Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@SlothMamaToBe I'm doing ok thanks. I'm CD9 today so waiting for ovulation. DP is home this evening for the foreseeable so can get back to DTD regularly. Got all day 3 blood results back now and have appointment with GP in 2-3 weeks time to discuss results 🙄 I'm possibly thinking Pcos. Have ultrasound booked in 2 weeks too so this will perhaps confirm what bloods are saying and still have day 21 progesterone to do to check in actually ovulating. (I think I am with OPKs and BBT so not too worried about this one). DP will hopefully arrange his SA this week too.

@SlothMamaToBe no still not temping this month. My battery for my thermometer ran out and I haven’t replaced it on purpose to give myself a bit of a break. Think I will stick to not doing it for the time being as definitely less stressy. 9dpo today seeing how long I can hold off testing - will try and last until Wednesday I think which would be 12dpo

Hi SlothMama I had a positive opk yesterday so I'm hoping I've ovulated today.

LemonDrizzle annoying that you have to wait so long to see the GP. At least your DP is home in time for ovulation this month!

I've attached my chart for this month. No sign of ovulation as far as my temps go but I did have a + opk yesterday so hopefully I'll see a rise tomorrow.

I'm 3dpo so officially in the tww. I'm not sure if I'll continue temping or not. I do enjoy the charts but I do get a bit obsessive!

@Unicornish I know exactly what u mean about being obsessed with bbt post ovulation. I intend to take it easy too this cycle once ovulation is confirmed.

@Unicornish yes it's any day between now and Mon so will keep dtd every other day 😎 also have my first app of Pfizer vaccine tomorrow not sure if this will have any effect on my cycle... will see 🤞

CD12 today and got a positive OPK. I'm on holiday next week so will be away for day 21 bloods! Unless I can leave early and make it back in time. Was really hoping I'd have a longer cycle and ovulate nearer CD19 (which I have done for last 2 months)... typical 🙄😂.

@Belle34 and @LemonDrizzle44 I think we must be around same day in cycle - CD13 here. Got positive opk yesterday too. I’ll try and carry on dtd for next 2-3 days if poss.
Got my consultant appointment this morning to discuss my results too.

@Unicornish pretty sure I ovulated overnight as had a small temp rise this morning. Which means I should have bloods next Thursday. We are coming home Friday anyway. Luckily it's just a mini break away about 3 hrs drive from home. If we leave early enough on the Friday morning, I'm hoping to make it back before 2pm which is when my local hospital close the bloods department.

Caved and tested today 13dpo BFN so I think that’s me out for this month. This was cycle #7 for us so feeling a bit down about another BFN.

Thanks @lemondrizzle44 I'm 6+1 and I swear I won't be able to hide this from the MIL for long because, although it's mainly bloating l, I definitely look pregnant already. Have a private scan booked for 10+4 which is the same time as when we had one with DD. Last time it was so they wouldn't guess when I wasn't drinking at Christmas but this time it was so we knew it's was all looking OK before my appointments start and we need random babysitters, but I think we might just have to tell them before it.

How are you feeling? Is this the first month in a while your DH has been hone right through your fertile week? Fingers crossed that works in your favour!

@ContadoraExplorer glad things are going ok so far. Have you got any other symptoms besides bloating? Hopefully you'll be able to keep it quiet a little while longer. Exciting for the early scan! Keep us updated.

Yes first time in 10 weeks DP is back home for the whole of my fertile week. DTD CD9, 11,12 and will do again tonight (CD13). Still had positive OPKs this morning so not 100% sure I ovulated last night. Hopefully we're covered 🤞🏻

@lemondrizzle44 Nausea if I don't constantly graze, tired (although I fell asleep on the sofa lots the first time and this time only once so far) and my boobs are really sore.

That's good you've managed to get lots of BD in! 🤞 this is your month!

I'm 7dpo today. I had a big temp drop yesterday but it has gone back up a bit today. Not feeling like this is my month but time will tell I suppose.

Thank you @Unicornish and @LemonDrizzle44 - appointment went well I guess. He said all my tests were normal and advised we just need to see what happens with DP’s SA next month. Interestingly he said it’s better to DTD every day during fertile week rather than every other day and that there was no evidence to say it would reduce the quality - if anything it is the opposite! Also said any position for DTD is fine. He’s booked me in for HSG which I’m quite scared about but apparently it can help clean out your tubes a bit and many people fall pregnant after.
@ContadoraExplorer lovely you are doing well, hope the nausea not too bad. It will be wonderful to have that first scan. DP has softened a bit with the reflexology idea so i reckon I could encourage him to try.
I think may have missed my ovulation day this time 😬, did the days either side but I felt unwell on the actual day and so we skipped it. Frustrating but suppose that’s going to happen sometimes!
I’ve been temping since the start of fertile week, just to keep an eye on any potential rise.
