As the Post Pill Party Mosh Pit dies down... sweaty and bewildered, the ladies head to the bar to freshen up. Suddenly, a fiddler bursts onto the stage, beginning a merry tune. Everybody swings into an energetic Ceilidh!

Our heads are spinning, our bodies are knackered but we arent giving up dancing when the music is this catchy!

This is the 8th post pill party thread for women whose bodies don't know the correct dance steps after hormonal contraception. Raise a dram to combating delayed ovulation, flabberghasting follicular phases, loopy luteal phases, bizzare temp charts and OPKs whiter than a Scotsman's bum!

@Juno231 no, not work (I am an artist/self employed so any work stress is self inflicted!) I have a panic disorder, but I do have certain triggers like when I can't sleep etc. I'm more on edge because of lockdown so I stopped watching the news for a bit. I need a sedative 😅

@abi555 only take it in the follicular phase. I take 2000mg a day but I think some of the other ladies stick to 1000mg. Grapefruit juice also helps but I find it more of a faff to remember to have in the house, not in concentrate etc.

@ChinChilly @Sperr I literally hate my job, last night I logged off at 6 to walk the dog and got called twice at 8pm to do something (my hours are only until 6pm and this happens every day). I'm so fed up and really want to find a new job but my current place do 6 months full pay maternity. I know that isn't a reason to stay and it could take me years to fall preg, so I might take the leap and start looking for a new job as I just can't take stress anymore.

@Kay00 we do flexi hours here but because my boss is happy to work 7-7 she thinks everybody else should. I’m a. 8-4 kinda girl. My cervix last night was so high I couldn’t even feel it! Haven’t had chance to check today been running around all morning!

@MissC07 that sounds rubbish...I don’t answer my phone for anything work related once i log off, I’ve got to the point now where I’m like 🖕🏼 Sack me then 😂

I've been offline a bit again guys. Find if I check in every day I tend to obsess too much about TTC so trying to forget about it here and there.

Well done on all the lent resolutions. Well impressed. @MissC07 I'm aiming to do walks after work every day too. Did it up til evenings got too dark in winter and felt so much better for it. Could you turn off the phone every lunchtime? She sounds ridiculous.

@Ttcin2021 ive never had spotting but everything else post pill was a completely revelation. Took 9 months to stop having "what the heck is that" moments through my cycle. Like a second puberty relearning what's normal. And @TheDaydreamBelievers four months of long weird cycles before any hint of a pattern emerged so definitely with you there. It does even put in time though.

@ChinChilly I went for the twenty quid premium FF on a whim when depressed over AF and regretted instantly as I won't use all the features at all. Oh well. My AF depressed spending has also billed up my OPK and pregnancy test drawer. It's looking a bit crazy!

@abi555 sorry you're in limbo. Hate this stage. Fingers crossed for you. I the same at the end/start of every cycle. That's when my amazon purchases go a bit nuts buying fertility crap I 100% don't need.

@ChinChilly I'm starting to adopt the 'sack me' attitude tbh. My contracted hours are 8-6 which is long enough as it is for a job where I literally just sit around all day on edge waiting to be told to do something within 2seconds.

@Gracie2021 If I turned my phone off at lunchtime it wouldn't be worth the earful I'd get and I start feeling really anxious too. I'm going to try and start turning it off at 6pm though. The whole company is just full of sexist, stuck in the 80s American men!

That sounds like a nightmare @MissC07 and absolutely unbelievable expectations. My crowd, we do mad hours when we have to but when the rush is over everyone respects hours abs boundaries. That sounds like they expect you to be on call all the time.

@Juno231 thanks ! I bet when I order done AF will come 😂.

@LauraT94 mine is always slightly open after AF. You’ll be able to feel open when ovulating because there is a big difference. Until you’ve felt it, it’s hard to explain!

@abi555 I can confirm grapefruit juice is great for CM! I drank a glass every day after AF until after confirmed ovulation

@Sperr I tried it last month too. Not sure if it helped but didn't do any harm anyway. Doing it again this month just because I like the taste 😂

So after my chemical at the end of December I still haven't bled and felt really sick today so thought I'd check, frer I thought I could see a shadow but pretty sure I'm going mad. One step internet strip looked negative but had a shadow when hold a light behind (i know you shouldn't do that but it's too late 😂 that happened at 7dpo when I conceived my first then got a positive on frer at 9dpo, could be coincidence but the rest of the time it's been black regardless of a light behind)

Anyway while I was trying to see if there was a line on the frer like a mad woman I looked back at the one step and saw this...I think it's after the 10 mins but there is pink irl....what do you think? I know I just need to wait it out but I have no idea what to think 🙈

(Ps it went white and I thought was negative so was focused on the what I thought was more sensitive frer then this appeared so unlikely to be a dye run?)

@FlyingGiraffe still no AF but I've done a couple of ICs and they were completely blank. Don't think this is the month for us.

@abi555 hello stranger. I've been a bit of a lurker too lately. Our cycles always seem close. Hope your temps pick up. I'm 12dpo and had a temp drop today. Sigh. Re primrose oil, I started taking last month, and had no EWCM whatsoever. Whereas months before when I've not taken it, I've had some. Weird. Maybe not for me.

@firsttimemummy321 that test looks like there is something there. Do you have a pic of the FRER? Hope you get some good news.

I'm thinking for next month I might ditch all the gear and go completely old school to see how that goes. I saw a thread on AIBU on here and it made me think I am over egging the pudding (but it is nice to know everything is working).

Here it is, I'm sure there's a super faint shadow but can't even tell if there's colour if there even is anything 🤦🏻‍♀️ but also got a super faint positive on a clear blue early result but in wary of blue dye tests

@Nellieee I don't think you are tbh I got super obsessed trying for our first but I liked knowing what was going on 🙈 do what makes you feel comfortable :)

Planning the assault for this month and think our problem is just not enough coverage of fertile days and maybe stopping too soon. I blame last months stupid cysts (still have them even now) so think just have to power through if it's still there this month 🙈 this little screen is actually handy on FF.

Looking at this, we were def starting too early in the first few cycles and knackered by the time O hit. Then had really bad timing in Nov in the middle of overtime for the OH.
