We're a mixed bunch of ladies ttc with all sorts of issues, mainly of the male factor kind! 😏 Though there's a range of reasons over here, come join if you've been in the ttc game for a long time and had nearly every test under the sun ☀️ and heading for interventions. There's ivf chat as well as natural. Buckling up for the ride of their lives are our usual riders: 😎

@Annny27 29, ttc #1 since June 2019, 1 miscarriage in nov 19 👼🏻
@RobinRose 27, ttc #1 since Oct 2019

@Motherofkittens28 39, #1 since aug 2019

@Annny27 ahh that's annoying just thought they may be one to chacknas they don't check them as standard for fertility issues. Don't be embarrassed though we've all got our hopes up at some point!

@crazycatlady1981 that looks like a great colouring book!

@Narwhal88 we barely ever drink at home but if we went out and actually saw people we normally would have 2/3 it's usually the in-laws that would spot it haha

@2020mission I only started having tests in February after almost 3 years ttc so I'm pretty far behind too lol

Crazydoglady123 · 17/03/2021 19:44

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying I've got it for both of us this month.

My details

2020mission · 17/03/2021 19:53

@notyetamumbuttrying haha no worries I have been quiet lately! I'm 33, TTC #1 since January 2020. I'm almost at the end of cycle 15 now.

First injection done! Did it myself and didn't hesitate as didn't want to freak myself out 🤣 didn't hurt at all, though I imagine they do once your stomach is bruised!

Crazydoglady123 · 17/03/2021 20:20

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks! I decided £30 on supplements vs £1255 extra for ICSI was worth a gamble 🤓 Currently sat watching about an hours worth of videos and modules to do our consent 😴

@Narwhal88 go girl! That is a teeny needle

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/03/2021 20:35

@Narwhal88 well done 👏🏾
@Crazydoglady123 exactly! That was my thoughts on it too and it paid off. Good going on the vids 👍🏾

@narwhal88 the needles are quite small that's awesome ❤ how long will you be in the "stim" phase

@notyetamumbuttrying yep I wanted to announce our pregnancy last years anniversary 😂😂😂

Annny27 · 17/03/2021 21:02

@motherofkittens28 we are thinking of you ❤

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/03/2021 21:07

@Narwhal88 ooh well done! I'm not sweetish at all but never had to give myself an injection before lol

Do you need my details? I'll be a different age at the end of next week 😑

Narwhal88 · 17/03/2021 21:35

@Annny27 @Crazydoglady123 yes needles are tiny thankfully! Not sure if they all are though. Stims length can vary so not sure, think between 8-12 days, they check what's going on at each scan. My husband is also on Proxeed plus by the way!
@Marvellouslymadmum yeah neither am I but this was the first time doing an injection! I've had so many injections over the last few years I think I've just got so used to them haha. I get B12 injections every 10 weeks and they are painful so this was nothing.

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/03/2021 21:39

@Narwhal88 oh that's good! I feel like a pin cushion sometimes with the amount of blood tests I have haha

Crazydoglady123 · 17/03/2021 21:59

@Narwhal88 @notyetamumbuttrying do you use the female version too? I did ours tonight and his looked like piss and mine looked like a glass of Sunny Delight 🤣

Juno231 · 17/03/2021 22:17

@notyetamumbuttrying 33, since Jan 2020, #1 - thank you!

@2020mission haha I feel you! I had a whole page of crap like average cycle length, dtd stats, average period length etc and then my appointment was 13 min long and she didn't give a crap about any of it! Glad you got the ball rolling though!

@Marvellouslymadmum tsh is your thyroid hormone. It should be below 2.5 for ttc or it can cause subfertility, miscarriages or foetal brain damage. Mine is 3+ but the NHS won't really look at it unless it hits 4 🤷‍♀️

Marvellouslymadmum · 17/03/2021 22:26

@Juno231 ahh that's makes sense! Something I may need checking as thyroid issues run in the family

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/03/2021 22:34

@Annny27 I'm always thinking of nice moments in time when we can announce. Batshit aren't we 😂
@Marvellouslymadmum I'll put you down as 42 if you want?! I best give myself my Friday age as well! 🙄
@Crazydoglady123 no I don't. I just take folic acid, vit d and coQ10. Sunny D sounds fab tho! Used to love that 😝 does it taste anywhere near it?! 😉 Dh just downs his and goes yuck 🤮 afterwards 😂
@Juno231 cheers chick! 😘

@notyetamumbuttrying I think I'll remain 41 for the next ten days, we'll probably be on the next bus by then anyway 😂

RobinRose · 17/03/2021 22:51

@notyetamumbuttrying is it really time for a new bus?! 27, Ttc 18months, no.1

@Narwhal88 you go girl!

notyetamumbuttrying · 17/03/2021 22:59

@Marvellouslymadmum probably 😂 41 it is! 👍🏾
@RobinRose we've got more passengers now toot toot 🚍
@clolo thanks hun!

Narwhal88 · 18/03/2021 06:50

@Crazydoglady123 no I don't I just take pregnacare, methylfolate (natural form of folic acid), omega 3 and vitamin d. Try mixing the Proxeed plus in orange juice, my husband says it's a LOT better.

crazycatlady1981 · 18/03/2021 07:31

@notyetamumbuttrying can’t believe we’re all getting on another bus so soon!
39, actively ttc #1 since October 2018, ivf hopefully in May

@Narwhal88 well done on your first injection! 👏🏻 thank you for the photo of the needle, so glad it’s quite small! I find it really useful to know these things ahead of time as I keep having worries about giant needles!! 😱💉
