Thanks @minthumbugs 😊 I had my surgical management on the 8th December and got my BFP on the 1st feb! I had long irregular cycles before, so I was surprised that my cycle seemed to regulate after my MMC as it means we got our positive on the second cycle 😊

chloedancer897 · 23/02/2021 16:50

Has anyone experienced ovulation bleeding? I'm CD11 today had a peak on LH but I'm bleeding like the start of a period, it's heavy enough and cramping like the start of a period. Getting a bit concerned about it. Anything I've read about ovulation bleeding, they say it should be spotting but I've had to put a pad on it's heavy enough

minthumbugs · 23/02/2021 16:50

@PumpkinEverything that's brilliant! All the best with your rainbow. Xx

NatJ24 · 23/02/2021 17:37

@PumpkinEverything so excited for you!
I did post earlier but think it was missed and didn't want you to think I hadn't responded haha! Keep us updated 😁

@chloedancer897 I've never experienced it myself. I would just say ovulation or implantation but I know you've said it seems heavier. Hopefully it is just still that and one heavy day? Hope you're ok

PumpkinEverything · 23/02/2021 17:40

Thanks so much @NatJ24 😁 will definitely keep you all posted and hope we get a few more BFPs soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻

PointAcres · 23/02/2021 18:08

@PumpkinEverything congratulations!!
@NatJ24 and @ELMcg I have just found this thread and have been reading through your experiences as they sound a lot like mine! Sorry to hear about AF but sending you and everyone lots of luck for next month!

After 7 months of trying for our first we got our BFP on January 7th but sadly I had a natural miscarriage on 25 January at 7 weeks. A week later I had a negative test and it was done.
We decided not to jump into testing for ovulation everyday right after and thought we would give it a month but we ended up DTD on CD20 anyway (if I count CD1 as the day my miscarriage started... don’t know if that’s right!?!). Which in my normal cycle would have been about the time I ovulated and I had some CM signs of ovulation that day.
Now I am waiting and wondering and trying not to test or think too much into every little symptom!!
I’m bloated and tired and having headaches and trouble sleeping and lots of symptoms that line up with when I was pregnant but no sore back or sore boobs.
I’ve been holding onto a glimmer of hope and it’s been great to read all the stories of everyone. I think it’s more likely that AF will appear at some point this week and hopefully sooner than later so we can begin TTC next month!

ELMcg · 23/02/2021 18:16

@PointAcres sorry to hear about your experience but lots of us in a similar boat on this thread! Fingers crossed its good news for you this month!

I had alot of the symptoms you described post ovulation which was definitely strange for me as normally (pre MC) I had no symptoms of anything throughout my cycle, so about a week ago there was a part of me that thought I could be pregnant as the symptoms were so odd! Then they turned alot more in to AF symptoms so I knew it was on it's way! I'm hoping I feel more normal this month as ive not enjoyed the hormones being up and down!

@NatJ24 and I have been completely identical in everything pretty much which is comforting to know your not alone! Fingers crossed our BFP arrives together this cycle! 🤞

Lollipop25 · 23/02/2021 21:44

Congrats @PumpkinEverything, it’s so great to hear positive stories on here🙂. @gizmo167 so CD1 is first day of bleeding when mc. great thanks👍didn’t have a clue what way to count this month. Still waiting on a BFN after mc.

NatJ24 · 24/02/2021 08:53

@PointAcres so sorry about your loss. Hopefully it is good news for you this month 🙏 we are all in similar positions so it is good for advice and support.
I think for a few days I was unsure if they were pregnancy symptoms or not but then as it was getting closer it definitely felt like AF. Once I started to feel the cramps and things I just knew.
@ELMcg has AF arrived properly yet?

ELMcg · 24/02/2021 09:56

@NatJ24 oh AF is full force today 😂 got progressively heavier yesterday evening and now it's well and truly here.

I am a bit more positive that it's more like my 'normal' AF. Last months one was just really weird! Also now I have put my cycle in to Flo it looks like a would have ovulated about 3 days later than I thought. So now I know for next month to not start so early with the OPKs so I don't run out. Interestingly it says I would have ovulated around CD17 and when I had a BFP before we DTD on CD16 so looks like I am probably what I was like Pre MC so going to put in effort around then this month. Was just too early last month I think!

Leesha94 · 24/02/2021 10:27

Hi ladies,

Gave in this morning and POAS. I had the tiniest spot of brown cm last night so thought I’d give it a try, but BFN. Trying not to feel too deflated as I’m still only 9dpo.

Think il leave it til Friday when I’m 11dpo and in the off chance last night was implantation spotting I’d imagine I should get a positive by then if this is our month!

Fingers crossed to everyone else testing on Friday, hopefully we’ll all have good news to share 🤞🤞

TryingToNotTry · 24/02/2021 10:34

@Leesha94 we are on the same timeline it seems. I am 9dpo today and dying to test. Did you use a FRER? Try to not get deflated, it is still early as you said and they say it takes two days for HCG to be detected after possible implantation bleeding.

Are you having any other symptoms?

My resting heart rate is on the rise after a dip two days ago and yesterday I experience a burning/warming sensation over my uterus with mild cramps. Up until then the only symptom I had was severe bloating and my wee smelling like ammonia (weird, but apparently a thing). Today I am exhausted and mildly nauseated. All of this could be AF though so let's see... Star

Leesha94 · 24/02/2021 10:44

@TryingToNotTry I just used an IC as I knew it was really early and didn’t want to waste a FRER. But think I will use one on Friday morning.

My boobs have been getting increasingly more sensitive and heavy over the last couple of days, but this happens to me before AF so who really knows.

Apart from that I haven’t really had any symptoms at all. (Did have a few cramps last night, but really mild)

In the 2-3 days leading up to AF I would usually start to cramp and on the first day of AF cramps would be really bad to the point I couldn’t function without painkillers! But I didn’t even realise I was coming on AF in January because I didn’t have 1 single cramp, which is really really unusual for me. This has me a bit worried that AF will catch me off guard this month too 😣!

bez91 · 24/02/2021 11:00

Glad you're feeling positive @ELMcg and think you're making sense of your cycle!

@chloedancer897 never experienced ovulation bleeding myself, I did google (🤦🏼‍♀️) a few days ago as I've had quite a lot of blood over 4 days at 4dpo so wondered if that could be ovulation bleeding. It seems common for some women.

@PointAcres welcome but also sorry you find yourself here. Hoping AF stays away for you.

I'm also 9dpo @Leesha94 and @TryingToNotTry 😁 best of luck to you both. I'm holding out to 14dpo to test (Monday) as AF not due until 18dpo,

PointAcres · 24/02/2021 11:12

Thank you @bez91. It feels like torture analysing every little possible symptom! Nice to know I’m not alone!

I’m about 11dpo (if I’ve got my dates right!). When I did get pregnant I got a faint positive when I was 15dpo so trying to stay strong and not test! Hopefully AF will make her appearance ASAP if she must!

@chloedancer897 I’ve never had ovulation bleeding but I did have very faint light pink implantation spotting for less than a day around 12dpo the month I did get pregnant, in case that helps anyone!

Florence15 · 24/02/2021 13:57

Hi everyone!! I’ve been using clearblue digital advanced for the first time this month and I’ve just got my peak , CD14. We have DTD the last 3 nights and will tonight would you Thursday too? I’ve never actually had a positive opk before 😃

Leesha94 · 24/02/2021 14:04

@Florence15 when you get your peak I’m pretty sure it means you’ll ovulate in the next 12-48hrs. So to be extra extra safe try DTD today and tomorrow!! Good luck (I think sperm lives in your system for up to 5 days, so your little sperm could be waiting for your egg as we speak) 😂🤞

Florence15 · 24/02/2021 14:06

@Leesha94 thanks 😊 fingers crossed. IVE always used the cheap opks before so thought I’d try the clearblue this month. It definitely helps you know your cycle better. 🤞

amyannx · 24/02/2021 14:28

Hi ladies.

I'm new to this. I'm on day 18 today, I have been ttc for the last 2 cycles. I have come off my combined pill to ttc at the end of December. I had my withdraw bleed then af showed on 7th feb which made my first cycle 32 days. This cycle I have used ovulation tests and believe I got a positive test yesterday (day 17)Would you say I have ovulated? Wasn't sure if I could ovulate this quick after stopping the pill, also if I have recently ovulated I didn't have any egg white cm, don't know if this matters or not? I can't post my pics yet as I'm new but over the last few days my lines got darker and yesterday they were the same colour as the control line

Thanks Amy xx

Garman · 24/02/2021 15:08

Hi all, I forgot to post here since the first page! I was 3dpo then, I tested at 8dpo and got a clear positive with frer! That was a week ago, I'm 4+5 now going by my lmp dates. Can't believe it, no symptoms so far which is unusual for me, but had loads of symptoms with mmc and it was still a mmc so symptoms mean nothing to me any more! Tested today again as my af was due yesterday at the latest, this was today's result. Will see how it goes over the next few weeks.

Congrats to those getting bfps, and fingers crossed for everyone else x

@Garman congratulations 🥳 that’s a really strong positive. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy for you 🤞

minthumbugs · 24/02/2021 15:11

@Garman congratulations! ❤️

Garman · 24/02/2021 15:15

Thanks ladies ❤️ This is the 8dpo one, I did it out of pure frustration and annoyance at my own obsession with ttc since the mmc, it was my last test and I was over it all. I was ready to bin it and never think of ttc again and couldn't believe it when I saw a line.
