Really fed up of AF showing up month after month now 🤦🏼‍♀️ we've been taking the see what happens but dtd lots approach. But now going into month 7 so We've decided to use the clear blue opk's to see if it gives us a better chance. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now to just wait for AF to disappear 😀

Any one else ttc #1? 😀

@Loops01 trust me... I'm not always positive haha! Every time af comes I cry a lot drink a bottle of wine whilst crying some more 😂😂 but then between being halfway through & it ending i know the next cycle is coming & we can try again :)
Af has officially disappeared now tho which is exiting so back onto the sticks in a few days think I'd be a little happier getting my peak before cd18 but tbf as long as I get a peak I'll be happy 🎉
I think honestly as well... because I have you guys it makes it a hell of a lot better. I think I would be miserable 24/7 if I didn't have anyone to talk about ttc with.
Do you think you'll test tomorrow or just wait a few more days? :)

when's the best time to start temps? Before af, During, or straight after?
I get up pretty much the same time most days so was thinking about giving it a go next cycle if I don't get a bfp.

@Loops01 oh Christ 😂😂 I work in agriculture and was out blood testing sheep last week, and the farmer was saying the lambing percentage was “only” 1.8% last year… so each of his ewes produced an average of 1.8 lambs after a week or so with their fancy man last year.

12 months with the same fancy man and not a lamb in sight over here!!!

You can start temping whenever, I think! I haven’t done it in ages but have stuck to it religiously this month and it completely amazes me how our bodies work!! Blows my mind 😂

Take it before you move, so have it by the bed and take it right away. Don’t log it if you were up to pee or anything within 3 hours of waking up properly, and alcohol really throws it off. I’ve stopped drinking since I last temped probably and can’t believe how steady they are without the weekend wine 😂

You was right @Amy259 , think it was my lack sleep/early get up yday as it’s gone back up again this morning. Only 9DPO so still early and could drop in next couple of days.

Morning @rosiej95 , I think I’d be tempted to start around or just after your period then you could do the full cycle and see how it goes. I’ve found it really useful apart from the odd off day but last month when I didn’t know where in the cycle I was it helped me detect AF was on its way.

Mine dipped by 0.1 this morning but it can’t be af as I’m only 6dpo, so must just be a random blip. I’m not worried!
How are you feeling today? Still holding out on the testing? I always start at 9dpo even though I say I won’t 😂

@Amy259 yes, probably just blip. I don’t feel any symptoms yet but don’t feel AF yet either. Yes, got no tests in other than cheapies. Might order some tomorrow for Wednesday which would be 11DPO.

(Actually feel more laid back this cycle - I guess I’m not expecting too much).

I wish there was a way to know stage by stage if there was a chance.. how much more manageable would it all be if we knew the sperm had met the egg.. okay it’s been fertilised… it’s slowly travelling down the tube.. right, now it’s looking to implant.. ahhh it didn’t manage to implant, we’re out this month. A daily update of the journey would be just lovely 😂

I don’t know why but some reason just don’t feel so stressed this cycle… I’ve normally tested by now and don’t even have the urge yet 😂.

& yes - how amazing would that be 😂😂😂

@Amy259 that would be amazing if you could picture it in some way. I think I'd be less stressed and emotional.

AF not arrived for me yet but could be any time today. Wouldn't be surprised if its tomorrow. Needing to track luteal phase more. I know before the easy@home tests when I used the clear blue I would just log the static as peak but it could have peak the next day so luteal phases were off then.

If it doesn't arrive by 14dpo then I'd test. I'm 11dpo today

@Loops01 with clear blue it’s more likely the static came after peak than before it, if that matters any for looking back. Fingers crossed af stays away! How are you feeling?

We’re back in arran fri-mom and are taking friends this time so I’m not sure if I should take tests or not.. I don’t know if it’ll stress me more or less! I’ll be 9dpo the morning we go so could test before leaving but most likely bfn then I’m not sure what I’d want to do. Any thoughts?

Actually thinking about it I think I logged when I had flashing but then I didn't have flashing some months and only static so it's only really 2 cycles that tell me the 10 day luteal phase? God knows!

I mean it would be up to you if you wanted to take. I know by 14dpo I will be home to test. My longest dpo from checking has been 13dpo but then again that's due to my logging probably! I could always go out and buy one from a shop here if I really wanted but if you're away away then might put you more at ease to take with you.

I'm alright. Just feel like days pass but actually I feel every hour and I'm constantly going to the toilet to see if it's come yet and feeling every feeling which is also nothing at all. Been feeling a bit dizzy and nauseous but like really minor and it might just be because I'm a bit out of routine here in this course. Like food not the best and it's sitting all day. Just bored and sad really.

@Loops01 I’m torn between testing and it affecting my weekend, and not testing and it affecting my weekend because I can’t stop thinking about it 😂 I’ll probably take some in my bag.

Yeah I’m feeling the hours with ttc in general just now too, not even just in the tww. Feel like it really consumes me and would love to find the ability to snap out of that.

But other than a neg test at 9dpo, which most would get even if pregnant, you have nothing to say it didn’t work this month! So until she rears her ugly head, try and hold onto a little hope! Are you still using the progesterone cream?

@Amy259 I like your hope and optimism but nope went to toilet and some blood when I wiped and now that's AF in flow. As predicted. At least I know I'm 10dpo and the progesterone cream hasn't really had any effect. No real symptoms as normal. So now cycle 12. No optimism for me. Just pretty fed up of all of it. Like it does consume your life but it's like what do I have in my life without it also. Sounds silly but there's nothing really to look forward to and we are back to work so back to only 3 days off a month and have to wait for him to potentially change role in the months to come before we can sort things flexi pattern wise. I'm just ready for this year to pass cos even fertility clinic wise won't have much really happening until end of the year probs. Just meh. I'll keep at it but yeah.

I’ve felt like that before - we’ve decided not to move house for a few years, we’re both a year into new jobs so they’re staying the same, wedding is done, at pet capacity with two dogs & a cat, so it felt a bit there’s nothing on the horizon to look forward to now? What’s next? A baby who’s making us wait… so it doesn’t sound silly at all, I think it’s pretty reasonable to feel that way when you’ve ticked every other box you want to tick at this point. Don’t beat yourself up for having feelings ♥️

Thanks everyone. Nothing to be sorry for we all feel that way when AF comes I'm sure. Such a slog. Not sure how to lengthen luteal phase. Like I know if it's consistently 10 days it's fine but it's not really giving a lot of time to implant and premom says it's short as should be 11-17. No idea how to change it. Progesterone didn't change it. I already have loads of vitamin C and other stuff that they recommended 🤷🏼‍♀️. Constantly wanting to improve but even the improvements don't provide success. No AF pain just a bit of bloating like normal which should pass by tomo.

Hopefully some more successful cycles for you lot though!!

@AZ1992X yeah I think I’ll just take some because I’ll be thinking about it all weekend if I don’t.

@Loops01 I would ask your doctor tbh, and ask for those 7dpo bloods again and get them done at the right time. 10 days is right on the edge of what they say is the normal range - and the most common day to implant is 9dpo too. They’re maybe more likely to speed up the process of helping you if there could be something easy they can try?

I've told them before and they do nothing. They basically referred me so that the clinic will sort it all. Which is fine but god knows when that will be! I know my lining is decent and people have got pregnant with short luteal phases by the looks of things but no idea. Apart from being 10 days I don't have any symptoms of the low progesterone. To be fair I don't ever really have symptoms. Just done. Fed up of the constant disappointment. I'm sure it'll work one day. When I'm given pills or treatment in some way months or years down the line. I really doubt it'll be natural at this stage. Ignore me though as I'm just really low and truly fed up. I wish I had pushed dh more earlier.

@Loops01 sorry you’re feeling so low, especially when you’re away from home.

Try not to think too much about the what ifs. I’m sure your DH is grateful you didn’t push him before he was ready, but I get you’d feel that way just now. Sending you lots of love and strength ♥️

Morning, well I had some cheap strips in and was bfn (which I expected & tbf I know it’s still early) not sure why I did this to myself 🙈.

Sorry @AZ1992X I just saw this. Sorry to hear about your bfn 💔 those cheap tests apparently take ages though, so not out yet? When is af due?
