Hi everyone just a continuation of @Littlebee1990 thread. It has helped me so much by giving me a platform to express myself and I hope it helps others as well. @Littlebee1990 I hope you are well and don't mind me continuing on.x

@Boo2020 great to hear you can start trying. Fingers crossed for you. Hopefully this is a start of a pregnancy streak 🤞🤞

Thanks @mishmased @Boo2020 ❤️ I’m further along than my Cp/MMC now so I’ve calmed down quite a bit on anxiety front but still early days! I’m away weeks 10-12 of my pregnancy and want to do a private scan just before I go but as I can’t discharge to the midwife until IVF clinics done their scan, I don’t want to pay for a private one if I end up having my NHS one at the same time 🙈 I’m on progesterone for the full 12 weeks which I’m not enjoying as much!

@boo2020 as strong as lines on OPK is still really good! So glad you can start trying and wishing you all the best ❤️

mishmased · 04/09/2021 11:15

@LS2020 just take it one day at a time ❤️

Scan went well today - saw the heartbeat flickering away ☺️ Said I was measuring a day behind at 6+3 but didn’t revise my EDD. Officially discharged to midwife now. Hope everyone is keeping well ❤️

@mishmased thank you! Is it bad I want to book in for a scan next week now to see them again 😂

mishmased · 17/09/2021 16:21

@LS2020 perfectly reasonable to want to have a scan every week 😂
Will your next scan be at the booking visit?

LS2020 · 17/09/2021 20:25

@mishmased I think it’ll be the normal 12 week scan with midwife? I’m away abroad week 10-12 of my pregnancy so thinking about booking a private week 10 scan and then doing the NHS 12 week scan when I’m back. But I do know my manager last year got her scan at like week 9 so 🤷‍♀️

mishmased · 17/09/2021 23:13

Oh that's great. Scan at 10 weeks sounds like a great plan and then you get the NHS at 12 weeks. Then you can enjoy your trip away nice 😊

@mishmased caved and got an 8 week scan. Got to hear the heartbeat which was absolutely amazing 😍 they look like a proper little bean!

How're you feeling? Keep taking one day at a time. I'm over the moon for you ❤️

@mishmased I know 9 tomorrow!
I have been awfully sick and nauseous the whole time but it’s been a great feeling to be where I am ❤️ Tiredness keeps hitting me too but not the end of the world napping all the time 😂 I will be so glad to be out the first trimester more for sickness and feeling like myself more than any early pregnancy worry now!

jokerflowers · 03/10/2021 18:22

Hi guys, sorry if this is wrong place to be, just wondered if some of you could share your experience with me? How did it go for you ttc after mc? I'm currently going through mmc and praying I don't bleed forever so I can look towards trying again! Struggling atm, so happy to see your healthy pregnancies tho! ❤️

mishmased · 03/10/2021 19:43

@jokerflowers I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, hope you have someone looking after you ❤️
I had my mc in July last year at 6 weeks, started bleeding on a Sunday through to Friday. I went to a private scan the Monday as I wasn't sure if epu would see me. No heartbeat was found and epu told me to come in on the Tuesday. The mc was confirmed on Tuesday and they took bloods to check hcg levels, repeated the bloods two days later and hcg was 6. Because levels of 5 and under confirms the absence of pregnancy I was deemed as not pregnant. Bleeding stopped on the Friday and 28 days later I had my period in late August and found out I was pregnant late September. Of course everyone is different but that is my story. I found this thread very supportive throughout. My baby is now 4 months.
Take painkillers to help with the pain. Are you being seen by epu?

@LS2020 9 weeks wow! Sorry to hear about the sickness, I had terrible nausea the entire time. I still have my left over sickness medication 😂
Hope it eases for you soon ❤️

@mishmased thank you for sharing! My partner has been taking care of me. I didn't take painkillers for the day when angel came out because I felt I wanted to feel it, like my way of birthing them still I suppose, today tho just had bleeding so I think it'll settle down soon. I think I'll conceive again fast, it's just a struggle at the moment because the wait seems like forever! Each day all I can thinking about is how long the days feel (I don't currently work and my other 2 children are with me half the week as I co parent with their dad) with nothing to distract me, mixed with grieving what's happened. I don't know what to do with myself

mishmased · 03/10/2021 21:15

@jokerflowers take it easy and rest, it is so tough. Hopefully the bleeding will stop soon. Glad to hear you have your partner with you. Feel free to post on here, there is always someone that will reply and support you.x

@jokerflowers how are you? Just jumped on this post as I mc at 6 weeks on 1st October , hoping to conceive again quickly as my daughter is 3 this week and was so hoping to have a babe in arms next year , did anyone else conceive quickly after a mc? X

mishmased · 26/10/2021 23:46

@Theworkingmama sorry for your loss ❤️ hope you're getting better. I conceived about 8 weeks after my mc. I hope it happens for you soon.xxx

@mishmased
@Theworkingmama

I'm doing okay thank you, fiiiiinally stopped bleeding! Thursday last week, so now I'm tracking my ovulation using femometer. Actually just taken a test that I have no idea if is negative or positive 😂 says 2 lines the same strength is positive but surely it's too soon, I'll attach a pic for your thoughts..

How are you guys doing? Hope you're well

@Theworkingmama I'm sorry for your loss, I also found out on 1st of October that I'd had a mmc, it sucks, but I hope you're healing well and hopefully we'll both have a baby in our arms by this time next year!! I posted in pregnancy asking if anyone else conceived quickly after mc, everyone said yes! First cycle pretty much

mishmased · 27/10/2021 01:37

@jokerflowers good to hear from you. That looks like a positive opk but I'm terrible at reading them. I usually go by ewcm as I can tell easier that I'm fertile once discharge becomes an egg white consistency. I understand not everyone gets it. What day are you at on your cycle?

OP posts:
jokerflowers · 27/10/2021 07:04

@mishmased I'm terrible at tracking mucus, and if I'm doing the deed every other day I can never tell what's sperm and what's me 😅 I did the deed anyway and think I'll just continue to on that pattern regardless, that's what worked before 🤷🏽‍♀️ I will keep tracking too though! What you been up to to distract your mind? Halloween has been mine as it's my fave time of year! But it's hard not to obsess over babies again 🤦🏾‍♀️

mishmased · 27/10/2021 12:28

@jokerflowers as long as it doesn't get boring you keep at it 😂
I've had a chest infection so been in bed since last week with a terrible cough and dosed up on antibiotics, lemsip, strepsils and tons of ginger and lemon tea. Had a Covid test and result is negative. Not sure I mentioned that I had a baby in May. She's five months and keeping me awake all night.
