Recent MC - New cycles & trying again

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

Oh wow @Pettylamby yes. I didnt want to say this as I was conscious of getting your hopes up but I was wondering if it was jsut implantation. A lot of ladies I spoke to with my previous pregnancy had had bleeding very much like a period but still been pregnant...

@AMS19 I'm still not convinced! Don't wanna be graphic but this wasn't just like a bit of spotting, it was a period flow like sitting on the toilet and it's coming out! But to be fair it only lasted a day and a bit! But it filled a pad! 🤔 And it was exactly when my period was due! I suppose there's nothing else to do but keep testing... What a mind fuck!

@Pettylamby what a mind fuck indeed! The fact it's getting darker is very strange. But agree, don't get carried away and keep testing daily. If it goes darker again over the next day or two would suggest asking your GP for bloods

Oh mannn @Pettylamby what dpo did you first test positive and what dpo are you now?

I think I first had a definite faint positive at 9dpo,darker again at 10dpo, brown spotted that evening, period came on 11dpo which is normal for me, used two pads throughout the day... 12dpo had a pad on but only pink spotting when I wiped and I took it off at night with basically nothing on it, 13dpo...today...still wiping pink but barely there... I only have these three tests as launched the lot of deleted the pics.. Can't remember when I took the first one but I the other two are 12 and 13dpo!

Surely I can't still be pregnant... I don't feel it... Im still a bit crampy but assumed that was just my period... 🙈🤔🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I will test again tomorrow and see, I really can't see me still being pregnant but stranger things have happened I suppose!

Also another thing could it be ectopic? Jesus more stress! 😂

Ah @Mellous you're not yet. Tbh I'm too scared to test. Ignorance is bliss. The result either way terrifies me.

@Pettylamby wow there is real progression. Eptopic it's more likely you would still be bleeding so I wouldn't stress too much. The fact you've stopped and the line is still get darker points more towards you still being pregnant but your hormones forced a period. After a miscarriage anything goes! Im so sorry you're in such limbo!

@AMS19 ahhh looks like I’ve ovulated! I’m officially in the TWW with you ladies. I completely get what you mean, I so desperately want to be pregnant and will be feeling pretty low if AF hits but at the same time I’m fearful of what might go wrong and know that a positive result will cause me daily anxiety. I’ll be constantly checking for blood 🤦‍♀️ X

@SuzieDeLaTour whoop! Right then let's get through this together. I'm praying for a better LP than last cycle and if period comes after 10DPO so be it. Sex is officially banned now until after period (or if all my dreams come true until 2nd trimester- won't scare my husband with that one yet 😂😂😂) xx

Oh sorry I’ve just seen the latest page of comments, didn’t show when I just posted. @Mellous I’m sorry the test wasn’t what you wanted 😔 but i think it’s a good idea to test again as it’s such early days. Still got everything crossed for you!
@Pettylamby whoa that is some progression!! I’m with others, it could have been an implantation bleed!? Oh how amazing would that be ❤️ I think you should speak to your GP or EPU and see if you can get a blood test? This is such a rollercoaster for you! X

@AMS19 ha, I’m not sure my DH will hold off until after AF but I have to admit I’m pretty relieved that I can go to bed tonight and actually just fall asleep!! 😂 oooh let’s hope this is our lucky month! 😘

Good luck @Ams19 and @SuzieDeLaTour the TWW is a wreck the head, I feel like AF will appear before shes due on Monday. Just want to start fresh again next month now at this stage

Girls, I caved. I'm so annoyed with myself. But I fell asleep at work today which I've never ever done in my life. I have what I think is the tiniest of squinters. Why have I done this to myself??? Am I going mad or is there something?

Hi ladies, just catching up on the thread. That's a wonderful thing to do @TheHotelCalifornia thank you! I'm definitely not a runner but I could build up to a 10K walk after I'm out of the danger zone (if that happens!) Testing early is not good for my mental health- I only did because of those tests in London... it just makes the wait more agonising. I haven't tested again either but I think I'll get another FRER on the way back from work and test again Saturday morning.

@Pettylamby your head must be all over the place. I would try your GP for two HCG results a few days apart. Those numbers will tell you for sure.

Thank you for the advice @Babyghirl @AMS19 I STILL haven't been called back by the private clinic and I'm now feeling so angry. We have spent so so much money so far and the results are sat there and they aren't telling me what they are!?! I feel like every hour that passes this new pregnancy is more at risk and the stress won't be helping me either. Thank you for your kind words @SuzieDeLaTour , I feel like my blood pressure is through the roof so this pregnancy will probably fail now due to the stress I've been going through the last two days.

The NHS are sending me round in circles as well literally passed from one person back to another and so on and apparently my consultant is on annual leave. The one person I did get hold of who had the results in front of her said 'sorry love, I don't understand what these mean'. 😩

So I'm just sat staring at my phone willing it to ring in the next hour with the private results. I'm a teacher so it's not going to be much good if they call me tomorrow when I'm at work with 27 year 10s sat in front of me.

So ladies after reading your discussion on it the other day, I panicked and decided to take 75mg aspirin... But now I'm worried about telling doctor/midwife I'm on it and getting a bollocking over taking it 'for no reason' 😩 it's just that all the articles and reports I read this morning said that even if it didn't help, it didn't have negative effects... So should i be ok?! Probably unrelated but i have had backache and more painful cramps this afternoon. I'm so terrified of everything!

@glowingtwig oh i feel so sorry for you, that is just incredibly frustrating! I say sod the year 10s and take the call if it comes 😜 I’m amazed that your private practice hasn’t come back to you - that’s really poor. The whole reason people go private is to go quicker! Have you told them you’re pregnant? If so I’m wondering if perhaps there’s nothing urgent / must be done immediately or else surely someone would have come back to you ASAP? X

My doc told me to take it on a bfp on 3rd and 4th pregnancy it never stopped my losses but she told me to without any investigations to if I needed it or not, but have also been told the recommended dose is now 150mg for rmc as 75mg is not affective she told me even if I don't need it it will do no harm go with your heart 💚
