Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

We are going on a weekend break away to Peak District - first time for ages due to Covid! So a couple drinks are planned but I don’t know whether to avoid just in case. I know what you mean about it being ridiculously early though! I’ve gone mad eating pineapple this month in the hope to help implantation 🤷🏻‍♀️ and got lots of crampy feelings today... can’t help but symptom spot!!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I did test this morning and it was stark white. Didnt have anymore frer though so used an ic. I am a little upset. But I had also prepared myself. Hope you girls have lots of luck with plenty of baby dust xx

@Drinksometeawithme sorry to hear you are feeling low... how many days dpo are you now? The IC won’t be as accurate as frer so don’t lose hope 💐

@Drinksometeawithme agreed the IC might not be sensitive enough

9dpo and my temps have increased again to almost 37 😬 trying (and failing!) not to read anything into it but looks so different to my chart last month

@drinksometeawithme sorry to hear that. IC are definitely not as sensitive (it took a good few days after I got a positive on a FRER for them to show anything) so don't give up hope 🤞

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 our bodies make it so hard to resist testing! Do you think you'll cave?

@ContadoraExplorer I’ve got no tests and I’m away this weekend. So probably not, as I’ll feel a bit crappy to get a negative. Which it’ll probably be 😂

I have none in the house and no intention of ordering any. Do have some cramping going on but had that last month too so means nothing. Busy weekend planned so won't have much time to think about it either!

I’m very slightly spotting at 10dpo, even tho my temps are still over 36.8. Think my period must be on its way early 😬 at least has saved me money on tests

Ahh you guys are all so lovely and cute. My period is due in three more days, last month luteal phase of 12 days with period on 13 dpo. So I think it i my period early. Feel a bit pmt-y.

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to join! I'm pretty new to temping and have made a few rookie errors with it, but I'd love to hear if you have any thoughts about my chart. I have broken sleep every night because of my toddler, so in order to take temps when I've had a stretch of 3 hrs the time has to vary a bit. I've used a temp converter to recalculate them (using a separate chart, hence December dates!) but I know that's not 100% accurate.

I had a peak opk on CD20 but the opks were also very positive on CD21. My sleep was all over the place then - my CD21 temp was pretty high but thought because I had 8 hours of solid sleep and waking up at 7am (rather than 2+ wakeup and temp taken at 5am). FF put ov on CD20 but don't think that was possible as only got the peak at 5pm. I reduced my CD21 temp to 36 in my chart and FF has now put ov on CD21 but do you think CD23 makes more sense? That would make me 9dpo rather than 11dpo.

Also, however before my period would I expect to see a temperature drop if not preg? Had a BFN this morning 😭

@Noodella18 hello! I’m really not a bbt expert, only dabbling a bit myself. I get ovulation confirmed the day after my first positive opk normally. So I’d expect your crosshairs to be right. However your chart does look a bit like day 23, but it’s hard to tell with amendments to the temp recordings. Hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along soon. I’ll attach my chart, found it so useful to compare to others when i wasn’t sure

Here you go. To answer your last question, last month my temps dropped the day before period was due

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks, yeah I know, i thought that a day after opk was standard but the temp jump at CD 24 really made me doubt it! I've attached the chart with the unadjusted temps too (March 31, the December one is where I've used the temp converter.) I have adjusted the CD21 temp on both charts though cause I just think it was off!

Hi @noodella18 maybe FF has detected ovulation on cd21 because of your recorded CM & positive OPKs. How long is your cycle usually?

I'm just a little over 5 weeks now & my symptoms seem to come and go! Very swollen and full boobs, stabbing type stretching pains every now and again, up to go to the toilet every couple of hours during the night & find myself crying at absolutely anything and everything! Booking in for an early scan in a couple of weeks!

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 still holding out? I have been feeling nauseous for the last two days but I haven't tested yet. I'm actually kinda hoping the nausea is just a bug or being overtired because I didn't really have any with my first pregnancy so I really hope I don't have it with my second!), I don't cope well feeling sick! 🙈

@ContadoraExplorer you and me both, haven’t tested yet! Mainly because I think my period is coming.... temp dropped slightly again today, had a little more spotting tonight, and just not really feeling it. Good luck for when you test! Is it tomorrow?
