Hi everyone just a continuation of @Littlebee1990 thread. It has helped me so much by giving me a platform to express myself and I hope it helps others as well. @Littlebee1990 I hope you are well and don't mind me continuing on.x

@jokerflowers I would recommend waiting to at least 7 weeks. I got a scan at 6+4 with IVF but we were exact with dates and it was a tiny dot so not a lot to see but was nice.
If you can wait to 8 weeks seeing a heartbeat massively reduces miscarriage risk and then if you have one at 10 weeks I think it goes down below 1%.

@Purple29 hope everything goes well for you 🤞🏻 Honestly body’s are the weirdest thing. My best friend started bright red bleeding last Friday at 7 weeks pregnant, and had basically a normal period. Went for a scan today to check everything has come out and they’ve found an 8 week baby with a heartbeat snuggly sat away so now I’m more convinced than ever there is no way to tell what’s happening in your body!

Purple29 · 23/12/2021 09:25

Well they couldn't see anything on scan. Either ultrasound or internal. But she said she couldn't get a good full view of my uterus cause its tilted back. Test line was faint positive. So they've taken bloods to test my levels but I'm not hopeful at all!!!

jokerflowers · 07/01/2022 16:01

Hey lovelies how are we? So I caved and booked an early scan for Sunday, reason being my 12 week scan is on feb 3rd and I'm getting huge anxiety getting closer to it so I wanted to do one and get it out the way. Trouble is I'm so scared, I do seem like everything is fine, but after last time I'm terrified of the scan itself, of that moment of waiting for them to say all is okay or that it isn't, how can I help myself overcome this? I really don't wanna feel like this next 2 days, I wanna break down with fear 😰

mishmased · 07/01/2022 16:21

Hey everyone happy new year 🥳
@jokerflowers I used to tell myself that there is absolutely nothing I can do to change the outcome and if anything worrying might make it worse. Just believe that everything will be fine. It is tough but hang in there, just one day between today and Sunday. It will be fine ❤️

@Purple29 hope all is well with you ❤️

@LS2020 hope you're well? you're almost halfway 👏 👏👏 when is your anomaly scan?

Hope everyone had a good Christmas 🎄

@mishmased thank you, that does help, I can't control it so got to try let it go! I've been doing really well so far and don't want to cause harm by worrying.

@Purple29 was also thinking of you, how's things?

@LS2020 exciting to think how far you must be now! Hope you're both well?

PrettyLights · 11/01/2022 13:39

@jokerflowers hope everything was okay at the scan?

@Purple29 also thinking of you and hoping you're okay.

We've got our 12 week scan on Thursday and I'm getting pretty nervous the closer we get. Been feeling awful with nausea and sickness for the last 6 weeks (taking that as a positive sign!), but just hope all this feeling rubbish hasn't been for nothing...

mishmased · 15/01/2022 09:26

@PrettyLights hope it went well? After the mc my doctor kept on saying the nausea is a great sign that the pregnancy going well. Hope it eases a bit in the second trimester.x

PrettyLights · 17/01/2022 10:04

@mishmased It went well thank you - could see the baby moving, see the heartbeat and everything looked good. Unfortunately we were measuring 6 days behind where we were estimated from LMP because LMP was actually a miscarriage, so the cycle was thrown off. So we're going back on Thursday for the actual 12 week scan to do the chromosomal checks. Hoping everything is still good in there!

Have started on cyclizine for the sickness, which is really helping, though hard to not feel guilty for taking the medicine - but it's got to be better than being dehydrated and losing loads of weight.

mishmased · 17/01/2022 10:14

@PrettyLights I'm glad to hear all went well. Glad to hear the cyclising is working for you because it didn't work for me and I had to take a more expensive one. Don't feel guilty for taking the meds, you'd be sick otherwise.Fantastic news that all is going well and hopefully you get your dates soon.

@mishmased I was just thinking if I'm at 20 weeks your little one must be big now.. 10 months! That's crazy, how time flies 😂 I'm super excited, doing s gender reveal on 16th so don't know what we're having just yet.

Hoping everyone else is good too, would love to hear from you all 🥰

Boo2020 · 31/03/2022 08:31

@mishmased Hi there! Wow 10 months I bet time is flying for you ❤..

I'm nearly 19 weeks with a little boy 💙..not sure where I was upto but before this I had a pregnancy in an unknown location at 7 weeks and before that had a miscarriage at 11 weeks, feel so blessed, can't wait to meet my little bundle 😊 xx

PrettyLights · 31/03/2022 11:13

@jokerflowers @mishmased @Boo2020 Great to hear from you!

We are at 22 weeks now and have just had the second scan. All looking perfect in there, so feeling like it may actually happen now! Amazing to feel the baby move each day. We decided to keep the gender a surprise, so still have 4 months until we know!

Hope everyone else is well :)

mishmased · 01/04/2022 03:36

@jokerflowers yes she's all grown and almost walking. She's the reason I'm awake at silly o'clock 🤣 having two siblings in primary school means loads of virus for her to catch. She's going through another cold and cough phase. I'm excited for your gender reveal 🥰

@Boo2020 yes I remember the miscarriage and PUL! Those were tough times and I'm glad all is going well for you❤️ You're almost halfway there.

@PrettyLights that's fantastic news! It will happen sooner than you think as it goes so quickly.

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well and you're just a few weeks apart. We should start a new thread for the new babies. Need to add @Theworkingmama and @LS2020

Morning,
currently miscarrying what would have been my 3rd child (I have two ds) and just wondering how long everyone waited to ttc again?

mishmased · 07/05/2022 10:49

@MelissaD10 so sorry to hear your sad news, hope you have support with you? Honestly it depends on how you feel really although they recommend waiting until after your first period post mc. In my case it just happened that I had one period after mc and then was pregnant after that. There are some people that get pregnant before their period as well. How old are your kids?

Thank you I have a lot of family around me I’m very lucky to have them all.

my kids are 4 and 7 and didn’t know but in their own way seem to because they keep coming and giving me cuddles and kissing my tummy.

mishmased · 07/05/2022 14:51

@MelissaD10 good to hear you have support. Take it easy and get lots of rest. Lovely ages you have there bless them. Hope it gets easier soon.x
