Hello all, setting up a new thread for us old timers to keep up and stay sane on the ttc journey!

@Lozzlepop oh congratulations!! What a great line! How do you feel? Today of all days I pop on 🥳

@whatsthecraic91 thank you so much! In a bit of shock, the line came up straight away. Was annoyed as I had a digital and it didn’t work 🙄 bought another few tests cos you knoe 🤣🤣 how are you getting on?

I'm doing good thanks! My DS is 9 months & I'm 8+1 with #2 (I'm sorry if that news upsets anyone 🙏🏼)

@whatsthecraic91 yes our little boy was born on 6th Oct via c section. I had GD and some post c section complications resulting in longer hospital stay but now home and loving it! Learning on the job very quickly! 😳

Well it’s deffo there so I am just trying to relax and take things in my stride!

@whatsthecraic91 it’ll be so lovely to have them so similar in age growing up ❤️ Of course I will keep you guys in the loop- you have all been on this rollercoaster with us.

@Kiza thank you so so much and huge congratulations on your little one arriving what lovely news 🥰 what did you decide to call him?

The dr has prescribed me vitamin D and progesterone to take and I’ve upped my dose of thyroid medication and to go for a blood test next week so I’m really hopeful this little one sticks 🤞🏻

@Kiza congratulations!! Fellow csection mama here too, just keep on top of your pain medication is my top tip!! And keep moving! It's such a shock to the system isn't it 😂 enjoy every second xx

@Lozzlepop eeek look at that!! How many weeks are you then? Will you be due in June? Are you going to book an early scan? x

@Lozzlepop thank you he's called Odin and he's a dream!! I definitely believe the high dose of progesterone is what helped him stick, side effects of such a high dose were a bit rough but I'm sure you'll agree we will take all the symptoms in the world to be able to carry to full term!! I also pushed to keep taking the high dose to 12 weeks as originally they were only going to prescribe till 8 weeks.

@whatsthecraic91 yeah it was rough as I lost all mobility in my legs and had to have an MRI, luckily it came back after a couple of days and accidentally tore my stitches too 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I was begging for morphine in the hospital and missed the morphine when I got home 😆

@Lozzlepop I was breifly on the TTC thread with my first baby and remember your name! I only posted a couple of times but checked in occasionally to see how everyone got on. Really pleased for you 🙂 x

@Kiza omg that sounds horrible!! Glad you're on the mend now. Shit thing to go through but it's so worth it when you have that baby in your arms 😊 love his name x

Update from me:

Surgery done 🥳🥳🥳

Endometriosis found on my right ovary and they removed the endo. And my tubes were flushed and clear 🙌 both times I have been pregnant its been left ovary so hopefully now with that removed I get more of a chance!

@Annny27 oh thank you! That's fabulous news your surgery is done! Hope you are recovering well. Everything crossed this does the trick for you! Do you have to wait a while before trying or can you get started right away?

@Lozzlepop congratulations! When are you able to have a scan?

Im starting my FET around 21 November. With transfer expected around the start if december. Not long to wait now.

@Annny27 glad it’s all cleared for you. Are you starting trying straight away now?

@Kiza what is classed as a high dose of progesterone? My clinic is giving me 800mg a day but no idea if it’s high or not

Hi ladies :) had a very heavy period after the laparoscopy but thats over now and can start dtd in a few days:)

@whatsthecraic91 will you find our the gender this time too?

@xjustagirlx I was told I would be 400 progesterone so 800 seems high but good that they are giving you that :)

@Annny27 @XjustagirlX my clinic put me on 400 for ovulation induction and said 800 is standard for ivf but maybe it varies by clinic?

@Annny27 yeah definitely, to see if I need to get pink or keep all the blue we have! I've everything crossed for you that the lap has done the trick 🤞🏼😊

How are we all? Thanks for all the well wishes ❤️ Really hoping this is the one, got my booking in appointment next week and a reassurance scan the following week so keeping everything crossed! Having a nightmare trying to book things in around work now we’re back in the office but luckily we have a long weekend planned for a wee trip away next week, so looking forward to that!

@whatsthecraic91 I’ll be 7 weeks tomorrow, yup all going well due date will be the end of June- just when my contact at work runs out 😂🙈

@Kiza Odin is such a beautiful name 😍 I think I’ve to take the progesterone until 12 weeks and getting bloods to monitor my thyroid- had my dose tripled so hoping this is the last time I have to up it!

@XjustagirlX I am on 800mg of progesterone- I feel like I need one of those plastic dispensers for all the pills I’m currently on 😂

@Annny27 how are you doing after your surgery? Ready to get dtd?

@Lozzlepop congrats on 7 weeks, it's so hard to try and stay relaxed when we've been through pregnancy loss and I remember trying to stay busy to keep my mind from overworking but I don't think it's ever possible!
Yes I think I was in 800mg until 12 weeks, they tried to stop it earlier but I recall arguing (I think fear kicked in) and so they kept me on it till 12 weeks.
Hope the scan goes well for you. Odin is now 4 weeks old and oh man what an emotional rollercoaster motherhood is- never knew you could feel so many emotions in a 24hour period! 😆

@XjustagirlX yep 800mg sounds like a good high amount. Good luck with it all!

@Lozzlepop haha i read it starts with the egg earlier this year. I actually bought one of those weekly pill dispensers. It was the best thing I bought all year.

I’m taking 20 different tablets a day. This is just vitamins before I even start with my ivf meds. I need a bigger one because they don’t all fit in 😆

Can I ask what you did differently with this pregnancy? I’ve tried to look back through the messages but can’t see. We’re you trying naturally?
