@whatsthecraic91 yep I was quite pleased with the line. It wasn't that dark initially but has darkened when dried. But still a good line initially :)

How is your 2nd pregnancy differing from first?

@Annny27 congratulations. Is this a natural TTC cycle?

@xjustagirlx yep just natural conception (4 months after my laproscopy so perhaps that has helped!)

Do you get monitored like a medicated fet?

@Annny27 yeah I go in on day 9 to check my lining snd every second day until it’s thick enough but it has to get thick enough before i ovulate naturally. I usually ovulate on day 17 but I have ovulated on day 11.

@XjustagirlX is there a reason they need to do it before you ovulate naturally? Just wondering, maybe I’m being dim.

We didn’t do the transfer in the end. I’ve had breathing difficulties since Saturday, and I’m sure it’s a touch of ohss which will only get worse if the transfer works. Doctor said best to play it safe and do it when I’m feeling better. We have three good quality blasts frozen now, and another two a day behind which we’ll get an update on tomorrow. Really hoping they catch up but if it’s three then that’s great too. Three is also how many transfers we have funded on the nhs.

@xjustagirlx so they will transfer the embryo 5 or so days after natural ovulation

@thislittlebird haha I never know whether to respond to news on both or just one thread as otherwise ita just repeating myself haha 🤣 but i really think is fabulous that they are freezing them as FETs are more successful!

P.s just did a digital test and got the 2-3 weeks mark at 12dpo

@thislittlebird i started to develop ohss. It’s upsetting but it’s best to wait until your body is better. Can you go again next cycle? Does your CCG not let you transfer all frozen embryos and class that as one cycle?

They will put an embryo in 5 days after ovulation. I think it’s something to do with the hormones released after ovulation. Or maybe if I ovulate then my body will think I’m not pregnant but then an ET happens and it confuses it. I dunno really.

@XjustagirlX my ccg only allows three transfers but they might allow more than one in each transfer, unlikely we’ll have that many though. Think I have to wait until April now because it’ll be my cycle after this next one, so late April all being well. Feels like ages.

@Annny27 second pregnancy is absolutely flying! No where near as anxious this time & I'm really looking forward to my planned C-section! Can't wait to get the date! 2-3 weeks at 12DPO is fab 🙌🏼

@Annny27 i went for my first lining scan on Monday on CD9 it was 4.9mm. So it’s similar to my medicated cycles considering I’m a couple of days early compared to them. I had two leading follicles but they were only 8mm so it looks like ovulation isn’t imminent. Which I thick is good coz it gives my lining more time to thicken.

I’m going back tomorrow to see what it’s doing. On my baseline scan before egg collection so with no drugs, my lining got to 6mm naturally.

I think the consultant will let me go at 6mm as she said some people just have a thin lining and I am right at the lowest end of BMI which she said means thinner lining.

How's the lining looking now? And are you allowed to have sex or do they day not to incase you release and egg and that also gets fertilised?

@Annny27 yes had an EMCS. Having elective this time as I found it a breeze! Nice to be able to arrange childcare etc & know when it's all happening 😆 hoping to get my date soon!

@whatsthecraic91 elective will be so much calmer as well as you will know how to prepare and get things set up at home for recovery etc!

And I am 6 weeks on Friday so I imagine more symptoms will come but at the moment it's just sore boobs, bloating and some gagging/retching haha

My egg transfer is booked for next Wednesday!

My lining started shrinking but then when my follicle started to grow quite late on the lining went up. It’s only 5.4mm but that’s ok for me. IVe still got a few days for it to increase too.

My embryo transfer was yesterday. I had a really full bladder but we were delayed for over an hour so I just emptied it and kept drinking more water.

They defrosted one embryo snd it thawed ok so 8 left in the freezer.

I was quite annoyed really as I have had 3 really painful experiences when going through my cervix and I’m really anxious and have an extremely tilted utérus. I phoned up to ask about sedation and pain relief. The nurses fobbed me off and said just take two paracetamol.

The nurse failed to get it through the cervix coz it’s so tilted and I was in pain. They had to call the consultant to do it instead. They said that I should have sedation in future, it should have been on my notes and they will make sure they add it to my notes now.
