@Marvellouslymadmum I hear you re disgusting protein things. I've been having spirulina powder since Monday and it tastes like pond slime. Holding my nose while drinking it has helped!

I did my trigger shot last night so it's all on for egg collection in the morning! My DP just brought me my kefir protein bottle shaking it and saying he was practicing for his sample tomorrow lol!

@Marvellouslymadmum it's unusual to find a 'nice' thing to have for helping conceive 😂
I don't think I actually got static smileys every month when I tested before but when I told my gp or fertility consultant I'd be tracking using them they said about them not being right because of PCOS but because my consultant said I don't have PCOS, just PCO that I tried them this cycle again (been about a year since I last used them). Have you heard anything back from the scan clinic?

@Motherofkittens28 that spirulina sounds gross 🤢 How are you feeling for tomorrow and in general with all the meds?

@crazydoglady123 I'm doing ok thanks, some twinges in my ovaries since doing the trigger but not really anything to bother about. I'm pretty nervous about tomorrow, not the procedure itself just the results. Really hoping we get 3 mature eggs, although more would of course be great. Then the next worry will be whether they fertilise, that will be enlightening i think, we should be told that Tuesday lunchtime.

@Crazydoglady123 what's the difference between pcos and pco?

@Motherofkittens28 aww I bet. I really hope you do! Stay positive. Have you got lots to keep your mind off things until you get the results? I feel that wait will drive anyone crazy!

I'm not really sure. I think PCO is just lots of cysts on your ovaries but PCOS you get all the symptoms like weight gain, acne, not ovulating, hair problems. But seeing that I'm not ovulating again and got the fake LH/estrogen surge on my OPKs this month I'm not sure if PCO can cause that? I wish I asked these questions to my consultant at the time 🙈

@Crazydoglady123 ive got literally nothing to take my mind of it as I'm off work and will be until after test day! Im glad to have the time off and no stress but part of me thinks the distraction of work might have helped time go faster!

@Motherofkittens28 have you got any good series to binge watch?

@Motherofkittens28 good luck for tomorrow! Sending positive vibes your way for eggies and fertilisation! How about making a list of things to do in the tww. like going for short walks, starting a new book, watching your favourite movie, baking something you've never tried before, starting a hobby (a calm one like painting)?

@notyetamumbuttrying I got my static today! I'm quite surprised actually as I got nothing like a peak last month but typical as this is the month the doc is taking tests to see if I'm ovulating! 🙄

@Motherofkittens28 I will give that a go, also thinking of splitting it up and having less each time as a pint is just too much to stomach! Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow!

Have been TTC for 2years 5 months now after 2 children and a MC 3.5 years ago (was on the pill for short while after that)with ex DS's father.. me and my OH but have 2 children I have maybe suspected endo but have regular cycles and ovulated regularly according to a blood test and cheapie opks considering IVF in the summer have done a month of clomid this month's due on tomorrow two negative PT so far so not hopeful was just so wishing for it to happen naturally dono what's going on feels so deflated about it all.. thought maybe before we was DTD far to much everyday every month.. I'm on waiting list to been seen by a gynea but I have had several blood tests and scan and all seems fine :( loving all your supportively to each other I don't tell anyone about what's happening my mum is a midwife but she not all that supportive tbh so reaching out :)

Thanks @MIW01 I'm gutted but in a weird way kind of relived that the pressure has been taken off us for a bit.

Got my pre op assessment March 25th so a little while to wait yet as nhs aren't doing any routine surgery at the moment where I am but they are hoping to start again soon due to covid cases dropping 🤞🏻

@Herehoping93 hi and welcome, hope you manage to get some answers soon, it's so frustrating isn't it! I've got some tests booked soon but so far have been ttc for a long time with nothing going on, also had a mc just under 4 years ago and again recently so I'm now on the suppliment train and doing everything I can to try and help! I know how you feel with not telling family, I just feel like they wouldn't really get it as my sisters and mum never had any difficulties. Lots of lovely helpful supportive ladies here though

Thanks all @narwhal and @Crazydoglady123 any box set suggestions? I have a book my OH bought me for my birthday that I've been saving and I bought a dvd of Sanditon as a bridgerton substitute. Also have some quilting to work on (I've had all the fabric for a baby quilt for ages but won't start on that until we get a BFP!).

@Marvellouslymadmum CD20 today so just hanging around waiting for AF to arrive so I can start Clomid. Have my AMH and AFC a week on Tuesday so that'll feel like progress.

@Marvellouslymadmum as long as you do today and tomorrow or either or, you're fine! I'm ok thanks, just paid for my afc scan a week on Monday and filled out all the consent forms and questionnaires with the private clinic. Just hope we get my amh results and his SA results bk in time from the nhs!!😬 I hosted a virtual baby shower today and really enjoyed it!! Even all the baby chat didn't make me sad, what's wrong with Me 😂

@Herehoping93 hi, defo welcome here! If you think you might have endo you need a laparoscopy to truly diagnose it. The wait in my area (SE London) is a year to be seen 😱 has your OH had an SA done?

@Marvellouslymadmum thank you they said up to six are allowed in a row, I struggled a bit with ovulation this month I was severely bloated and in pain on the side for days and so many pregnancy symptoms but there also increased so having a very strange month. Had headaches for 2 straight weeks with it also and only in 50mg so not sure I want to go again. But my severe swollen belly and pain could also be the symptoms I've been having for years with the randoms spotting suggesting the endo.. I'm not that big so it's extremely noticeable I look like a have a pregnant bump when it happens during ovulation and just before period with severe pains.
Hope all you test results come back ok and have read through chat about there suppliments etc sounds interesting may get some pomegranate juice lol. I am the eldest of 7 youngest being 3years old so my mum have never had a problem lol. @notyetamumbuttrying I'm in East Sussex been referred to Brighton hospital have had a letter to say I've been triaged and awaiting an appointment to see a consultant not sure in the waiting times here. There saw nothing in my scan whatsoever but have been diagnosed previously with 4 bouts of sopposed pelvic inflammatory infections once before the kids at 15 with a stay in hospital as was in so much pain when there was nothing to even cause it was just palmed off with antibiotics everytime. When I was on the pill I seem to have no pain or get the apparent infection. I also have IBS and a gluten sensitivity. .. my OH has not had one yet his youngest is 10years old he will be having a SA very soon if we have to go the IVF route soon but he a nightmare to get to a doctor's expecially as they want to do a blood test .. just so want it to happen before all that costs of the IVF etc so much and obvs not entitled to help as both have children separately 😖..
