Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?

Hi! :)

I'm 4dpo today. Had a mc last cycle so this cycle is all over the place. My boobs are currently so sore it is making me (probably foolishly) hopeful.

I'd love to get a thread running for some support. Anyone want to join?

Congrats @BrodieKD! Wonderful news.

Very sadly I've just had a chemical at 5 weeks. Absolutely heartbroken. Has anyone else been through one? Feeling broken by the whole experience. Onwards to another cycle I suppose.

coffee1988 · 06/04/2021 14:34

@Catmum55566 just spotted your last post. You're not out yet. I had a negative at 11dpo. I didn't get a faint bfp until 12dpo so I wouldn't rule it out yet x

Catmum55566 · 06/04/2021 18:25

@coffee1988 I am so sorry to hear this. I assume you have had bleeding and negative tests? I had an early mc around 4 and half week and then one at exactly 6 weeks. The first one didn't affect my cycle at all really and I just had a heavier 'period' and then ovulated around the same time, pregnant again next cycle. Unfortunatley the 2nd one disturbed my cycle more, I hope it's not tmi but I passed a sac and there was lots of bleeding. However it was all over quite quickly. Still got a faint line on a test a few days later. This my 2nd cycle following and cycle is still not back to normal. Everyone is different though and lots of people cycles got back to normal straight away. Sending lots of love and we are all here to support each other x

Toastedsesame · 06/04/2021 20:23

Oh no @coffee1988 I am so sorry to hear that. In the cycle before my current pregnancy in January I had a chemical pregnancy at about 5 weeks. It sucked, so I am so sorry you're going through it. It wasn't that much bleeding for me, probably less than a period and it was over quite quickly. I ovulated as normal and conceived next cycle, currently almost 10 weeks pregnant.

Take care of yourself.

@Catmum55566 that’s awful. Poor poor you. It’s really horrendous I must say. Emotionally and physically. I haven’t dared do another test but the line become very faint yesterday, I had cramps in the afternoon and then bleeding started this morning so I don’t think there is any question really. Had a call with the doctor who said for some reason women are actually more fertile in the few months after a miscarriage so I’m just hoping that’s the case and maybe I’ll get lucky soon. It’s just never ending :-(

@Toastedsesame that’s really encouraging to hear. Goes along with what the dr told me about hopefully being more fertile directly after. Fingers crossed anyway. There has to be some sort of silver lining!

Toastedsesame · 06/04/2021 20:37

Sorry not sure why that posted twice! @coffee1988 Yes although right now things are raw, hopefully it will be a silver lining for you.

Morning all. Well I am fed up of TTC today, I am 12dpo based on my app that goes off peak opk and 14 dpo on FF based on temps. Looks like I am having another chemical pregnancy which is delaying AF. I have a faint line on a FRER and a cheapie. I really feel like giving up on TTC at this point!!

Toastedsesame · 08/04/2021 08:40

@Catmum55566 I see it! What is the line like on frer? I wouldn't count yourself out yet! 🤞

coffee1988 · 08/04/2021 09:04

no don't rule yourself out!! This could be really good news. Implantation can happen as late as 12dpo so don't panic yet. It may have only just happened so give it a couple of days for levels to rise, test again and cross all fingers.

Catmum55566 · 08/04/2021 09:06

@Toastedsesame the FRER is vvvv faint pink! Tbh FRER always show up later for me anyway, even when a digi works! I just know it can't be a viable pregnancy at this stage. Even if I am only 12 dpo the line should be stronger at this point. This will be the longest cycle yet and getting fed up of not even getting 1 chance per month now. I have had all the blood tests the GP can do and a scan of my uterus etc, all came back normal. However something can't be right...so not really sure how to move forward, which is frustrating.

Catmum55566 · 08/04/2021 09:11

Thanks @coffee1988 - we must have posted at the same time so I didn't see this message. How are you doing?

coffee1988 · 08/04/2021 09:24

@Catmum55566 I can completely understand. It's so frustratingly when it's totally out of your control and your body doesn't behave the way you want to! Just try and sit tight and see what happens. You'll know in a couple of days if your levels are rising. I've read plenty of stories about ladies not getting strong lines until 15dpo so you never know.

I'm OK. Couple of dark days but much better today. Although I only bled for 1 day really which I'm worried about (although it was pretty heavy). Not really sure if that means I've had AF or whether it's still to come. Want to know where this puts me on my cycle! Also if I only bled for 1 day maybe that doesn't set me up too well for the next cycle!?

@Toastedsesame when you had your chemical you mentioned you didn't bleed as much as a period but then went on to get pregnant on the next cycle?

Also still had a v faint positive yesterday afternoon (caved and tested for no reason whatsoever) but guess the HCG stays in your system for a while after...?

Catmum55566 · 08/04/2021 10:20

@Coffee1988 yes it is frustrating. I don't know why but I just busted out a digital and it says pregnant! Will just leave it for now and see how things pan out.

Sorry you have had a tough few days. I would could the day of your bleed as CD1. As hard as it is, I would keep taking hgc tests every few days until you get a negative. Then you will know when you get pregnant in future that it is a new pregnancy. The 2nd time around I didn't get a negative till about 8 or 9 days after my bleeding stopped. I know it's hard to look at the positives but it is really positive that you can get pregnant. Also @Toastedsesame got pregnant the cycle after a chemical and so do so many other women and they have successful pregnancies. I think it's something to do with the body being primed for it or something. When do you usually ovulate? You might find it could even be earlier than usual this cycle!

coffee1988 · 08/04/2021 10:28

@Catmum55566 great news on the digital! Sit tight and all fingers crossed for your next test. Will you hold out for a couple of days or do you think you'll cave tomo?

Yes, trying to see the silver lining. At least I can get pregnant and hopefully as you say the next couple of months I might have more chance. I usually ovulate around day 13-17, last month was about cd 16 I think so I've got a way to go. Problem is my husband has to travel for work for a week from 26th April. Praying it happens before then and it hasn't been delayed by this whole situation (or that France get's stuck on the red list so he can't go!!). Would be just my luck that I ovulate whilst he away! Going to be a nerve wracking month :-(
