Hello .

This is my second month ttc baby #1. I am using OPKs and Conceive Plus. Currently on CD7. Definitely underestimated how much of a rollercoaster ttc would be!

Anyone want to join and share experiences?

I am also trying for baby #1 and in my first month of tracking and trying. I completely understand, I'm finding it mind boggling, scary, exciting and disappointing all at the same time!

I'm using the Clear blue advanced ovulation kit, aswell as some cheap test strips. No sign of ovulation yet, but I keep reading 'high fertility' days for the last 7 days. No peak just yet!

@Frandler it really is a whirlwind. I’m trying not to overthink everything but that seems impossible!

I’m also using the clearblue advanced. I got my static smiley on CD13 last month after having 6 flashing smileys but my cycles vary slightly each month so think it’ll probably be different this month. I think you get more flashing smileys the first month as it’s still trying to recognise your hormone levels (apparently). I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that you get a static soon!!

This month I have started taking conceive plus ovulation support.

Hello! I'm also TTC baby #1 and way more stressed out than the relaxed approach my partner and I discussed! CD16; got my smiley on clear blue on Sunday so now the waiting game..!

@wildthingss it’s definitely easier said than done isn’t it! Fingers crossed for a positive this month. I did tests way too early last month so going to try and hold out until af due this month. Waiting is the hardest part.

@Sparkles512 fingers crossed! Are you using OPKs? Im using pregnacare but they’ve made my cycles slightly longer so thinking about trying others if it happens again this month. Might give the conceive plus ones a go - I’m currently using their lubes.

@ave93 yes I've got some cheap OPKs but I'm useless at remembering to do them and reading them 🙈😂
I also have the CP lube to try this month 🤞

@Sparkles512. I’ve heard good things about the CP and pressed lube so hopefully it’ll work for us! I’m exactly the same 😂 - I bought the clearblue ones last month as I was struggling to read the lines! They’re not cheap though so hoping I don’t have to buy too many more.

Hi guys! Brand new to the site, I hope you don’t mind me joining in

I’m 27, almost 28 and ttc #1, this will be my first month officially trying, my partner and I have never used protection and it’s never happened for us in 6 years, so I’m a little apprehensive, BUT, we weren’t super proactive with our baby dancing previously, I’ve given up smoking (a year or so now) and dropped some weight (down to 22.9 bmi, so in the ‘recommended’ area) so I’m hopeful!!

I’m on cycle day 14- (average of 38 days) and my fertile window is coming up at the end of next week (hopefully)

Might try OPKs as I have some left over from the first few tries, but mainly will track by CM and just doing the deed every 2-3 days, more during the fertile week

@Kukitrix I'm exactly the same, have not used protection in years but haven't actively 'tried' have been I guess more careful!

I used the clear blue sticks a fews days prior to when the Flo app predicted and it was spot on - I'm now on CD17 of usually 26-28 days.

@wildthingss I’ve got some of those OPKs left, they do usually indicate peak around the time I’d expect it to! I saw above you’ve had your peak, so you’re in TWW now?

@Kukitrix yes! It's agony haha. I am so impatient and it's only day 3! I'm also really trying not to symptom spot to much, though I am tracking some so I can differentiate between ovulation symptoms & possible pregnancy symptoms if it doesn't happen this month!

Mind if I join? I’m 26, about to be 27 and this will be our first baby. We started ttc at the end of last year, got pregnant first try but miscarried.

So this is our first month back to trying. I’m actually 9dpo today, got a tiny bit of brown spotting last night so am hopeful, not holding my breath just yet though.

I tried an IC this morning, but got a BFN. Saving my FRER for Friday/Saturday morning.

@wildthingss it’s awful isn’t it? I actually was two weeks late last month and had some symptoms but then of course, AF, THEN to add insult to injury, a friend of mine (who wasn’t TYC) got a BFP two weeks later, this made me realise that actually I don’t want to leave it up to chance any more!

@Kukitrix Haha I was literally saying to my partner how on earth do people have accidents when this is down to a fine science for us!!

@wildthingss I know, to make it worse they’ve been together for less than 6 months, whereas we are together for 6 years! Makes me feel a little broken 😫

@Leesha94. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It does sound like it could be implantation bleeding that you’re having - hopefully you’ll get a bfp soon, not long to wait now either.

What cheaper OPKs are you ladies using? I’m currently using clearblue but tempted to get some cheaper ones to use alongside in the afternoons.

@Ave93 I just use the easy at home strips and upload pictures daily to the Premom app. It works for me, but I know the cheaper strips don’t work for everyone.

On Cycle 7 but this is the first month of using clear blue opk. got my static on cd13 & have been trying to dtd every other day
The 2ww is the worst part 🙈

@rosiej95. The more the merrier. I’m also going with the every other day method! I’ve heard SMEP is good so tempted to give that a try this month. 2ww is the worst - how many dpo are you now?

I'm TTC baby number 1! first cycle trying - due on AF on the 3rd so waiting to see how it goes !! 😍

I've been tracking ovulation for a few months now though, wanted to figure out my cycle before we started trying ☺️ xx

@Ave93 I've heard that's good too! I looked into it but don't think my boyfriend would be able to cope 😂😂
Sometimes getting him to dtd every couple of days is enough 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
So I got my static on Saturday so I'm either 3 or 4 dpo First time doing opk & I don't know weather to count the first day of my static or the second day? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m new here TTC baby #1, have just received my Amazon goodies so I am all set to start tracking. I think I have read every website and advice possible. Think my partner is already sick of me talking none stop and we have only just started! So hoping to find some similar minded crazy ladies to help us get through this.

@Timetobeamummy ah bless you! I'm the same I've pre started taking folic acid a few months ago and tracking ovulation to prepare and my other half is sick of me talking about it now 😂😂
