@Lozzlepop things are great thanks 16+3. We found out today we are having a girl! So will have one of each, can't believe how lucky I am xx

Well my fet was cancelled and I had a follow up call with the consultant who actually told me I could start on my next period instead of waiting until end of January.

However because of the Christmas closures I was going to miss the cycle anyway.

But I requested noristerine (sp?) to delay my period by a week. So I will stop taking that on Boxing Day and then when my period arrives a few days later I can start a new cycle.

The estrogen tablets E2 that I was on get converted into E1. For the new cycle I am using patches which give me E1 directly.

@XjustagirlX so do you have to start taking meds over Christmas? Hopefully it works out ok this time.

I got an email from my clinic saying ivf hoping to go ahead as planned at present, which is good.

@thislittlebird yeah I will start taking estrogen and patches just after Christmas with ET expected the second week of January.

When do you start? Do you start on CD1?

@XjustagirlX that’s good, glad it’s not long. yeah but not this cycle the next one, 26th of Jan, but right now I think my body is going to be too early and miss the slot. I’m taking progesterone to delay a period that would be due today roughly, two short cycles in a row would shift forward my start dates about 10 days and there’s only a 4 day window :/

I think I’m going to have to ask them for norethisterone for next month.

Period arrived today 2 days early at 14dpi but tbh I would rather it came early so I can move on to next cycle haha!

Still waiting for ivf appeal decision to come back and then we will be starting either private or NHS ivf after april

@Annny27 yes thank you! So hard to believe he is 1 already 😅 he's at nursery now I'm back at work and he's having such a good time 🤩 I'm 22+3 now, I finish work again in 7 weeks time I can't wait 😂

Hi so I did a second ivf FET cycle. This time I was on patches as my lining didn’t get thick enough with just tablets. Well my lining was worse with the patches. It didn’t get over 3.9mm.

It got cancelled again. I’m able to start on my next cycle but we will be doing a natural cycle. So no drugs at all.

I will go in on CD9 and see how my lining is naturally. Then if it’s thick enough then we will finically fo the ET.

Have you listened to the podcast big fat négative? I have just found it and it’s really nice to hear other women going through it. They also speak to expects each episode.

@Annny27 have you had anything back yet after your appeal?

@XjustagirlX so sorry to hear that :( have they given and indication as to why your lining isn’t getting that thick with the medication? Fingers crossed for this cycle and that you can get your transfer done 😊

@whatsthecraic91 how are you getting on lovely?

@XjustagirlX hey, this dropped off my list. Sorry to hear it got worse, that’s frustrating but hopefully the natural FET will work better. Did they give you any explanation why they think it got worse with those patches? What cycle day is it now?

I’m day 7 of stims right now, going for a scan tomorrow to see what’s happening.

I started my period yesterday so am currently on a natural cycle. I go for a scan on Monday. They haven’t said why I’m not responding to the estrogen but I know some people just don’t respond.

@XjustagirlX so the plan is natural cycle and see what happens lining wise?

It’s ok. I’m going in for a transfer on Wednesday all being well. We got 15 eggs, 13 were viable, 9 fertilised and hoping some blasts remain when we go in Wednesday. Right now I have a possible chest infection so I’m a little worried about having to take antibiotics for that right at transfer because I know it’ll end up killing my good bacteria too.

@xjustagirlx so do they monitor you for when you ovulate and then do the transfer 5 or so days after that?
