Anyone else approaching ovulation?

So we're ttc baby #2, this will be our first month. According to my app I'm due to ovulate around Sunday, so planning to DTD lots over fertile window.

Anyone else at the same point in their cycle?

Would be nice to have company in the dreaded 2 week wait that's about to come 😂

Hey! I’m one day ahead I think. I’m due to ovulate on Saturday (according to my app) as of tomorrow the plan is to start DTD every day till the weekend! 😬 then every other from Sunday. Just in case!

How you feeling? It’s my 4th month Ttc. I’m going with a relaxed approach this month, well going to try it 😂

@NW2021 ahh that sounds similar to our plan. I think we're just going to DTD as much as we can and try not to stick to a schedule as such.

I feel okay the moment, I know I'll be anxious and impatient in the two week wait haha. How are you?

Exactly same as us! My other half works away and has been away for Jan he’s back tomorrow for 2 weeks so hopefully there won’t be much complaining about DTD as much as we can 🤣

How did you get on Ttc baby number 1? This is our first & I stupidly thought it would literally happen straight away after one go at it 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not that easy I’ve found.

I’m so impatient! In everything 😂 but I’m really really going to try to be calm and collected in this months 2ww. I’ve always tested early and been so disappointed so I’m determined to hold out till a missed AF this month.

We conceived first month but that sadly ended in a missed miscarriage that I needed to undergo surgery for. Then after that I got pregnant first month again with our son who's 16 months now.

I think we were very lucky and I don't want to expect it this time.

Hi both, i'm also around the same time! I'm due to ovulate Thursday (I think?!). I have been using the CB OPK which has been "high" the past 2 days, although I don't know if i've started them early enough so I may have missed the boat this month.

This is my first month TTC so I am a newbie, I think i've written off this month already and we'll see how it goes next month!

Hopefully we can keep calm together haha!

@RoseP123 hi! How did you find the ovulation tests? I'm debating ordering some, but unsure if it would make things more stressful? Xx

Can I hop in? I'm cd7 or 9 depending on when I count from so I'm ovulating between sun and Tuesday! Got my opks so going to start testing tomorrow. I hope this is our month because if it's later it'd mean I'd probably have to take a year out of my law degree 🙈

@missrose0110 I was the same as you, didn't want to add more pressure but I think it will help in the longer term, they have helped me to narrow down when I am ovulating because I didn't have a clue! I think I was a bit late starting this month as they didn't arrive until Saturday pm but they are easy to use and clear results up to now so i'll carry on with them x

@missrose0110 aww that’s terrible you had to go through that 😔 it ended with happy news with your little one 🤍 I hope it’s as quick for you this time! But I know what you mean not wanting to get hopes up.

@RoseP123 I’m not the best to give advice on the OPK tests sorry. I tried to use them once but I didn’t find them helpful & I found that if you didn’t test like twice a day you can miss the high. It was just to much hassle for me 😂
That’s good you have had 2 high’s though! Take it you DTD on those days?

I’ve seen a lot of the ladies say... it’s never written off unless AF arrives! 🤍

Think I'm the exact same as you, ttc #2, first cycle. Been pregnant 4 times though only one success so far. Just trying to chill at the moment weve just stopped using protection and what will be will be! According to my app I ovulate on Friday. Will be nice to have line eyes and symptom spot together haha x

@NW2021 i have only been using the OPK first thing in the morning, i might miss the peak i guess i'll know more soon haha. Who knew there was a such an art to all this timing?! How have you been tracking your ovulation?

@Needingsupportplease sorry to hear about your losses, but glad to hear you have had success Yeah I agree, it will be nice to have some support as we aren't telling friends/family we are TTC! Trying to keep the pressure to a minimum. x

@RoseP123 I'd a nightmare with opks last month 😂😂 I ended up with 3 peaks in the space of 2 weeks! I've the cb advanced opk so I'm going to start those tomorrow but am also tracking my bbt this month so I can hopefully confirm if I actually ovulate

@RoseP123 there really is! Kudos to those people who just get pregnant when they’re not even trying. One thing I have read is when taking the OPK I think it’s best to do it in the afternoon rather than the morning. I think pregnancy test is morning and OPK is afternoon? For best results

I’ve been tracking my BBT for about 3 years. Currently at a low temp and when it peaks I’ll know I’ll ovulated. Using that and watching out for CM.

@Fifi1086 glad that awful AF is over for you! Out the way now, the first one after you’ve stopped the pill. Let’s hope there isn’t any more and it’s a positive test this month!

Hey, I’ll join. Due to ovulate Sunday too, which is CD12 for me. The last 2 Cycles it’s been CD12 (confirmed with BBT & OPK’s)

We’re DTD every other day til Saturday, then will probably do it Sat, Sun & Monday.

Got my high on OPK’s today, I suspect I’ll have a few more days of those and then get my ‘peak’ Saturday or Sunday. I use the cheapies from Amazon but also the clear blue fertility monitor which I got for £30 on eBay secondhand. It matches up to my cheapies which is good. Could probably get away with just using the cheapies but I’ll continue with the monitor too for the next couple of months I think.

This is our 4th cycle TTC #1. I stupidly thought we’d be pregnant in the first couple of months. It’s already taking it’s toll mentally and I feel a bit over it all tbh. Really hoping we get our BFP soon as I just find the whole process a bit of a faff, lol. Just want sex to be purely for pleasure again, oh and to not constantly be POAS or BBTing

Hello! Can I join? I am predicted to ovulate Friday or Saturday on cd 22/23. I have ovulated around that time for the last 2 cycles so hoping my cycles have settled after coming off the pill. Nothing on OPKs yet though, hoping something will happen tomorrow 🤞 this is my 6th cycle (8th month due to crazy cycles!)

Yeah were not telling anyone either @rosep123 worried about been judged abit in the middle of a pandemic but not putting life on hold and you just don't know how smooth sailing ttc will be! @NW2021 indeed! Just dtd as much as can be bothered tbh once I've settled my toddler and worked sorted the house etc im shattered haha! Did Sunday so will try do today aswell... what will be will be. Looking forward to counting down the days with you all! @Flowers222 were all due to ovulate at such similar times haha welcome, I'm just off the pill aswell and not using opks kind of looking forward to the guessing game? Am I strange haha...

Hi! I think I am due to ovulate on Sunday which will be CD 18 - I used OPK’s for the first time last month so going by that. I’m using the clear blue digital OPKs and got my fist high reading today which was exciting!

This is our first month trying, but for various reasons, if i don’t get pregnant this month we are going to hold off until the summer. I know the chances are low anyway but this brings an added pressure!

Due to ovulate on Friday or Saturday I think. Fingers crossed and baby dust to everyone! I definitely thought TTC would be easier than this 😂

First day of flashing faces this morning woohoo! Not due to ovulate til Sunday at the earliest so I'm expecting a good few days of flashing faces 😂

@SweetShopSurprise @mooloop you're definitely not the only one who thought this would happen straight away. I'm trying not to get bogged down with it all and enjoy it but it's difficult, but at least there is an open space to talk about it here

Those using OPK's @Fifi1086 @abbaroony @Flowers222 - if we were to miss a "peak" smiley, would the next reading just go back to the blank circle? I'm CD17 today and on day 4 of high reading, i thought it should be peak today but it wasn't the case.

Came off the pill a couple of weeks ago- had my Wb, been using the CB OPK since Monday and got my flashing smiley today! Yay! So think I'm going to DTD every other day until my static smiley then Dtd that day and the next day. Husbands working away today so will have to start tomorrow tho. Was so happy seeing the smiley face!

@RoseP123 I've seen from other threads some people get 8-10 days of flashing smileys before they reach their peak. I think CB say if you've still got a flashing smiley after 10 days then to stop testing for that cycle. So don't worry you've still got a while to go!x

Morning all. I had peak opk yesterday cd 12 and felt rhs ovulation pain. We dtd cd9, twice cd11 and cd12. I haven't had a temp spike this morning though so think must be ovulating today.
