are right if you aren't due till next week there's still time! You really aren't put until AF arrives!

And even after that you might still be in! Who knows anymore!

@AMS19 how are you feeling today lovely as you said your anxiety was really had and you were getting chest pains? Did you sleep ok? Xxx

In all honesty I just can't believe I'm still pregnant, I really can't, my RHR has only risen one beat, my boobs don't feel as sore or as heavy, but I am still a bit crampy low down and sometimes think I'm a bit nauseaus but that could just be the stress! 🙈

There isn't much change between yesterday's afternoons FRER and today's which I kind of expected, so will do another on Sunday if I can make myself wait that long, in reality it'll probably be tomorrow. I'm still 90% that whatever is happening it won't be a good outcome so I'm testing expecting a fade in the tests!

I took the CB digi just to see what my levels are, the range for a 1-2 weeks result is HCG between 10-253 so I'm somewhere in there!

Today is 14dpo for reference on those tests!

What does everyone think? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔🤯

@Pettylamby I think it's been an implantation bleed lovely, look how strong those lines are. I can only pray for lines that strong in a few days!!

@Mellous alright thanks, I'm trying to just park it in my head for a week or so. I'll test to see if lines darken but until I'm past chemical stage I just can't process it really. I've got lower back ache and I'm really congested but otherwise totally fine!

@Babyghirl @glowingtwig @Summersun001 thank you all for the advice r.e. aspirin! I think I'll just go for it... Worst case they tell me to stop 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Mellous I'm sorry for the BFN but you're not out yet! 10dpo is still early for a result 🤞🏻

I know they wont be able to tell me either way but might be able to give me some reasurrance speaking to a nurse or a midwife or even tell me what to do now... 🤷🏼‍♀️ (which I'm sure will be wait and see 🙈)

@DMT1982 feeling a bit better thanks so much for checking in! I've banned myself from Google now and am going to focus on non ttc stuff. Its the fear of getting pregnant, it's worse than the fear of not right now.

@Pettylamby look at those lines!!! Wow what a little miracle baby if it sticks. Keep us updated xx
