@bez91 I'm also cd12! Surprised I've had high since cd 8!

@Marvellouslymadmum such a downer when the dreaded af comes I hope you're okay x

gizmo167 · 15/03/2021 09:17

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry hun, fc for next cycle!

Hope everyone survived yesterday, I just hid myself away from it all, I lost my mum last year and with the mc's etc all a bit much but I do have my gorgeous wee DD and am so very very grateful for her so I guess no need to feel that way!

CD30 for me today, no idea what is going on but reckon just waiting on AF to arrive. Have a tiny bit of AF like cramping back and forward but none of the usual PMS things like sore boobs, skin breakouts etc, funny what mc does to our bodies!

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 09:28

@gizmo167 sorry to hear about your mum, hope you're feeling better today.

@Mamat90 I was feeling a bit down last night but just got off the phone with a different gp after other one was most unhelpful and she's referring me to fertility and oh for an sa so that's really perked me up!

elsimo · 15/03/2021 09:30

My first MC before my DD didn't change anything at all but my most recent one in November has caused chaos. My cycles have been all over the place and before I had really bad ovulation pain and thats now gone so i'm not sure if I am actually ovulating 🤷‍♀️

bez91 · 15/03/2021 11:20

@Mamat90 I've always tended to get high from CD8, must be ok got my 2 BFPs last year when started high on CD8

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry AF arrived but glad you got to speak to a decent GP so hopefully things will move on for you

@elsimo feel your pain I'm the same, first MC last year was quite straight forward but the one in December I'm not really sure where I'm at with my body, whether it makes a difference because I had surgical management IDK 🤷‍♀️ I think I'm actually
Ovulating later than the OPKs suggest though. 3dpo for you, fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok!

@Marvellouslymadmum thats rubbish that AF arrived but its good you have been referred and hopefully get some useful answers soon
@bez91 its good you have your peak, just DTD for a bit longer like you've said incase you do ovulate a couple of days after and atleast you're covered then. You'll then be in the TWW with us!! Theres so many of us similar at the minute

Yes @ELMcg so I am 3dpo today so we are basically the same 😄 I just know it is going to be a long 2 weeks. I want to try and hold out like you, hopefully to when AF is due, so 26th/27th
This group is due some BFPs soon!! 🤞

NatJ24 · 15/03/2021 12:29

@elsimo you're the same as me too, 3dpo!!

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/03/2021 15:32

@bez91 thank you, yes things seem much more positive now! @NatJ24 I do hope so

bez91 · 15/03/2021 15:43

Anyone used the premom app opk reader thingy?

I've been using CB digital but thought I'd buy a few internet cheap OPKs for use after I got peak on that as I've not been convinced I've been ovulating right at my peak on the CB. Took this and my reading seems higher than I've seen anyone's, anyone else had this or am I just very hormonal 😳 maybe I peed on it wrong I dunno 😂, I deffo haven't got the control and test line mixed up have I. Read it as per the instructions but the control line looks quite weak 🤦🏼‍♀️

@NatJ24 i'm pretty relaxed about it this month. 1st time since my MC i've not been crazy but there is time yet. I'm going to hold out until 14dpo. I usually spot 8-9dpo and then I know period is on its way anywayz

@bez91 yes, thats a good point re surgical management. My first one was a natural miscarriage.
My most recent MC was twins and I lost one myself but had to have surgical management to remove the other so my body must have been well confused xx

elsimo · 15/03/2021 15:47

Wow @bez91 thats a super high reading. Highest I have ever had is 0.98 lol.
It's pretty impossible to use it wrong. Maybe its a dodgy test??

bez91 · 15/03/2021 15:52

@elsimo I often wonder that about having the surgical management but then again you might think that gets things back to normal quicker but who knows!

Yeah it must be a dodgy test, the control line doesn't seem that dark. Try again tomorrow 😂

OP posts:
NatJ24 · 15/03/2021 16:55

@bez91 I have never had it read that high before but I did get 2.71 on my peak so you can get high readings. I think either way it is definitely postive. Keep taking more of them strips to see if it goes back down. What day was your static again?

bez91 · 15/03/2021 18:30

@NatJ24 my static was today, I just took one of these this afternoon as I was worried in past cycles I've maybe had multiple rises so will take them for a while longer - thanks for the advice 😊

Hi Ladies. I was on this thread before but dropped out after my DH wanted to wait before TTC after MMC in December. He then started to doubt whether he wanted a second baby which caused a lot of stress within our relationship for a period of time.

We had a lot of open and honest conversations and we have decided to start TTC again. DH is still worried about the possibility of having another MC as well as the upheaval a new baby brings but these come second to the desire of wanting to expand our family.

So....I’m now in the dreaded TTW. AF due to arrive between Thursday and Sunday (cycle length tends to be between 30-34 days) so will be holding off testing until next Monday.

Not feeling particularly confident but I’m just pleased to be on the journey again.

I’m so far behind on the thread but hoping that you are all well x

SLCxxx · 15/03/2021 21:25

Glad to hear things have changed since your last post @bubblybrit

We seem to be on similar cycle days I’m on 7dpo, so due on Monday (cycle day 34). Wishing you, and all those on this thread, good luck 🤞🏻

bubblybrit · 15/03/2021 21:53

Oh cycle buddies @SLCxxx. Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞we only had the chance to DTD once during my fertile window so don’t feel that this will be my month. Will need to make more of an effort next month if AF arrives as expected.

ELMcg · 16/03/2021 08:19

@bubblybrit nice to see you back and that it's all worked out for you to start trying again!! Fingers crossed for this cycle!

Trying not to count the days and just waiting until AF is late but its so hard isn't it! I think once I get to this weekend I'll feel better as one more week and I'll know either way! Just so tiresome waiting isn't it?

Trying to stay super busy at work so the days pass!

gizmo167 · 16/03/2021 10:28

Morning all x

Good luck all those static smileys and ov ladies, fc for BFPs in a couple of weeks!

CD31 today for me and feeling little pains low down on my left hand side yesterday and today so AF is more than likely going to show next couple of days at most. Feeling really fed up with it all, I allow myself to get my hopes up that it might happen, this month it was because MAYBE I might be more fertile after the 2nd mc but I know my body is just too old!!!

bubblybrit · 16/03/2021 12:20

Thanks @ELMcg. Feels good to be back on track. I’m not a fan of testing early so will be waiting for Monday if AF doesn’t arrive by then. I’m quite lucky that I’m super busy at work so the time is passing by quite nicely. Fingers crossed for you x

bez91 · 16/03/2021 16:53

Welcome back @bubblybrit it's really hard and we're at the stage now where it's fair to say it's causing an emotional strain in our relationship that we've never had in 14 years although in a strange way we're closer than we've ever been but the emotional strain is immense, so completely get you. Hope you get your BFP soon.

minthumbugs · 16/03/2021 18:17

Hey everyone, I've taken a bit of a break!

AF arrived for me today after a month of constant spotting. So @Marvellouslymadmum we will be on very similar timescales this month!

@bubblybrit you could be me! DP felt the same way and we had lots of heart to hearts about it - it's a hard thing anyway but it's definitely tricky to navigate with your partner. Good luck with it this month. Xx

@ELMcg and @gizmo167 fingers crossed!!

Totally agree with what you're all saying about the chaos with your body after MC. After my ectoptic I only really had to recover from the surgery and pretty much immediately I had regular cycles. After this MC, no such luck. My doctor didn't want to hear about it, I have been strictly told not to phone unless it continues for another month. I hope it just goes away and I'm in with a proper chance this month so I don't need to phone back, just worried I will have something seriously wrong! Ahhhhh, the joys. X

bubblybrit · 16/03/2021 18:39

@bez91. Thank you. It’s nice to be back and see some familiar faces so to speak. I find that I’m really snappy when TTC. Don’t think I deal with the stress very well which hasn’t helped relations between DH or I. Fingers crossed for your BFP.

bubblybrit · 16/03/2021 18:43

@minthumbugs. I was actually at the stage where I seriously considered whether our relationship could continue as at that stage we fundamentally wanted different things. Thankfully we took the time to have lots of hearts to hearts and were able to resolve things. Hope it’s a lucky month for us all x

MammaJ21 · 16/03/2021 18:51

Hi everyone I'm just going to catch up on some of the posts on here.

Just wondering how everyone's experience with opks has been.

Had a positive one last week Thurs Eve...and Fri morn. Then another on the weekend..so a bit confused as to why it seemed to peel twice? only managed to dtd on weds that week so I'm guessing we missed the window TC. have had cramping for a couple of days so guessing AF is on the way.

af was always pretty bng on before ds . then after breast feeding varied. Had a MC recently. Af came 27 days after MC so hoping that will be the new cycle norm. I know some people don't have one for longer after a MC so hoping it's going to be fairly regular.
