7 high days opk no peak yet!

Hi,

I’ve been ttc for around 7 months. Brought my first opk this month.

I had one day negative and just had my 7th day of high opk. This is now day 17.

Cycle is normally around 30/31 days.

Any advice or has anyone else had multiple high opks?

@BellaBoo7 the strips didn’t arrive till last night so didn’t think it would be accurate as I’d had lots of water etc... then forgot I’d got them this morning. Did a clearblue that was flashing again, My CM suggests I’m now past ovulation as it’s changed since few days ago 🤔. X.

@AZ1992X tbh this month I haven’t really seen a cm change. What day are you now? X

@BellaBoo7 day 24 now. It’s normally around 31-32 cycle so just waiting for AF now and will start again next cycle. X.

I’m new to all of this.. but was looking for some advice.. I’m driving myself up the wall!!

I ovulated on the 1st April.. had intercourse 5 times as well as my ovulation date and been having symptoms since 1dpo!

1dpo: mild cramps
2dpo: mild cramps and a little nausea
3dpo: extremely nauseated and mild cramps, never ate much that day at all (couldn’t stomach it)
4dp: bad cramps, nauseous, and Called NHS 24 and the nurse said it’s possible to have symptoms at this stage!
5dpo: still sore, occasionally feel nauseous.
6dpo: sore pains in my bits (TMI sorry) and wee bit sickness.

Has anyone experienced any of this and if so did they get a BFP?

@bex95 that all sounds very positive. I think all of us on this thread are chasing the bfp so prob can’t offer much advice I’m afraid. Is this different to other months for you?

@BellaBoo7 you think? And yeah very very different for me!! Never had this before! How about you? I’m driving myself insane testing

@bex95 let us know how you get on 😊. I’m only 2dpo on my first month taking b6 and have no symptoms at all, I’m just hoping for a longer leutal phase this month

So I’m now 7dpo, and took a clear blue test this morning! I have a very very faint line going to take another one come Sunday! Or maybe before just to double check!! But it’s looking positive!!! How are you both getting on? Anymore symptoms?

I’ve noticed some CM last few days but this month it was hard to track so not really sure when my ovulation date was. Currently cd28 and normally 32 cycle. Might test Saturday 😊

Hopefully get it on Sunday🤞🏼

Took a test this morning and bfn , I know it’s still few days until AF but got feeling that’s it for this month.

Hi @BellaBoo7 how you getting on? Any symptoms yet? I’m waiting for AF on day 31 so should be any day now was 32 last month.

@AZ1992X don’t be disheartened yet you aren’t out yet. How did you get on with the doctor?

I am currently 6dpo I’m hoping for at least a 10 day luteal this month. Not sure if it’s the b6 but I haven’t had any symptoms this 2ww normally my nipples are sore instantly after ovulation 🤷‍♀️

I guess, will just wait and see 😊

Well it ended up being a nurse and she took all my details and added onto the system but she said i needed a consultation with a doctor. she’s booked me in with someone this Friday so will wait and see what they say, have feeling they will say need to wait until a year of trying!

I didn’t get past the nurse when I called so it’s a good sign 🤞🏼. How long have you been ttc?

@BellaBoo7 if AF arrives this will be cycle 9 I would be going into. Are you similar?

@AZ1992X I’m a bit earlier than you this is cycle 3 so next one will be 4 which I know is it early days but it’s so hard not to worry when u are tracking things x

@BellaBoo7 yeah it doesn’t make it any easier each time AF arrives.

I wish I started tracking sooner only started tracking the last two cycles, if I had known it would take so long I’d started earlier.

@AZ1992X we are similar months in terms of tracking then as ive tracked since coming off the pill as I was worried what 17 years of being on it would have done to me 🤦‍♀️ I’ve only temped one month though and made the other half hide the thermometer as I found that really tough going x

@BellaBoo7 I cannot remember how long I was on the pill but was over 10+years so didn’t have a period during that time - mine did take a few months for my periods to return fully.

I’m starting the easy @ homes opk this month to see how I get on with them. I’ve brought a thermometer but not sure how that will go X

@AZ1992X let me know what you think of those opk’s i have one brand (no brand on the packet) I quite like and I don’t like the one step ones.

I just found it hard going to take my temp at the same time and was worrying when the cats woke me up that would alter the results so I just found it stressful. I’m sure you’ll be fine with it though I just find it easier to dip a stick 😂 x

Hey @BellaBoo7 how you getting on? Hopefully no signs yet of AF?

Based on last month AF should be due today, have had some cramping and bloating etc so think it maybe on its way.

@AZ1992X fingers crossed it isn’t coming for you. How long is your luteal phase normally?

I’m 8dpo today last month af arrived on day 9. I had some cramping yest so am expecting it tbh but hoping I’ve managed to lengthen my luteal. No pregnancy signs tho either so not holding out hope for that x

@BellaBoo7 yup would be nice but not getting my hopes up as feel like these are pms symptoms.

If I’m honest I don’t know really as not tracked long enough, last month I got a peak it was around 12 days after but I don’t know when I ovulated this month as they was all high so makes it harder to know if I ovulated later or same time.

Just a waiting game, I’m not testing now unless I go another few days and no AF.
