7 high days opk no peak yet!

Hi,

I’ve been ttc for around 7 months. Brought my first opk this month.

I had one day negative and just had my 7th day of high opk. This is now day 17.

Cycle is normally around 30/31 days.

Any advice or has anyone else had multiple high opks?

@AZ1992X that’s interesting hopefully knowing that will help you time it right.

My lh is still pretty low I did a cheap test alongside the Clearblue in the hopes I could switch from the expensive ones but I didn’t even have a second line this morning x

That’s annoying! I use the cb ones too and there not cheap are they. I’m hoping if I have another month and I get exactly the same pattern I may stop as I’ll know when it is every month.

@AZ1992X yeah I think if you keep having the same pattern you should be fine or just get the cheap ones to confirm it x

@AZ1992X how are you getting on I am cd18 on day 5 of flashing smileys 🤦‍♀️

Hey @BellaBoo7 I’m still flashing, thought it may have been today! Really hoping it’s tomorrow 😔. I’ve just noticed I’ve been starting testing too early based on my cycle length too - it says I should of started cd15 and I started cd13.

@BellaBoo7 think it’s 8 but if I’d started when I should have would been 6. Really hope it comes soon 😔. Might contact the gp if it don’t and see if they’ll do any tests check my hormone levels are normal! X

@AZ1992X hopefully they do something. I rang mine about the short leutal phase and they said I have to wait a year x

@BellaBoo7 well I’ve rang and got a telephone appointment next Friday so will see what they say and if they will do any tests! Not getting my hopes up they will though x.

@BellaBoo7 it’s flashing again but the lines starting to look quite dark so hopefully it’s nearly there! Also noticed CM last night and this morning which was around a day before my peak last time. How you get on today? X

@AZ1992X yay fingers crossed for you tomorrow. I am still flashing but the line was a bit darker and there was a feint one on the cheap sticks I’m now cd20

@BellaBoo7 think I’m just ruling this month out - line looks slightly lighter so not sure if I’ve had the peak already. The line yesterday was almost as dark as the test line. I think I’m going start using the easy@home opks from next month fed up all these smiley faces. Let know how you get on x

@AZ1992X still flashing but cb lines are practically the same as each other but one step is still quite feint 🤞🏼For tomorrow x

Im on day 8 of flashing faces. Slightly fed up of seeing flashing faces now! Not really sure where i am in my cycle as haven't had my AF since my very early miscarriage early March.

@Fizzybelts I’m sorry to hear that 😢. You’ve joined the right thread to moan about flashing smileys tho, today is day 8 for me as well! X

Hey, its so annoying isnt it. Ive always used clear blue, im now on cycle 9 so ive just ordered easy @ home ones from amazon to try and the price soon adds up.
Ive never had 8 flashy faces before, i think the max ive had is 7 but like i said im not sure where i am in my cycle.
I did have a late ovulation once around CD22 so dont give up x

I agree the clearblue are very expensive, I’ve got the easy @ home coming today but will probably be the next cycle I start using them.

@Fizzybelts last month I was cd23 when I ovulated it’s so frustrating. I ordered one step after seeing people used them alongside the cb in the hopes of swopping but I’m not liking them so far x

I got my peak this morning on cd22. The one step are still showing really feint though so I really don’t recommend those x

@BellaBoo7 glad you’ve got your peak! , I’m not quite sure what’s happening with me - got my appointment next Friday so will see if they will do any tests. X.

@AZ1992X did you continue with the sticks to see if it came later? X
